Currently on ovulation day..hoping to test 10dpo with a FRER. Good luck to us all

@Nyxxie so I got my period completely out of the blue on 7 DPO but i had covid so hoping thats why. I think yours sounds different, I spotted for a day and the next day it was clear it was period sadly. I hope for you it's an implantation bleed xx

@Sassy144 and @Presently14 I am on cycle 3. But I've been with DH 10 years and he has always been very anti-children. Last year we agreed on a month to start trying and I had to wait and wait for it, and then it was a shock that it didn't happen... So I feel like I've already been waiting so long...

Hi all, hope you don't mind me joining you! Currently on cycle 4 ttc #2, baby 1 is 9 months old but it took us a year and a miscarriage to conceive her so wanted to get the jump on things, currently 11dpo with a negative test this morning but not due AF till Wednesday so not out yet!

@pocketbunny oh I know what you mean. For men it's like 'it didn't happen the first month we ever considered trying, no biggie, don't sweat' and for (some) women (me, you, MANY MANY MANY MORE) it's all 'the first month we tried actually represents the first month after YEARS AND YEARS OF WAITING FOR IT'. I don't think men realise that.

@Pika93 welcome! I'm so sorry about your earlier loss. I had a MMC at 11 weeks back in October and it was hideous. The worst experience ever. Glad you got your 🌈 in the end 💘

@pocketbunny you must be so pleased your husband changed his mind, I know what you mean about feeling like you've already been waiting so long. We got engaged 3 years ago and already had discussed children at that point but then it seemed sensible to wait until after the wedding, then covid put delays on that so now we're here and trying but it feels like I've been waiting years to get to this point. We almost postponed the wedding again from last summer to this April but wanting to ttc was a big factor for us not doing that, but now I'm in April and not pregnant anyway which makes me feel a bit sad.

@Sassy144 I'm sorry to hear that... It is so hard to plan anything! I keep wondering about Xmas plans and planning trips to the UK and Australia and AL at work and it's impossible to plan not knowing if I'll be pregnant or have a baby or neither!!! My DH always agreed to children "eventually" but it's taken him a long time to adjust to the idea of having a little person around. So did you have your wedding last summer or not? We also had to postpone and alter our wedding during the pandemic.

@Presently14 So nice to have someone who understands! Or multiple people, even :)

@pocketbunny YES! I started Handmaids tale... had to stop, I also deleted Instagram and Facebook. I just recently made a new Tik Tik account to watch videos but I watch happy dog ones now, before it was all baby/pregnancy related 😞

@Presently14 I think we would be around ish the soon time... you know what gets me, the girl from gogglebox is due just after I would be so that makes me super sad as gogglebox is my fav prog 🥲
i hear you... wish I could get told "ok it'll take you x months" and I wouldn't be so stressed! But I did go to see a clairvoyant a few weeks ago who told me i'd have two kids by 32... I know you take those things with a pinch of salt but it made me happy.
Positive polly is out today! 😁 chart seems to be looking ok so let's hope I did everything right this cycle.

@RMS0209 since the spotting yesterday morning I've not had anything else except the slightest hint of pink this morning. I feel like AF is imminent but she's not here yet! Glad you're feeling more positive now ☺️

@pocketbunny yes same here it's so hard to plan holidays etc it's hard to put life on hold because of all the maybes. Yeah we got married last August in the end, postponed from April last year we were quite lucky to only have to postpone once in the end.

@pocketbunny and @Sassy144 we also delayed our wedding twice cos of Covid, finally got there in the end last year! But meant that TTC was delayed as DH decided 'he'd be ready after we got married'... 🙄after a ridiculously long engagement, regretting that now!

@MrsUSAinUK @QueenBee22 how you doing? 7DPO today and desperately trying not to symptom spot - after the CP last cycle, I swear I'm imagining similarities but I know it's all in my mind - annoying, powerful things that minds are!!

AF is late but I gave my last test to DH to hide until "next cycle". He thinks it's just covid making it late, and I do feel the same as all my periods were late after each vax. But what a cruel world!! Can't help but question.

Morning all! I'm only 5dpo and trying not to symptom spot and get hopes up but I do feel crampy/bloaty, lots of cm and maybe even slightly sore boobs but then I tell myself I'm imagining it as really it's too early to feel anything?! 😩

@alwaysseeingstars agh, crap that you had to work over the weekend! I'm 8DPO today and caught myself doing the same thing - symptom spotting (though i've never been pregnant so nothing to compare it to) and googling the different HcG sensitivities of different tests I have in the house :p but telling myself I am waiting til 12DPO!!!!

@MrsUSAinUK I've purposefully not bought any tests yet, I have two but they're not early detect ones! Need to go to the pharmacy on Friday so won't be picking up an FRER till then, with strict instructions to not use until at least Saturday 😂

I'm 8dpo too @MrsUSAinUK ! I tested today because I have a hospital appointment (for something unrelated) so wanted to know for that. Think I got an indent - so cruel! I had some really bad back ache the last few days so was cautiously optimistic. I have no more tests at home so just going to hold off for AF now.

I like that you've got strict instructions @alwaysseeingstars 😂 I have no will power

@JSS15 @alwaysseeingstars you guys are so smart. i should try not to keep a back stock like I have right now - although most are the easy@home which wouldn't say anything at this point anyway but i DO have two FRERs in there that are calling to me like freaking sirens. fingers heavily crossed for us all.

@MrsUSAinUK not smart, just an attempt at sanity preservation - not really working though as all I can think about is ooh, what was that twinge? Am I going to the loo more often than normal? All it's saving me is the cost of the test, no sanity saving whatsoever 😆

Sorry for my ignorance, what is FRER?

I'm swinging between optimism and shooting myself down at the moment. My AF is fairly irregular, anywhere between 21-25 day cycles, started a tiny amount of spotting yesterday day 21 and even less today, normally AF would be heavier for me by now. But I did a 6 day early clear blue test on Saturday (so day before spotting started) and was negative. I'm telling myself I'm not because surely the 6 day early test would be positive by now. I hate how AF is teasing me, I'd rather it just be clear either way so I can move on from wondering😣
