Hey all, I've just caught up on this mammoth thread. Joining like a month too late 🌚 but good to see some faces from previous threads. @MrsGrealish I am so so sorry, that hit me in the gut reading your story through this post. You don't deserve that lovely 😞 shitty things happen for literally no reason.

I'm on CD17, got my peak today. Been DTD every other day so far, trying to follow the SMEP.

Hope you're all well!

Catred4 · 23/05/2022 11:02

@RMS0209 this was the difference in OPK in 3 hours?? Peaks are wild things

@Catred4 wow, that is a swing! Sounds like you'll have a great chance with all that activity 😂
@RMS0209 ooh, it's climbing!! Sorry I forget, what CD are you currently? x

alwaysseeingstars · 23/05/2022 11:37

@RMS0209 ignore me, just seen it in your post 😂really hoping you'll peak soon, much better than last month! What were your OPK's doing on CD18 last month?

RMS0209 · 23/05/2022 11:40

It looks good does it? @alwaysseeingstars better get ready to charm OH haha x

cheeseroll92 · 23/05/2022 11:50

Hi everyone can I join you? 😁 I'm 29 (very nearly 30!) and just started ttc my first

Catred4 · 23/05/2022 12:00

@alwaysseeingstars I should add, been DTD every other day for like a week - not the whole month, I have a 19 month old and no energy for that 😂

alwaysseeingstars · 23/05/2022 12:10

@RMS0209 absolutely, get the seduction on and those swimmers in and waiting!
Hey @cheeseroll92 :) I'm 33, TTC first too.
@Catred4 haha I'm not sure who has time for that other than in shortish bursts - especially with a little one!!

pocketbunny · 23/05/2022 12:24

@MrsGrealish I am so sad to hear of your updated news :'( Not what I was hoping for you at all :(

@Nyxxie Congratulations!! Amazing BFP.

@RMS0209 and @alwaysseeingstars Good luck with your peaks!

@Hjudge56 I tested what I believed was negative on days 10 and 11dpo. I think most people would say 10dpo is the earliest reliable time to test. Good luck!

I haven't been on here lately cos I've been so sick with nausea and vomiting. I can't keep anything down and am losing weight now. I actually did not imagine I would suffer every second of every day and my mental health is definitely declining too.

RMS0209 · 23/05/2022 13:09

@cheeseroll92 hi cheese roll - you get extra points for joining because your name made me giggle.
I'm 28.. 29 in Sep! hiiii and welcome x

@alwaysseeingstars I went to Asda at lunch I even got a him a nice dessert to have with tea to get in the good books ha ha.

hi @pocketbunny so nice to hear from you! how are you doing? sorry to hear about the declining mental health - we are here for you x

alwaysseeingstars · 23/05/2022 13:21

@pocketbunny sorry to hear you're struggling, have you spoken to the doctors about it? I think I recall you were struggling badly with fatigue at least a couple of weeks ago.. please look after yourself, it's very draining on you physically and mentally when things go on for a while x

Nyxxie · 23/05/2022 13:30

@pocketbunny thank you. I'm sorry to hear you're having such a rough time though, I hope you start feeling better soon.

@MrsGrealish devastated for you I am so sorry 😔💜

RosyappleA · 23/05/2022 17:18

@MrsGrealish so sorry for your loss, definitely not just a chemical to us for sure. I really hope you look after yourself these next few weeks and don’t overdo it. I decided to have the brilliant idea of doing lots of overtime after my miscarriage trying to hide away from it and in hindsight it was very silly of me as I really needed to take time to grieve that loss even though it was an early loss it was very difficult. Sending you a big hug and wishing you a quick recovery ❤️.

MrsGrealish · 23/05/2022 18:37

You are all so lovely ❤️ thank you xx

QueenBee22 · 23/05/2022 19:48

@MrsGrealish I am so so sorry to read this. I literally gasped at the laptop as I read it. Please mind yourself. I can't imagine how devastated and heartbroken you must be. Maybe see your GP to give you some pain relief if you need it. Take care of yourself xxx

Lulux33 · 23/05/2022 21:50

@pocketbunny I literally feel everything you are saying. It’s so magical and then it just hits you and morning sickness is so so tough. I am suffering quite badly with it too and just feel like I’m miserable to be around. I reached out to my GP and was prescribed some anti sickness meds and they really do help (they prescribed cyclizine i think it’s called). The only problem is they make me very sleepy so can only take them when I can fit in a nap 🙈. It does get better and you will learn how your body responds best. For me I need toast before I even leave my bed, need to eat a little something plain every couple of hours (if I get hungry it’s game over). Things like polos, Murray mints, rich tea biscuits all help. If you don’t mind ginger then ginger biscuits are meant to be amazing. Look after yourself and try to be reassured by all those hormones that are doing their thing growing you a baby xx

RMS0209 · 24/05/2022 09:46

Morning ladies! How are we all doing?
Cycle day 19 for me... yesterdays OPK's were looking good but temps haven't shifted any, this TTC is hard ☹️
My Ovusense still things cycle day 25.. feel like everybody is getting 2 cycles in the time I get 1 nowadays, not sure where this has came from but I don't like it! X

Morning @RMS0209 hopefully you're well on your way to ovulation today. My temp shifted this morning. We were meant to DTD last night and we did but my DH didn't finish!!! First time in our 9 years of having sex that he couldn't finish 🥴. I think the pressure got to him, or the fact we'd done it the day before but not ideal!!! Not pulling his weight 😅😅 hopefully the other BDs will have been enough!

RMS0209 · 24/05/2022 10:02

@Catred4 what cycle day are you?

Oh no! I think it does get to our OH's... Im trying the not telling him approach (not that I have anything to share since no ovulation 😂) x

OP posts:
Catred4 · 24/05/2022 10:04

@RMS0209 CD18 today. I've ovulated CD17/18 for the past 3 or 4 months so I think that's just my normal nowadays. Really hope you get darker OPKs today, I bet it's not far. How is your CM looking?

RMS0209 · 24/05/2022 10:06

@Catred4 oh that's good!
CD19 today... last month I was CD25, don't know what is going on but I'm not having fun anymore. I'll try my OPK at 11, then another at 4 and see how it gets on

I have 0 cm 😂 I never really get, I got like a pinky nails worth last month and was celebrating haha x

OP posts:
alwaysseeingstars · 24/05/2022 10:28

@Catred4 oh no 😣 Like you said, I do think the pressure is just too much sometimes - it's amazing how much power the mind has!
@Lulux33 sorry to hear you're struggling too, hopefully that will settle 😊
@RMS0209 argh! fingers crossed your OPK's improve today, strange about the temp though (although I don't know enough about it to know how much of a heads up you get)
Re the Ovusense, do you think that's estimating CD25 because that's what it was last month and it doesn't know any other cycles?
I'm the same with CM as you, you'd easily believe I don't ovulate by the fact I don't get any! x
