hedgepig DD seems ok, although she said she had pains in her tummy again tonight, can't be sure if it's 'I hate school' tommorow pains! DH on nights for the next week so must not allow any DC in my bed until I'm sure sickness all gone!(don't want another sick shower and don't want to give them my eye infection!)
hedgepig I noticed on another thread that you used pre-seed last month and now you are pregnant, I don't know much about pre-seed so hope you don't mind me asking a few q's about it? is pre-seed supposed to help you conceive or is it only supposed to be used by people who may hurt because there CM isn't being produced? Do you get it from a chemist or a health shop? sorry for all the q's, just desperate for one last bambino!

Well, I finally got a BFP but don't get too excited yet, It was an OPK!!! I cannot believe I'm finally ovulating! Hmm, actually, before I get carried away, how accurate are they anyway???
I cant believe I don't Ov till day 36! that's ridiculous! I was almost giving up on OPK's too. I only tested cos I did another PG test (neg) this morning so I though I might just as well do an OPK test too.

Oh and guess what? well two things actually,

1. DP (light of my life ) crashed my beautiful car on Sat night! grrrr . He's absolutely fine and so's his mate who was in the car. No other people involved, just a fence and damned lucky Fox. (I would've squishered it myself)

Well it turns out they were very very lucky because if the car was lower down and not as strong they prob woulda been extremely hurt, if not killed (his mate couldve had a nice fat piece of fence through his bod [eeuugh]. Good old 4x4's eh! I knew they were good for something even if we don't live in the countryside.

1. So.......now DP has seen his life flash before his eyes, it's all systems go on the TTC front! YIPEE!!

Well I hope that OPK is correct cos we BD'd last night. So sweet, DP said "do you fancy making baby then?"

OMG talking of sick, I feel horrible! My stomach's been doing cartwheels since Friday. I think there's another virus going round. All through the night last night I was running to the bathroom freezing cold one minute and dripping in sweat the next. didnt know whether to sit on the bog or stick my head down it. I've still not been sick but I'm feeling a little better this morning - tummy still a little sensitive

So if I don't Ov till day 36, when will I be expecting AF to arrive? I can't remember, is it roughly 2 weeks?

I know how you feel NOAM I am only on CD11 and norm ov CD17. So have been bored for ages and got ages to go Mind you I guess some early BDing wouldn't do any harm

Shame about the car FL but if it is helping DH prioritise then it is kinda a good outcome?

Hope that I haven't made too many mistakes. DD interupted me a couple of times

Morning all

Oh my goodness, huge congrats to hedgepig, sambrads and MissusH!

No news here, other than still impatient. Still getting AF type pains which is most unusual for me. (.)(.)s are still tender which I'm convincing myself is a good sign as the tenderness usually disappears a couple of days before AF's arrival. Feeling a bit sensitive to smells. Wanted to throw up kissing DH goodbye this morning because his aftershave really turned my stomach. Don't like it at the best of times but he won't get rid of it until the bottle is empty, but I was fine with it yesterday.

This cycle seems to be taking forever!!!!

Congratulations to all those with BFPs over the past few days, especially Sambrads my cycle buddy from last month!
AF arrived on Saturday so I'm back at the top of the list, although I see I have another cycle buddy this month . Let's hope this month is our month!

never I'm with you on the boredom front - CD 6 for me yaawwn ... another 8 days until I can even crack open the opks !
Fruitloop sorry to hear about crash, but then in a roundabout way it has been a good thing making dp see the light about ttc ! You can expect AF approx 12-14 days after ov but +ve opk can mean that you ov in the next 12-48 hours so maybe another bd required just to be sure. I have heard that you can get false +ve opks if you have PCOS but I reckon you assume you are ov'ing unless your scan proves otherwise. I wonder if you do get PG if they will see it by next week in the scan - I guess they will, how exciting !

i didnt ovulate til day 21 of my cycle so it does not matter how late it is its the fact you have ovulated!!

if i were you have sex twice a day for three days from today and keep doing your sticks and as mibbles said i would test about 2 weeks from today!!!!!

Stop it Fruity stop it! - so difficult to get hopes up especially as I've never seen a +OPK! Oh I hope it's right. A little sceptical about how accurate it really is especially what mibbes says about PCOS (if I have it). But surely if that was the case I would've got a false + by now? (iyswim)

Well we Bd'd last night and this morning even though I feel like a lump of poo and feeling very sorry for myself.

I might do another OPK this afternoon. I haven't had much to eat or drink so it shouldn't be too diluted

That crash really did do the trick! He's been looking after DS, Made me some marmite on toast and we've been sitting in bed watching 'Little Miss Sunshine'(great film)

FL What I have read about false +ve opks and PCOS suggests that PCOSers get several LH surges throughout their cycle so I agree that if you had this you'd most probbaly have had previous +ve opks. If I were you I'd definitely assume you have/or are about to hatch so get to it lady . I didn't mean to make you doubt your +ve opk I was just responding to your query about the accuracy of them - hope that clears things up ! I have everything crossed for you as you have had a tough ride with your super-long cycles !

i did not even noticed i had ovulated but i odviously had so fingers crossed for you!!!!!

maybe they will see if anything is happening on monday!!!

i ahve the docs to go to tomorrow the same doc that told me i had not ovulated she will be so shocked!!!!

i went on sat and spent £65 on fertility temping kit ovulation kit and tests and got a positve that night !!!
looks like they will be going on ebay!!!!

Thanks mibbes I was very grateful for your opinion. I have heard before that PCOS can have an effect on OPK's so you didn't make me doubt, you just reminded me . Fingers crossed it's accurate!
I'm just over the moon that I can now talk to DP again about TTC! and not be made to feel guilty every time we BD.

a bit of a turn down for the books here TTC-wise. i have pulled my back out and DH isnt impressed as according to FF i Ov today (even though i think i have Oved already) and we were only able to get a quicky in last night cos i was in agony needless to say him with his man-logic decided to himself that it has to be a marathon BD session every time and wont be persuaded any other way so apparantly its 'my fault' if it doesnt happen this month i feel like poo and he is being a prize prat so i think im out for this month...

You know my wonderful +OPK this morning? well just done it again just now and it's really faded. It's there but just faint. On the instructions if it's not the same colour as control line or darker then it's a neg. Great! I thought I was Oving . Or maybe cos I didn't do one yesterday it might have been darker yesterday and this is just the end of it??? Oh I hope so. It's all so confusing. I just wish there was a definate yes or no to TTC questions!
