Testing around 14th May

Hey peeps ovulated today - anyone in the same boat and hoping for a BFP in mid May? Thought we could do the 2ww together x

Hope everyone is having lovely Saturdays! I’m curled up on the sofa with a hot water bottle as my cramps and horrid - I’m only due on Thursday going off my LH but I never bloody know! (No pun intended!)

How are you all tonight ladies? Anyone caved and tested?

Hi everyone- hope you're all having a good weekend! Anyone watching BGT? A 9 year old girl just sang and she was totally incredible!
I'm 8dpo today - the twinges I felt yesterday have stopped and not had any symptoms other than being really tired although that's probably because I haven't been sleeping well.

Still determined not to test yet!

@JaneGnR88 and @Chlo1995 so many people have told me that they were convinced AF was coming when they got their BFP because the symptoms were identical so don't lose hope!

@41andtryingforfirst I’m watch bgt, she was amazing! Me and my partner just looked at each other in shock as soon as she opened her mouth!

I was absolutely convinced I was pregnant last cycle as AF was a really weird one for me but obviously wasn’t meant to be, fingers crossed we get there this month, if not I feel like I’m ready to give up xx

My cramps have gone again now and still no bleeding, so frustrating because I get fooled all
the time by pcos symptoms but we shall see!

So fingers crossed for me, I had the faintest trace of pink in some CM when I wiped last night that hasn't turned into anything else overnight (definitely not a usual occurrence)...AF is predicted tmw but arrival varies 2-3 days... I'm 12dpo

@Oystercatcher That's funny about your GP DH, I'm a HCP too I think until I joined Mumsnet if someone had mentioned CM to me I'd be the same! My DP also thinks I'm getting obsessed 🙃

I'm loving all your symptom spotting I'm so excited for next weekend when we're all going to be testing even if it's not my month I'll be so happy for any BFPs in this thread 😃

I'm 8DPO today and still feeling nothing. No cramps or twinges or heavy boobs. I'm fairly certain I'm not pregnant this month which is definitely helping with my pact to hold off testing 🤣

I've got lots going on this week so hopefully I won't think about it too much until the weekend 🥰

Morning all! Well I just nearly burst into tears because I burnt a bagel…😂

@catlady10 I was on the last month testing group, had all the symptoms and this month had zero symptoms. I tested positive yesterday xx

@LemonZestDribbles its so hard not to notice every little twinge isn't it? I had some faint cramps yesterday but all good today. I'm 7dpo today and last cycle at this point I started getting on and off spotting. I've been having early spotting since Oct every cycle so I'm intrigued to see what's gonna happen this time. It's being investigated now so probably going to settle completely so I just seem like a hypochondriac 🙈

@Chlo1995 aww I feel your pain! I've had evaps every single month and it just fuels my hope and makes me buy more tests! I vote the companies that make the tests need to do more research into evaps and indents and come up with some better tests as it just adds so much to the heartbreak every time. Sending you love and baby dust!

@41andtryingforfirst thank you 🥰 it's a faint clear blue at 10 dpo I'll do another tomorrow and hoping for a better line 😊 honestly zero symptoms bar minor achy boobs but nothing like AF.

I'm 6/7dpo today. Had a dream that I got a massive bfp so feeling a bit miserable now. I seem to have all my normal week before af symptoms and didn't have any of the little flutters yesterday. Will see what the next few days bring🤷🏻‍♀️

@Rosegold3112 It’s honestly so disheartening isn’t it, I’m definitely going to try and hold off and see if af comes, I’ve only 3 days until I’m due so I’m hoping I don’t cave before then! I just don’t want to get my hopes up.

I’ve definite got all my usual pre af symptoms though so I’m not holding out much hope really!

Last month I got a positive, but ended fairly quickly in CP/MC at 5 weeks.

@Chlo1995 @LemonZestDribbles Last month I didn't have any symptoms except notable lack of PMS and two dreams I was pregnant a few days after ovulation. The PMS is usually quite intense for me, the absence of PMS is when by DH said he knew I was pregnant.

I am not sure when I ovulated/if I did with the MC, but assuming everything went back to normal I am a few DPO and last night I had another dream I was pregnant. @LemonZestDribbles what was your dream if you don't mind me asking? Last month I dreamed that my breasts were leaking in public! Last night it was that I gave birth, but couldn't bring my baby home because I didn't have a car seat.

@JaneGnR88 I feel you with all the hormones... This past few months have been a rollercoaster and I have frequently found myself bursting into tears, when I am really not that sad about anything! Sometimes its like my body has been taken over by a hormone zombie.

Hi lemon, I’m cycle twins with you, which day are you planning on testing? I just want to know now (which I acknowledge is hugely impatient given this is cycle 1!)

@Oystercatcher its madness isn’t it, I think it’s all just a lot, I had a scan done for my pcos this week too and it was very unhelpful and the sonographer wasn’t a fertility expert so all they could tell me was no cysts and large ovaries (which if I ovulated when I think I did could be normal)

The vivid dreams got me last time I was pregnant too! Every night it was like watching a film! My mum also had them!

My cramps are back today, very dull and sore back, boobs are sore but could be AF (I wouldn’t be mad at this, I just want SOMETHING!) 😪

Well after telling myself I wouldn’t get my hopes up, I have gotten my hopes up😬

Just been for a shower and had a load of ewcm, which is quite unusual for me at this point! I’m still cramping a lot though which is making me think it’s definitely af and wondering if I have actually had ewcm at this point in my cycle and have never really noticed🤔 time will tell!!x

Miscarriage in March (got married March 12th, started miscarrying March 19th).
Normal period in 16th April.
Ovulated 29th April.
Period due on 14th May - hoping for a BFP.

@Oystercatcher my dream was taking a test and seeing these blazing two lines, then I went to tell my friend who (in the dream) had just got the same and we were going to be due the same day. The friend in question has a 4 week old baby so not sure they'd like to be pregnant 😬 I think it's hard not to dream about it when it's so much in our minds. Hoping it's a sign for both of us ❤ sorry about your loss ❤

@Organictangerine I'm thinking maybe Wednesday if I'm feeling hopeful. If not it will be Saturday after my dh gets back from his business trip. When you thinking? It feels like the slowest cycle ever doesn't it? 😬

@LemonZestDribbles @catlady10 I'm definitely in a hopes up but scared to check zone. AF due today and no sign 🎉 - although last cycle I thought exactly the same, woke up optimistic but had it at lunchtime.
Currently I have some thrush (tmi) which I'm taking as a good sign thanks hormonal changes.
But I'm too afraid to burst my hopeful bubble with a test... Holding out a few more days 😬
