Hiya, Oh kate my fingers are firmly crossed for you . How awful for you to have to go through this again

Hi sam It's so funny, when I discovered I was pg with DS (surprise BTW) three of my really good friends were pg too. Then, DP's best mate told him his girlfriend (now my very good friend) was pg too! So we all have 2-3 year olds
Funny how things work out eh!

I'm soo spotty. I do hope it is linked to ovulation . Honestly, you could do a dot-to-dot of a triangle on my face. I've got two either side of my face in exactly the same position but on opposite sides and one in the middle of my chin! I look really funny.

sam how's it over in anti-natal? nice bunch of people? Obviously not as lovely as us though but that goes without saying, ha ha

kate I have posted to you on the m/c thread, thanks for thinking of me when your going through so much crap your selflots of love to you xxx

fruitloop sorry to hear your looking abit spotty today, (although it's very funny to read) I don't know much about spots and hormones but have read in the past that chocolate and pregnancy can make you have more spots than usual. (thats if you had any in the first place)
I'm sure someone who has more knowledge on hormones and ovulation will be along soon (possibly MrsEi25?) to give more advice.
Your on day 38 today, are you sure you didn't 'O' earlier in the month? have you tested just in case? fingers crossed XXX

Emmsy1 · 30/01/2008 13:24

That's more like it, gosh, a whole day went past without a BFP! Well done MrsBish!!!

Ooh sam I am obsessed with buggies! My favourite subject! I just love em! I'm been told it's quite unhealthy actually ha ha. Right. DO NOT buy a Marco Sky! they are AWFUL. Promise me you wont buy one! promise??
My friend's had two in 8 months, crap customer service, crap workmanship. stitching comes apart and screws fall out. wheels dont turn properly either.

I've got a bog standard double Maclaren(I'm a Childminder) which is perfect. Also I have a bike attatchment which clips on the back and is fantastic. My son loves it. Maybe worth buying one instead of double?
My dream would be a double Bugaboo which would be a little extravagant (if it was invented) but I can honestly say my Bugaboo has been the best buy since having DS. He's little big for it now but if I didn't have a giant for a son I would still use it now.
I would definately go for a side by side type double. you can get quite narrow ones. Wht have you been looking at? Ebay's very good.
Got my maclaren for £70 didn't even look used

cricri · 30/01/2008 14:57

Congratulations MrsBish and also to Pistachio, who has now graduated properly!

sambrads · 30/01/2008 16:19

fruitloop i am considering buying a mamas and papas aria twin buggy they are very light

my dh is going mad at me he wont let me look at anything
i have a bebe loola and i just love it was thinking of selling it on ebay

i was going to get my ds the mama and papas single aria buggy as its so light as well and maybe a bit more practical.

am i being silly being so excited or am i sitting myself up for a big fall??

MrsEi25 · 30/01/2008 18:05

hi ladies how are you all?
first things first...congrats to mrsbish and to OFFICIALLY congratulate pistachio
i have been about all of the buggy/pram talk i thought i was the only pram obsessor!! also i LOVE how everyone syas i have bought this for my DC when we all know that its for us (like an oversized handbag) i myself have been drooling over the new quinny buzz[mmmm] its lovely my DD or prospective DC wouldnt care if i pushed them around in a shopping trolley so its definitely for my benefit
only CD19 here so not much exciting happenin here really (except a few 'symptoms' in my mind...)
xx ei xx

fruitloop79 · 30/01/2008 18:31

What is it about buggies? I know it's not just me with the obsession. That icoo apple (is that right) looks quite good. Might be just right for you sam.
here's an Aria second hand collection only though, dunno if it's anywhere near you

OP posts:
fruitloop79 · 30/01/2008 18:33

maybe we should start a pram obsession thread

OP posts:
fruitloop79 · 30/01/2008 18:35

check this one out sam it's icandy not icoo

OP posts:
MrsEi25 · 30/01/2008 18:48

i think that is a GREAT idea apart from it leaves us open to all the meanies who make skit of the obsessives on the site i like the relative safety of these comfy threads

twinklingfairy · 30/01/2008 20:01

Ooh! I like that icandy one!!
It is better than the phil and ted, cos at least all the noseys in town can see the new LO with that one.
But I couldn't see a price?

Come on little bean, get fertilized, mamma wants a new pram!!

mibbes · 30/01/2008 20:18

never I can't believe what a witch your SIL is - tell her where to go, does she have any idea what is appropriate at a time like this...?
EEEK this pram talk is all very alien and a bit scary for a non-mum . I have heard that bugaboos are fancy so I'll just have one of those please ! Well once I have something (someone) to put in it !

MrsEi25 · 30/01/2008 20:27

mibbes as soon as you get your BFP you will get pram-fever i did and all i could think about was prams...and baby names...(but thats a different story altogether) it is really weird the way things suddenly become all consuming while other day to day (possibly more important at the time) just disappear into the background i still havent recovered
how are you today?? and FL and TF aswell??
