New job is alright, I haven't really done all that much yet, just getting set up, just bits and bobs. So I don't feel overly stressed, although that said, my boss made a jokey comment today about me not coming back off holiday pregnant... and I don't know what my face would have looked like because in my head I was screaming "IF I CAN I WILL"!!!! I know it won't be fair on him if I do conceive straight away in the post, but that's life, and I am not putting anything on hold for a job. I sound awful don't I?

How are you doing ladies??

OP posts:
3catstoo · 21/05/2008 17:42

You don't sound awful Ready. I think you are right, especially as you have been trying anyway. Fingers crossed it works out.

I think AF started today (2days earlier than I expected) but it's a very strange colour. I've had funny colours before but never like this. Not in full flow yet so I will wait and see what becomes of it. No pains but horrid migraine and spots today.

DH has lapsed back into the sex once a week routine again. For some strange reason I am feeling really horny right now (past few days actually) .

DH won't come near me when I have AF so I'm scuppered for a week now.

How are you city?

cityangel · 22/05/2008 01:01

Yay you guys are back! I was getting lonely

I agree with 3cats Ready bugger that there will always be jobs. I was really lucky to get pg when permanent as we started trying when I was contracting and I hadn't been in the job that long... don't worry about it. Just focus on chilling out and getting ready for holiday! dh has agreed to trim downstairs for the bikini day

3catstoo · 22/05/2008 15:53

I need a trim there too. Not sure if I would want DH to do it though .

When are we having it?

Ready · 22/05/2008 17:35

Well, I think that if it is meant to be, it will be - and like you say, there will be plenty of other jobs.

CD2 here, so at least I wasn't pregnant before actually starting the job ... a month in would be excellent timing though. Pleeeeeease.

I am pleased to hear that grooming for your bikini day is well in hand

I am sooo looking forward to my holiday. I am struggling with yet another cold and all the crap symptoms, just what I need, I can hardly call in sick in my first week

3cats if it is any help, I always get the urge on my period ... which is weird because I don't actually want it... but the urge is strong.

Right... I better go and get in the shower.

OP posts:
cityangel · 22/05/2008 23:15

Name your date and time 3cats

Oh Ready maybe you need some vitamins or a herbal boost for your immune system? Sad to hear about CD2 fingers crossed for next month and a naughty holiday

3cats maybe surprise him with a naughty BJ keeping him in the mood for a couple of weeks time?

3catstoo · 23/05/2008 08:59

Ready I'm glad I'm not the only one with urges at funny times. I could have quite happily followed through with it though.
Sorry about the cold and AF. I'm on the same CD as you. I do think there are lots of colds about as the weather is still very up and down. I had to put the heating on earlier in the week as I had a cold and the mornings were freezing. Then yesterday I was wondering around in a summer vest. Today is cold and wet. There's no telling what the temperatures will do next.

Hope you feel better soon though.

City, lets hope for some sunshine on our bikini day too.I might take your advice about the BJ. He's so tired at the moment though he may sleep through it .

Have a fab weekend.

cityangel · 27/05/2008 00:09

I hope you both enjoyed the long weekend.

Ours was a reminder of the cycle of life... Friday Granpa's funeral Sunday birth of nephew

3catstoo · 27/05/2008 13:11

A mixed weekened then City.

Was your nephew on time?

We spent the weekend trying to entertain the children in the rain and trying to get the house ready for our visitors later this week.

I am strangley still feeling a bit sex obsessed. Don't know what's wrong with me lately. One track mind . I was blaming the nice weather as the sun does put me in the mood, but the mood hasn't passed with the onset of rubbish weather!
Maybe I'll grow out of it .

How are you Ready?

Hope you both have a good week.

cityangel · 29/05/2008 00:05

Hey 3cats you horny bunny make the most of it!
Is the right time coming up soon?

Ready how are you feeling, how is new job? Been bikini shopping?!

Ready · 01/06/2008 20:25

I'm sorry I have not been about. New job is going ok. Still settling in. Go on holiday very early in the morning, so I hope you both have fun on your bikini day this week..

I shall have a drink or three for the both of you. Really looking forward to going now. All packed and ready. Keep your fingers crossed for me that the sun and relaxed environment will do something magical to my eggs I'd love to be one of the anecdotes of a holiday conception!!

Sorry this is all me, me, me... I will be better when I return.

Greetings! Madeira calling How are you both?
I am totally blissed out... plenty of sun and you know what ... no sand, cos it is a volcano without beaches, but sea a plenty and I swapped sangria for Cherry brandy and lemonade. Cheers!

Hi,

Can't believe I missed Ready going away.
We had family staying so no pc for me.

How are you City?

Yesterday would have been a great day for our bikini day, the weather was lovely here, oh well. How long is Ready away for?
Today or the weekend it will have to be if she's only gone for a week!

Lots of bding here too this week. I think I have worn DH out . Hopefully right timing. Although I seem to be more horny when I have AF than when I am possibly fertile .

We may have to keep bding through the weekend just to cover all bases.

How many weeks are you now City, I lose track.

Hope you are still having a ball Ready and have a few more Cherry Brandys for me!

cityangel · 08/06/2008 00:18

Damn, bloody working late and I missed you both! Your hols sound cool Ready sooo jealous would love to be chilled out drinking right now I hope you have a wonderful time while you're there!

3catsoo damn I am going for lunch tomorrow and would totally embarass my next door neighbour turning up in a bikini especially given I am quite big now (whispers 33 weeks)

You both sound like you've been at it loads so fingers crossed. Oh to have the mobility back for some good nookie am very horny but too uncomfortable and too much in the way to do it how I like it

I will have a look at the weather for next Sun... I am going wedding dress shopping in Saturday... or maybe one evening next week. I Could watch TV in my bikini!

Ready · 11/06/2008 16:59

Hi girls... I am back and bronze

Had a wonderful time and didn't want to come home.

33 weeks where does the time go!! So exciting.

It's dh and my anniversary this week - 4 years, fruits and flowers is the theme... how mental. We have decided that our holiday was our gift to each other

OP posts:
cityangel · 11/06/2008 23:48

Yay Ready's back Dh asked me how you were getting on when we walked to work this morning

How was it? When are you back at work?

3catsoo I got dh to sort my bikini line yesterday he approached it with some enthusiasm rather like painting the skirting boards he said!

Hope you are both ok xxx

Ready · 12/06/2008 10:30

pmsl at the comparison between bikini line and painting the skirting Classic.

Holiday was amazing, I can't really say much more than that, we did plenty of walking and eating, and drinking (not binge drinking though) and plenty of time for just us, which was wonderful. I would definitely go back, beautiful country.

Bless your dh City, you can tell him I am doing ok... how is he doing with his ears?

I'm back at work on Monday. Booooo.

OP posts:
cityangel · 12/06/2008 23:21

Dh says ears are bearable and he's happier now a brain tumour has been ruled out. Still lots of tests but he's got more used to it now.

Your holiday sounds great we even had a bit of sun to cheer us up here while you were gone.

Are you not liking the new job already or just mourning holiday.

Dh is away this weekend still I am going wedding dress shopping in my large bridesmaid capacity on Sat so that should keep me busy. What are you guys up to?

Ready · 13/06/2008 20:11

Well yes, I would think that ruling out a tumour would set the mind at rest. That is good news that he is coping more with it. Fingers crossed for some more good news.

Oh, just mourning the holiday, that's all - I am actually looking forward to getting my teeth into working - might take my mind off of ttc.

Did a bit of research into assisted conception, and it seems that our new area won't even consider couples for ivf/iui until they have been trying for 3 years - so since we are not even at 2 years yet, seems that ivf is a way off anyway, even if we were ready for that (we aren't) step we wouldn't be able to start the ball rolling. Makes it easier to just concentrate on life a bit for a while I guess.

How exciting about the bridesmaid shopping ... dh is bestman in 2 weeks, I am not involved in the wedding, so I am fairly excited about being able to enjoy a wedding without having any responsibilities

OP posts:
cityangel · 16/06/2008 00:37

That is frustrating about the waiting still best to see the doc and get in the system you never know the wait might be shorter?

I bet you miss holiday! Still work could be fun

I hope you guys have a great week!

3cats you ok?

Ready · 17/06/2008 19:34

I doubt the wait will be shorter, as I read the official guidelines that they publish on their site. Frustratingly, if we had a reason for infertility then we would be referred immediately - but because it is "unexplained" it's 3 years. Oh well.

How are you both doing?

OP posts:
cityangel · 18/06/2008 00:08

doing ok time off for hospital birthing class today scary stuff none of the options are very appealing except the (hopefully) positive outcome Not sure baby is in right position either find out on Friday, but we are lucky and things are ok.

Maybe given you are in a new area the tests could be re-run to possibly shed light on a cause the could have been missed. Lots of ifs and buts there but worth a try? Things could also have changed with time? I am not saying there is an explanation as we certainly never got one. If nothing else a second shot at the HCG possible tube clearing side effect could be worth it? I hope I am not interfering too much. I am terrible without answers for everything and I'm sure you find the same.

Big Hugs from East London...

... when was the last time we heard from 3cats getting worried now

3catstoo · 19/06/2008 23:04

Hello,

Sorry, my email was down for a bit, very frustrating.

I'm ok ish. CD2 today, feeling very as we tried so hard and didn't feel stressed. Finding out about someone elses (I don't get on with ) pg didn't help. She has now been pg twice in the 2 yrs that I've been trying.

I won't go on as I really do feel down about it.

Hope you are both ok?

Will catch up next week when I'm out of my mood.

Big hugs.
xxxxx

cityangel · 20/06/2008 00:59

Oh 3cats I am sorry me posting won't help much Big hugs
