thanks for all the reassurance and hints and tips

Went for a 4 mile walk, had a lamb vindaloo, bounced on the birthing ball and am now practicing visualisation feel much better about it all

MrsMcJnr · 26/07/2008 01:00

3cats ? glad you like the book that is great news that your DH is committed to the cause now, I know how hard it was for you before I so hope it happens soon, you have been so patient. We are all fine DS is a total joy and DH and I are besotted with him. We rowed a lot when we got here but as we settle in, we are arguing less. Nothing serious anyway

City hon, the night before DS was born I was in tears because I was so scared I?d be induced, I had an appointment the next day to discuss it! DS was born at 40+9, try not to worry, stress doesn?t help the oxytocin and most babies do turn up before they need to be induced and the NCT say that anytime between 38 and 42 weeks is term anyway. I think the sweep I had did work and it wasn?t painful either. Fingers crossed your baby arrives soon!

LOL Seaside ? you are taking me back to January with those memories

3catstoo · 28/07/2008 17:36

Sounds like you are having a fab time City .

I agree with Seaside, just busy yourself and the time will go quicker.

All the best.

Ready · 28/07/2008 20:46

No time for a proper catch up... I will do that soon.

Any news from City?

3cats - did you get a dog? Hope you are well.

MrsMc, we are renting back in our home town, which is good fun at the moment, no responsibilities, and money in the bank.

Seaside, thank you for thinking of me - I think of you lots too

Sorry if I have missed anyone... I'm used to just worrying about 3cats and City on this thread

3catstoo · 29/07/2008 10:18

Hi Ready,

Nice to know someone worries .

No dog yet, DH is very stubborn.

Hope you are well.

xxx

Ready · 29/07/2008 17:22

3cats, just get the dog and tell him it's tough.
Dh won't ever let us have a pet, so I understand your frustration.

OP posts:
3catstoo · 29/07/2008 18:19

I wish I could but he earns and I don't so he has to fork out the £700 for the dog.

I did get cat number 3 that way though. He came home from work one day (I was on holiday) and found tht we had 3 cats instead of 2. He still hasn't forgiven me 11 yrs on .

How are you?

cityangel · 29/07/2008 23:23

Hi everyone such nice wishes. Nothing new here. Trying not to get stressed about induction and learn a new level of patience that quite frankly I don't have

Good luck with the dog stuff 3cats. Our place is too cramped for pets but dh would love cats if we could, he's a big softie for them.

I hope you've all been enjoying the nice weather does it make you think of holiday Ready?

3catstoo · 30/07/2008 16:22

When is induction planned City?

Thinking of you.

Thanks for the luck, will need it, DH is so stubborn (and I so want my own way!). I'm sure he's saying no because he thinks I'm a spoiled brat and need to learn that I can't have everything my own way. He'll learn. I do!!!!!

3catstoo · 31/07/2008 15:40

Hello, just checking in to see if there are any updates.

Dh has given in to my constant demands for a dog . I am so excited.

3catstoo · 03/08/2008 10:44

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. It is very wet here !

cityangel · 04/08/2008 08:16

I am pleased to say we managed to avoid induction and I gave birth to our son Kade on Friday afternoon

Thank you so much for all your support and being there to chat to I really look forward to catching up.

cityangel · 08/08/2008 18:36

We are just back from hospital after a big scare on Tuesday when he went all floppy and lethargic on us. Still on the mend now.

Are you ok Ready? I hope you have fun hols 3catstoo (& dog)

Ready · 08/08/2008 20:53

Sorry I have not been on sooner... soo busy.

Congratulations on the birth of Kade (pronunciation please? ) - sorry to hear that he went all lethargic - did they say what happened? Are you ok? Hope you are going to post a picture of your little man once he is better ... so, tell me, how does it feel to be a Mummy after all that time waiting??

3cats, enjoy your hols, definitely post up a pic of your puppy when you get him/her - how exciting.

Nothing new to say here, pre menstrual but too busy to really think about it much - hey ho.

Hope everyone is just dandy. Thinking of you all xxx

Hi Ready, thanks for your kind wishes. It feels great to be a parent, but at the moment very worrying while we try and keep him fed and to avoid dehydration and weight loss and we're getting no sleep.

How are you and 3cats doing?

cityangel · 25/08/2008 13:34

Hi guys how's it going? Hope you are both doing ok?

3catstoo · 25/08/2008 16:48

Hello,

Sorry I've not been on. Hols and puppy have taken my time.

Sorry to hear about DS City. I hope he on the road to recovery and that you and DH get some much needed sleep soon.

CD 11 here. AF came whilst we were camping . 2 days late so I was all excited.

Picked puppy up at the weekend. She is gorgeous but harder work than my babies were . No sleep here either. I have a permanent attachment and am not getting anything done. So far DH has been great but I think his patience will wear thin if my uselessness continues .

Hope you are ok Ready.

Will post some pics of puppy when I get them on the pc. We have a virus on the pc at the mo and it is making things difficult.

Big hugs

xxx

cityangel · 22/09/2008 11:11

Hi guys I hope you're doing ok?

Not bad here just lurching from one worry to the next... ds has his first cold

greedygreedyguzzler · 23/09/2008 12:00

sorry to gatecrash, but you can always come and share your worries with us city. we are full of good advice (well, maybe not me......but the rest of the ladies are!)

hope ds gets better soon

3catstoo · 25/09/2008 13:01

Hi City and Greedy,

Sorry to hear of DSs cold - hope he perks up soon.

How are you both?

I do keep checking in on this thread but I was the last post every time I checked until this week.

We have our puppy now. She's adorable but hard work.

Still no luck ttc.

My pc crashed and I lost my fertility software history for the last 27 months . Still I was only tracking AF and migraines and BDing.

Hope you are well Ready.

Love to all.

xxxx

cityangel · 30/09/2008 22:36

sorry I haven't been on as much as I'd have liked!

When was the last time Ready was about I'm worried about her?

3cats sorry to hear about your PC. Post pictures of your puppy

thanks Greedy I will pop over and take you up on the offer I need all the advice I can get at the moment.
