Ovulation day & TWW

Anyone ovulating yesterday/today/tomorrow want to join! I haven’t had a period for 4 months and feel so glad that I can ‘try’ again! I’m driving myself mad and it’s not even ovulation day for me yet (I think it’s tomorrow) based on having a positive OPK yesterday evening and not in the morning! So if anyone who wants to join to get through the TWW ☺️

@Peonies94 thanks! I was on pre conception tablets and they proper messed me up. So I wasn't seeing any highs at all so this month of tracking with no tablets I've seen multiple days of high so this is odd to me!

@apwilso ahh no! I’ve just bought these, now I don’t know whether to take them or not! Especially as this is my first month hopefully having a proper cycle! Based on the fact I’ve seen one peak so far, but will only know in a few weeks if AF arrives/positive test! I usually have long cycles with multiply peaks, so I think I’ll see what happens for another cycle before I take anything, as may be able to pinpoint it to something then?

@Peonies94 I'm thinking just to go back to standard vitamins rather than an all in one. I was using conceive plus used it for a month last year and got pregnant but ended in MMC (not tablets fault!) but I went back to them the past two cycles they've also extended my cycle by nearly 5 days I was regular to the dot! So sacked them off and now I'm seeing highs which I've never seen before etc so won't be using them again!

Ugh I’m feeling so nauseous already, my toddler wanted boiled eggs and then wanted me to peel the shell off and I just can’t cope. Last pregnancy my nose was so sensitive my husband had to eat most of his meals in a separate room!

@apwilso that’s interesting! My periods are so irregular I wouldn’t probably know! I had the odd ‘normal’ cycle every few cycles which lasts 30 odd days and others are like 60-80 sometimes more! I won’t take them next month just incase as I’d be interested to see if I had another normal cycle!

@Peonies94 I literally have no idea! I haven’t felt I’ve ovulated, but my general desire for sex has waned yesterday and today. I’m not tracking bbt and it’s only first months of using opks so it was hard to find a peak. My app keeps changing its mind about my ovulation but I’m cd17 today.

@Peonies94 I'm so confused now as had another static on my CB digital has anyone had anything like this before? I thought I was a few days into the TWW now I think I'm starting again 🤪 I'll send a pic of the two cheapies I did too xx

Can I join? I ovulated on Monday, this is kind of cycle 2 ttc but we didn't really try properly last month. This time we are well covered so it'll be exciting to see how it goes. I'm getting lots of post ovulation cramping today.

I'm hoping to do a valentines surprise if I am pregnant. I've told him I want to wait until 14th to test but I plan to test before then and surprise him our valentines night away in 12th if it is positive 🤞💞

So weird and confusing isn't it! I wouldn't normally test again but I didn't feel that I'd ovulated I didn't have the normal signs whereas now I do so just DTD for extra luck 🤣 how are you doing? X

@waffle222 goodluck! You ovulated the day before me, so we’ll be in this together! I thought the same about Valentine’s Day and irs our 12th cycle, but trying not to get too excited!

@Holly3 that’s exactly how I felt last cycle I had 3 peaks and then stopped testing and took a break. I had a 90 day cycle so I think my body just kept trying to ovulate. It’s best to kind of keep an eye on your own body’s signs, and use OPKs as a confirmation. That way it’s more reliable, especially as I don’t temp! After my peak I carry on DTD but only every 3 days; so I kind of cover every day, but we are still getting a slight break from every other day! We find it exhausting otherwise! I like to do this, so if I do happen to not ovulate given I have such irregular cycles, I’ve bot suddenly totally missed ovulation!

It is valentines and it is my birthday just before that so imagine the disappointment 😔. I will need to get drunk or something.

When and if it does ever happen I have decided i will only keep it to myself as I have a fear of it going wrong again.

Hi ladies, wondering if I could join in please? Not really sure how it all works as I've never been part of a thread before although read so many whilst ttc! Been ttc #3 since June last year had 3 consecutive mcs, the last ended in an op in December had my first af (since june) 18th jan so glad to think my body has healed and reset itself. Feeling quite positive and hopeful today after finding a thread with others who will be in the ttw the same time as me as the wait is torture 🤣 I'm always symptom spotting and testing early 🙈. lots of baby dust and hopefully bfp this month 🤞

@RosyappleA I know what you mean! I had a chemical a few months back and didn’t tell my husband about the positive and it had turned to a chemical before I told him ( I did tell him what had happened a few days after) I was planning to get a few days down the line and then tell him. I’ll probably do the same next time too, wait until AF is a few days late m.I feel like I’d we both talk about it we can get excited together, and feel more upset if it doesn’t go to plan. We also haven’t told anyone we are ttc so would probably not tell anyone else until 12 weeks including family! 🤞

Yes! Been ttc for a year, but only had 5 opportunities due to the very long cycles!

@Peonies94 sounds like a good idea. I think I will wait and see who guesses that I am pregnant first before telling everyone. Although, it is annoying that I have gained weight so people are thinking it already at work 😂😫.

Yeah it's been really tough still so raw but I'm just hoping it was all bad luck and ready to try again 🤞 I think I'm 4dpo going by ap and opks what dpo are you? Thank you! 😊

Does anyone else experience more cramping and hit ache feeling around this stage? I'm 4DPO and seem to always get this a few day after ovulation. Last pregnancy (surprise one) I was in agony with what I thought was pms pain. But perhaps was implantation pain

@waffle222 this happened to me in my last pregnancy i thought my period had come a week early as I had cramps and lower back pain identical to period pain if not worse. I even thought it was a light period and carried on not knowing I was pregnant.

I have had a headache every day since Tuesday 😩 and a really light period type pain ! This 2 week wait is so hard isnt it !

Yes I’ve got loads of cramping! I know I’m obviously more susceptible to noticing symptoms but I’m sure I don’t usually get this at this point in my cycle!

I can never tell the difference between uterus/ovary pains and my bowels or even ureters like when you hold off going to the loo and then get those shooting pins and needles type pains.
Back at work today and looking forward to being stressed (about something other than tww) and distracted for a change. Have a good weekend ladies x

I’ve had no pains so far! A slight stomach pain earlier but nothing major! I am trying not to think into it much!
