i used opk and just did it that night when positive came up and the morning after, that was it. bit suprised really, thought afterthe c section it wouldtake abit of time.bit worried now as i only had adhesions removed in december.
congrats to owl too.

i had bfn up until cd 33 i think.then havnt tested fo a week and got that today.

i said congrats on your other thread OWL but no harm in sayin it here aswell

Just spent an hr reading all the posts. Can I please join too? I'm new to MN. You seem like a lovely bunch. Fruitloop: fab idea about FB group. I joined yday and invited lots of my friends to join too.
We are TTC #2. DD1 is 27 months. Have been trying about 3 months now although last month was the first time we've really 'gone for it'...i'm a bit worried through: cycle is 28-35 days and have averaged last 6 months to approx 33 days. My AF has changed though and become lighter so am worrying i'm not ovulating!! Good luck all!!!! XxX

welcome clouisewood, this is a very supportive thread - good luck . My cycles tend to be 30-35 days (although having a rubbish long one this month !) and also quite light. Do you chart temps ? I plan to start next cycle to try to find out whether am hatching eggs or not - I'll let you know how I get on

No I haven't started to chart yet but was thinking about it. I think I might just spend the next few months trying without sticks/temps because I don't want it to take over my life (well not anymore than it is). I also haven't noticed a change in discharge around ovulation...how likely is it that I am not ovulating?

hey FL no 'real' symptoms yet. feeling a wee bit nauseous but that could just be in my head. boobs reassuringly sure again thoough! I answered your 'no temp' ov-checking query on that other thread. Hope it helps!

welcome clouise, any other time we'd be welcoming a light AF! However, you're cycle lengths seem pretty normal. If your AF is between 3-5 days then that's also normal. Are you still breastfeeding or have you put on/lost any weight recently? These things can affect ovulation (as well as stress).

I think I might not have produced an egg last month. Is this possible ladies?
Reasn I think is cos, for the previous 2 months before last, I had quite sore ov pains (coupled with positive opk's and temps confirmed it too) But this last month I still got the postive results (but for 2 days, I norm only get 1) and the temps went up but no pains
Am I grasping at straws to explain away our disappointment?

Also my LP is only 11 days. Isn't that just a little short? Is there anything I can do to lenghthen it?

I soo didn't think I would still be here beyond december I shouldn't whine, some people have been trying for so much longer and we already have DD but...you know

AF always 5 days. Last month I only bled for 2 days and then it turned into a brown discharge (TMI) for another 4 days. Haven't BF since DD was 6 months. Also haven't lost or put on weight....and am as stressed as usual LOL! I'm maybe just thinking about it too much!

Twinklingfairy: sorry to hear you're . If you got +opks then you must be ovulating? There seems to be so much luck here so keep going!!

TF I seem to remember reading somewhere that 11 day lp is ok - anything 10 or under and it needs to be checked. It IS possible to have had an anovulatory (sp.) cycle - check out DG's story for the month before her bfp. She kept on getting positive opks but no egg and then a wierd af to follow (am I right DG?? Apologies if I've got that wrong). I think I had a 'no egg' cycle last month as I had no noticeable cm and my resulting af was light and without cramps. But that is pure speculation.

I'm sorry you're feeling poo though - I can sympathise with you on that one. I'm only on cycle 7 but its starting to feel like a life time (apologies to all those who've been going longer than 7, I appreciate that 7 months is comparatively short). I've decided to take the ttc bull by the horns (so to speak) and have purchased a new thermometer and some opks for this month. Military style bding will commence just as soon as af packs her bags.

Hope you get through the next few days ok and come through the other side all prepared and renewed for a brand new month - see the symptom thread for buckys new found enthusiasm!

clouise last AF could've been a one-off anov cycle. probably the stress of christmas (does that sound likely?). don't feel that temping means you're being even more obsessive, if anything it can stop you analysing every twinge and stitch wondering if you're fertile/PG/due AF.

Christmas stress, and the rest (for me) That would prob be reason enough for lack of an egg and, even if there was one, no concieving. I guess.
