Morning all! I'm only 5dpo and trying not to symptom spot and get hopes up but I do feel crampy/bloaty, lots of cm and maybe even slightly sore boobs but then I tell myself I'm imagining it as really it's too early to feel anything?! 😩

I got cramps during implantation with my first baby, depending on when implantation would be happening I would think it is possible to notice symptoms like that early on

MrsUSAinUK · 25/04/2022 13:47

@Mummamama FRER is the first response early result test with the pink dye - probably very similar to the CB early test you took in terms of the HcG threshold since they claim 6 days before AF also. sorry to hear you're stuck in limbo a bit, let us know how you get on x

Kitty901 · 25/04/2022 14:07

Hi Ladies, can i join you? I am on the other April group too, but my period is due this Saturday/ Sunday so i thought i would jump here. Funny enough, my period is due on hubby's birthday so as you can probably imagine, i am more hopefull than ever!! I really really wish to be able to give him the best present on his special day, i am so nervous about it this month! Baby dust to all xx

alwaysseeingstars · 25/04/2022 14:37

@Kitty901 hey 😊oh bless, that would be amazing news to give to hubby!! How long have you been trying for?

@Kitty901 hey 😊oh bless, that would be amazing news to give to hubby!! How long have you been trying for?

We are on cycle 5 now, ttc 2nd, first took 6 months, really hope we won't have to wait longer than that. I find myself more nervous this time round than i was the first time and thought the second time trying i would be relaxed 😁🤦🏻‍♀️ wish it was easy!

Kitchiekobo · 25/04/2022 14:54

all,

I needed a few days out from the thread as I was feeling overwhelmed with my lack of symptoms. Today is 13DPO, I’m symptomless and test yesterday was negative 🥺
I’m thinking that because I only just stopped my pill, maybe I didn’t ovulate when I thought I did or not at all? Either way, I’m just waiting for AF to show up.
My Partner and I had further conversations about TTC and he said that maybe I should just track my cycle for the summer and we’ll try properly come September, he understands that it will involve temps and OPK’s and he can get his head round that - thankfully. We’re going to use condoms for now, but we’ll see how that goes 🤣🤣

@Hjudge56 any news?
@MO22 have a lovely holiday!
@Lulux33 congrats on the BFP!
@pocketbunny i completely understand where you’re coming from - I really wanted it to have worked the first time because I’ve thought about it for so long!

Sorry if I’ve missed any more messages. 😊

alwaysseeingstars · 25/04/2022 15:24

@Kitty901 definitely agree with wishing it was easy, I've known for years I may have trouble conceiving but didn't realise how difficult it was for so many people, before even taking infertility into consideration!

@Kitchiekobo that sounds like a sensible idea from your partner (if you're happy in yourself with waiting anyway!) - I wish I'd had the coil removed sooner to try to understand my cycles before going straight into TTC, I think that insight is really useful after hearing people on here talk about knowing their cycle for so long! You may find after a month or two you're both happy to re-start😊

Sassy144 · 25/04/2022 15:47

@Mummamama yes when I was pregnant previously (ended in MC) I'm sure I had cramps pretty much straight away, but then trying not to get my hopes up too much!

Hjudge56 · 25/04/2022 17:44

Hey @Kitchiekobo ! So sorry for how you have felt.. although I have to admit I have felt comfort in reading your messages because we seem to be very in sync with cycles, symptoms and emotions! I also took time out after lack of symptoms and BFN at 12DPO.

Today is 14DPO and AF due tomorrow. BFN on test this morning and I’m having all my usual PMS symptoms so I’m sure AF will turn up tomorrow!

it’s so great that you and your partner have had conversations about different ideas for trying and figuring out when the timing is right!

I will be continuing TTC once CD1 hits! There is a part of me that feels okay with it not happening this cycle as I would have been due 2nd Jan and it would be nice to have more time from Xmas celebrations to a little ones bday!

I hope everyone is doing well!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Fingers crossed for you!

QueenBee22 · 25/04/2022 20:03

@alwaysseeingstars @MrsUSAinUK

I am 7DPO today and trying not to symptom spot. Feeling very tired and cold at the moment. Hoping to have the willpower to wait another 7 days to test or at least 5 if I can't manage 7!

MrsGrealish · 25/04/2022 20:47

@alwaysseeingstars my last cycle was randomly short at 25 days 🙄 CD10 tomorrow will see what the OPK says. Got a promotion at work today though the initial excitement is wearing off 😅

pocketbunny · 26/04/2022 03:09

Well, don't I feel stupid... Already had a cry last week that it was going to take longer than anticipated and was already pregnant...

Really shocked. Happy, but shocked.

@Sassy144 The only thing that really seemed different was I got 'Montgomery Tubercles.' I first noticed them in the shower but didn't know if I was just paying more attention than normal...

Otherwise I had some feelings of tightness and cramps but they were pretty normal for me. I even just thought I was having period pain the last 4 days but then no AF came...

I took a test 10dpo morning- negative. But when I looked at it hours afterwards it had a faint second line. I took another one 11dpo- night. That was negative too but also dried with a second line but fainter. So I read about evaps etc and was like, it wasn't anything.

Then today, AF 2 days late, but still so crampy. 16DPO.Thought it was covid related delay. Decided to rule it out before my brain ran away on me again. Test was broken! It stayed white and the windows never got wet. I ended up pulling the back off and taking out an extra sponge. The liquid spread and it was instantly positive. DH and I were shocked. He sent me out to get another test immediately! Hahaha. Took 3 more, all positive.

Thank you @RMS0209 I am so glad your ovulation is coming!

Thank you @Sassy144 and @Presently14.

Sassy144 · 26/04/2022 07:12

@pocketbunny oh wow! You must be so pleased ☺️ really happy for you x

mummyof3.1986 · 26/04/2022 07:45

Im new around here and just trying to get the hang of the mumsnet app.

I'm currently trying for baby number 4 and I'm today at 7dpo!

Baby Dust to all of you 🥰

MrsGrealish · 26/04/2022 07:51

@pocketbunny congratulations!!!!❤️

alwaysseeingstars · 26/04/2022 08:36

@pocketbunny Wow, what a line!! Huge congrats to you, you must be so thrilled 😊
@MrsGrealish ah ok that makes sense, I wasn't sure if you generally had a much shorter cycle than me! oh wow, congrats on the promotion!! That's lovely news, hope you had a little celebration 😃
@QueenBee22 same! 8DPO today and getting impatient.
Not sure if anyone can answer this, I had ovulation pains definitely on the right hand side, but the past 2 days I've had cramping episodes clearly on the left. Not sure if I'm coming down with something as surely if it were implantation cramps they'd be on the same side as you ovulated? (not a subject I know anything about, as I've only had ov pains twice and the time I did fall pg I didn't notice any implantation cramping)...

Mummamama · 26/04/2022 08:57

Congrats @pocketbunny!

My AF was still being non existent and werid yesterday so I went to do a test this morning, AF started properly just as soon as I was getting the test out😣 least I didn't waste another test I suppose!

PeanuttyButter · 26/04/2022 09:00

Congratulations@pocketbunny
I'm 3dpo today and time is going so slow already!!

Kitty901 · 26/04/2022 09:02

@pocketbunny congrats, really lovely to see a BFP! ❤ may they continue to come on here! How long have you been trying for, is this your first, did you do anything different this month? Xx I remember i did like 5 different tests from different brands to be sure i was pregnant when i fall with our first🤣
