Out of curiosity- does anyone know the average DPO that people first get a BFP?

I am 7DPO and don’t know when to test as I’m just desperate to do it now but know it’s too early! It is too early isn’t it?? Haha!

QueenBee22 · 22/05/2022 19:56

@RMS0209 have a longer cycle than average is so tough especially when it is irregular. Hang in there x

I think (I don't know exact ovulation date) I was 7dpo when I did my test, a CB 6 days early one. It came up positive pretty much instantly, may be worth doing one of the early tests? I do have a very short cycle though so I had already had what I now know was implantation spotting x

Hjudge56 · 22/05/2022 20:07

@Changingdirections wow that is early! I have done an easy@home ‘early one’ and it’s negative.

going to do another one in the morning then thought maybe I’d do FRER Tuesday morning at 9DPO. It’s also my birthday Tuesday so what a present that would be!

Hjudge56 · 22/05/2022 20:08

@Changingdirections how many days are your cycles usually? Mine are 25/26 day

That would be a perfect present! Fingers crossed for a BFP!
My cycles are normally around 21 days x

Hjudge56 · 22/05/2022 20:31

@Changingdirections wouldn’t it just!!! Ah that is short! Maybe as I’m 25/26 my BFP may come 10/11DPO! It’s so hard when you’re feeling all the right symptoms.. I had cramps two days prior to this and on a much milder scale today, nipples sore and very fatigued! Also had waves of sickness… will be so cruel if this isn’t my month!

RMS0209 · 22/05/2022 20:31

@Changingdirections I am glad to hear you have had no more bleeding! 💗
@MrsGrealish how are you doing? 🙂

Thanks @QueenBee22 just a stress every month if I'm not stressing about AF overstaying I'm stressing about ovulation not coming... the joys! 😂 x

@Hjudge56 that sounds promising. I've got everything crossed for you!

@RMS0209 thank you, I am trying not to get too excited but hard not to really! Haven't booked myself in with midwives or anything yet as last time with the chemical preg it was horrible having to ring them to cancel everything 😩 will wait another couple weeks I think.

Hoping some more of you ladies have BFPs soon! X

Hjudge56 · 22/05/2022 20:36

Thank you @Changingdirections !

I want to see LOTS of BFP’s on this thread over the next few weeks please!!!

QueenBee22 · 22/05/2022 20:55

@RMS0209 try not to worry. easier said than done I know but I do think stress does delay ovulation!

RMS0209 · 22/05/2022 21:02

@QueenBee22 oh I wouldn't say its "stress" just over thinking maybe! But I'm away to head to bed soon - hopefully an early night is all I need to get that peak OPK 😂

@Changingdirections that makes perfect sense - just you keep happy and calm and excited and book in midwife in a few weeks - really am delighted for you! So glad we are getting some BFP's on this thread 💗

@RMS0209 I don't even know how to write this but I started miscarrying today. I had an inkling something was wrong at the end of the week, tests weren't getting any darker (I never got a dye stealer) so I ordered a clearblue weeks indicator which I did today and it said pregnant 1-2. It said that 9 days ago and maybe 3 hours later I started bleeding. Also cramping. The pain is something else.

I didn't register my pregnancy with the doctor either. If I made it to 6 weeks I would have. I made it to 5 weeks 2 days😢 I know they class it as a chemical pregnancy but it feels like more than that for me. I am so done with ttc 😞

Everyone else on this rollercoaster I wish you so much luck ❤️xx I'll dip in and out of Mumsnet to see all your lovely bfps 💕

Hjudge56 · 22/05/2022 21:30

@MrsGrealish i am sending you every ounce of love right now ❤️ I am so so sorry to read this news. I wish I could give you a hug! Life can be so cruel.. you really don’t deserve this pain xxx

RMS0209 · 22/05/2022 21:36

@MrsGrealish
I am so sorry! My heart breaks for you... I just wanted to hear a chirpy comment from you.
I am sending the biggest Mumsnet hug 💗

No none of us class it as a chemical, ugh I am so sorry 😢
Please take some time to focus on you xx

@RMS0209 I'm good thank you :) although back on nights this week, the joys!
Ah it's getting higher then! Fingers crossed for a higher number again at 11am - don't think you're crazy at all! Just hopeful and it does take up a lot of headspace when you don't ovulate regularly, wondering what the hell is going on down there haha x
