Well I'm 6 weeks today and don't feel pregnant at all which is worrying me... I'm wondering when to have a scan but I'm absolutely dreading it...

@Bridgey8 I'm 6 weeks on Friday. And I'm exactly the same no symptoms don't feel any different. Doesn't even feel real! Are you definitely having one? I'm very up and down one minute I want one and next I dont 🤦 have u contacted midwife's yet? X

@Skl2021 I contacted the midwife today as I had to wait until 6 weeks before I could register and then I wanted it on record in case it goes wrong. I think I will have a scan about 8 weeks... I don't think I can wait to 12 to find out if all ok. Last time I had a scan at 6.5 due to some pain and there was a sac but nothing else - they thought I might be earlier than I thought (I knew that I wasn't) so I had to wait 10 days in limbo for it to be confirmed as unviable. They said I would have got to 12 weeks probably none the wiser as my body was just carrying on. So I want a scan to know there is something there but also late enough to know I can't be in that limbo again..., what are you thinking?

@Bridgey8 @Skl2021 the anxiety is awful isn't, EPU just called me and have booked me for an early scan on the 23rd Feb I think I'll be 6+2 but from my LMP will be 6+6, my anxiety has really kicked in now thinking about a scan 😞

@Bridgey8 I haven't referred myself yet i don't even know what I'm waiting for I just don't feel ready 🤦 I had a scan last time at 8 weeks and all was fine but lost the baby at ten. So feel like what's the point with an early scan? Feel like it will be the ten week mark for me where I will struggle. But then I also want to know everything is progressing how it should would rather know something is wrong sooner rather than later. So I'm a bit mixed atm. It's hard navigating through it after miscarriage everything you think is so different to before. Do you have your booking appointment? X

@arianasky I get you it becomes real when there's a scan involved. I'm glad u don't have long to wait tho. Just try and stay positive! ✨ X

@arianasky the anxiety is unreal! That's good you have your scan tho and not too long to wait 💕

@Skl2021 it is so hard to navigate - both me and my husband have said we don't believe it's a real pregnancy until we see something on a scan. I've not had a booking appointment yet... it said someone would contact me within a week.

I think I'll be a shaking mess going into that first scan as I've only had bad experiences and will just expect the same

I'm also loitering on October but not posted... I joined all the June groups last time and then felt like a nob when it all went tits up... so I can't bring myself to post yet...

@Bridgey8 yes that's why I also want one just to see something so it becomes real?! Just feel like I'm in denial 🤦 yes I don't get excited by scans anymore I'm just waiting for bad news 😩 horrible isn't it! Used to be such an exciting moment! Haha yep I'm the same I joined one last time then constantly got notification for it and it killed me seeing how far they all were and I wasn't joining them. So I'm a bit weary to join one just yet! I'm just watching and reading 🙈🤣 xx

@Skl2021 @Bridgey8 yeah I also was on a group last time but didn't post much, I thought I'd join as soon as I got the 1-2 weeks on clearblue as I think it may help me seeing how people are progressing etc. I've now got the issue of telling my manager, they've been great and they know my background I wasn't going to tell work this time until my 12week scan but I'll have two or three scans by then and the booking appointment and I can't use holiday days for all of them so will have to tell him but swear him to secrecy 🙄

@arianasky I'm sure he will be fine if he knows all your background and it's easier than having to find multiple excuses! Hope it goes well! It's hard having to find excuses and cover what your actually doing xx

@Skl2021 yes exactly he might go a bit easier on me to if he knows 😂 as I feel like I can't concentrate properly at the moment on my work as I'm getting quite intense dizzy spells, i'll let him know in a bit

@arianasky haha u better tell him then 😉 u can take.it easy then 🙊 I haven't been able to concentrate since I found out! Especially when I'm around family that don't know 🙈🤣 it's hard keeping a secret! X

@Skl2021 ah I know it's so hard isn't it, I'm going to struggle not telling people 😂 i know my mother will guess aswell haha! 🙈

@arianasky @Skl2021 - got my booking appointment - it's next Thursday. I go to Devon the next day for a mini break so wonder whether to book an scan for the week after 🤷‍♀️ will be 8 weeks then x

Update I told my boss he was lovely and over the moon for me and swore he'll keep it quiet and just sort out my appointments, one less thing to worry about at least 😂

@arianasky that's great about boss! My work were so understanding after my miscarriage but I would really like to hold off saying anything until 12 weeks if I can... if I get that far!

So I’ve just done my MediChecks progesterone blood test. Firstly - ow!!! The lancet blo^dy hurt and trying to get the required amount of blood out of my finger seemed impossible but we did it 🤞🏻
I’ll let you all know how it goes.

@Bridgey8 I understand I wanted to aswell but because of the appointments before 12 week scan I won't know what excuses to make 😂 I'm sure I have to have a 6 week and a 8-10 week scan the hospital told me, plus the booking in appointment and the 12 week scan of it was just the booking and 12 week I'd be ok but they might think I'm taking the mick with 4 appointments if I didn't explain 😂

@arianasky that's totally understandable! It's good you will get to have so many scans tho!

@Bridgey8 yeah that is a positive and I am happy about that just nervous at the moment
