Hey peeps ovulated today - anyone in the same boat and hoping for a BFP in mid May? Thought we could do the 2ww together x

@catlady10 I'd say mainly slippery. I have had EWCM but I'd say slippery is more normal for me. I kind of thought that was EWCM if that makes sense?

I think it must be different for everyone! I've seen some photos of EWCM and it's very stretchy and gloopy but I don't seem to get that 🤷‍♀️

@catlady10 I don't get that either! I've never had that, not even when conceiving my son.

How many dpo are you? Do you have any symptoms? I don't know if I'm just being hypersensitive to everything at the moment but I can't help the symptom spotting 🤦🏽‍♀️🙈

How is everyone going? This week in limbo land I think my sense of smell is more sensitive.
@41andtryingforfirst - I get EWCM each cycle and with OPK have confirmed at the time I expect. It helped me time for my first, we tried 5 or so months...However, hasn't been key for success the last 9 months or so. Hoping the best this time.

@Fifi1086 yay on the cd14 ovulation! I used to have a short luteal phase. Made you think you'd never get pregnant

@catlady10 only the gloop stuff once. Usually just some that stretches a little between your fingers. I think evening primrose oil is meant to increase it too. I take it with my vitamins

1dpo here! Fw felt like an age so feel like the tww will feel the same boo

6dpo today, I'd usually get my period tomorrow so hopefully it holds off!

I have always got a lot of ewcm for the two days or so before O to the point where I wonder how sperm could even swim through it 😂 but it's usually first sign for me, tend to get positive opk a day or so after it starts.

So hard not to symptom spot. I had horrific cramps last night for about half an hour and then nothing, and today I accidentally had a 3 hour nap at lunch 😂

@Fifi1086 oooh tiredness was one of my biggest signs when I conceived my son! In fact, I felt exhausted on Sunday night and again yesterday afternoon - overwhelmingly tired. So I'm hoping this is a good sign! Also super jel of your 3 hour nap 😂😂 hopefully this is a good sign for you too!

I'm 7dpo (ish). I have super heavy boobs and usually this doesn't happen to me until closer to AF. I was running on the treadmill this morning and was actually in agony. I'm really hoping this means something 😩

My DP has told me he thinks it's unhealthy because I'll become obsessed in the TWW🤣 just curious about other people!

My hubby doesn't know I post on MN...more so because he would absolutely tease me! He's always making jokes about me lurking on forums for answers for everything. So he would have a field day if I told him I'm actually an active poster 😂 I won't give him the satisfaction!

So does anybody here have any experience of implantation cramps/twinges? I never did with my first but I was just driving this evening and noticed 3 VERY noticeable sharp twinges right in the centre of my abdomen. I wouldn't say that they were cramps as such, but more of a passing twinge. Could this mean anything or do I need to stop being so bloody hypersensitive?! This is driving me nuts haha

4dpo today - did my horrible meeting - 4 hours! Glad it's over now I can focus on 2WW X

I've chosen to avoid DPs advice of avoiding MN, I love being on here 😃 I think he just hates the idea of me getting my hopes up too much!

@S0220 Ive never been pregnant but I've spoken to lots of Mums who have said they felt like they got period pain as if they were about to come on their period but then AF never showed ☺️

Also spoke to a lady recently who got sent for an emergency scan to check for ectopic pregnancy because she was getting pain and it turned out to be implantation pain xx

Thanks @catlady10. It's really bizarre, the sharp twinges carried on for most of yesterday evening. Definitely wasn't AF type cramps though.

@S0220 same here with the twinges and cramps but am also trying really hard not to symptom spot because I'll just upset myself when AF arrives 😭

7DPO today. Every other cycle I've got AF at 8dpo, so will see what happens. I'm very crampy and have really sore lower back, and am SO grumpy but all of these things could be AF on the way. It's not the worst in the world if it's not this month as I've a lot on work wise, and our honeymoon in July!

@Fifi1086 me too! But it's so hard not to symptom spot isn't it? I'm 8dpo today, still getting the twinges here and there and my boobs are feeling really sore and heavy. I don't really have much CM at the moment either and this seems to have dried up, so I'm thinking this doesn't look very positive 😔

Same here @S0220 mine has mostly dried up with the odd (sorry TMI) snot like cm. I don't think this month is the month at all so just keeping everything crossed for a longer LP!

We are off to mexico and being honest I'll be a bit devastated to miss out on the all inclusive supply of cocktails 😂😂 but at the same time I'm 36 this year and we don't want to wait!

Hoping I can join too. I'm 3dpo and just really happy to be having a normal length cycle after months of irregular ones! I'm sure the novelty will wear off the further into the 2ww I get. Hoping to hold off testing until at least 12dpo but I know how impatient I get. Baby dust to everyone 🌟

I'm 4DPO today and feeling a bit low today if I'm honest. I feel like we Dtd at the right time but I can't actually start to process that I'm capable of getting pregnant so just feel like I'm set up to get a BFN when it comes to testing. Do any other first timers feel like this?

I'm trying not to think about it too much and keeping myself busy!

I don’t think I’m in with much chance this month but it is the first time I’ve caught ovulation but pretty sure we DTD too late due to me being away!

@catlady10 I shall try my hardest not to be the bad influence 🤫 I feel like I'm the person who'd be sneaking donuts to a weight watchers though... I've been having some really mean evap lines every cycle since a loss in October though so I wouldn't believe a test anyways whether it be a bfp or bfn.

How long have you been trying for? Before my first I was convinced there was something wrong with me so I think it's totally normal to worry about it all. We're lead to believe that falling pregnant is so easy though and the reality is in fact often the opposite. All those years spent worrying about taking the pill at the correct time and then suddenly I've got charts and schedules and all sorts of equipment to try to time dtd right and still it doesn't happen 😅
