Hi I'm Zoe,

24 years old, mum to two girls and currently on CD1 (period started today boo :( ) on our 10th month of trying to conceive baby number three. Miscarriage in May at 6 weeks.

Been a tough old journey, and actually a pretty lonely one too as no one knows we're trying again!

Looking for some wonderful buddies who are on a similar journey. 😊

It was pretty spot on as I got my bfp on the 20/3/20

WallsH20 · 22/11/2021 22:32

@AdaJones26 I hope it helps! My cycle varies each month from 25-35 days. Same as before I had my little girl really - so unpredictable which isn't helpful! I've found tracking CM this month reassuring. How long have you been ttc for?

@2019Mama thank you, I'm going to use that next month and get those OPKs to try instead of the clearblue digital.

@Sunrise321 I know what you mean, my hubby is saying he's tired already 🤣

Hi ladies. I'm TTC baby #1. I've turned 36 a couple of months ago and have been trying for over a year now. I'm having some blood tests done tomorrow for suspected PCOS and still awaiting a pelvic scan. I was referred to the fertility clinic back in Aug, but still on their waiting list for an appointment. @AdaJones26 I've started taking Proceive Max from last cycle. Can't comment on it yet, as it takes about 3 months to show any effect from it.
Wishing all you girls the best of luck xx

Hopefullywaiting01234 · 23/11/2021 15:16

@Tinkerbell098 - hopefully you get the appointment through soon. Do you have any symptoms of PCOS other than not getting pregnant.

I am now on cycle 12, I am waiting until February when it will be 12 months and will phone the GP back although I don’t think they will do much until 18 months for some reason!

Tinkerbell098 · 23/11/2021 15:21

@Hopefullywaiting01234 no I don't have any symptoms. I have had regular cycles for as long as I can remember. My Day21 test showed elevated Prolactin and the GP did nothing apart from refer me to the fertility clinic. As I hadn't heard back for three months, I rang up and spoke to a different GP and she suggested getting tested for PCOS (at least to rule this out). Just feel like I'm lacking help from my GP and NHS in general, so considering going private from next year as the GP said the fertility clinic has a massive backlog to clear and can take up to a year to get an appointment.

@Tinkerbell098 really a year 😭! That is extremely frustrating when I know you will be feeling that all
you do is wait!

I had day 21 bloods the other month, they had to be repeated then the GP sent me a letter saying “I ovulated and hope this puts me mind at rest”. I am still not pregnant so no my mind is not at rest. They ran some other basic bloods but never done day 3 bloods not sure the reasoning for that, have you had any of these?

AdaJones26 · 23/11/2021 16:06

@hopefullywaiting01234 My AF started today. I will be having my CD3 blood test on Thursday. I have paid privately to have them done. I do it at home and then send it off. My blood will be tested for 8 different things. I wanted to put my mind at rest because of the backlog etc.

Tinkerbell098 · 23/11/2021 17:01

@Hopefullywaiting01234 yes it's crazy at the minute. No GP never suggested doing Day 3, and no idea why.

Hopefullywaiting01234 · 23/11/2021 17:08

@AdaJones26 is your day3 to test your AMH and is that effectively how many eggs you have left?

I think when I phone back up I will maybe try and push for these. I realise I will need to go private eventually if I need IVF so I am not wanting to be throwing money around just now if I can get some tests on the NHS by the GP

@Sunrise321
Of course😊

Do you speak about TTC much with your partner? I remember about 5/6 months in for us my partner kept making excuses.. We ended up falling out and he actually told me really he was worried it was his fault we weren't conceiving. Do you think it could be anything like that with you?

Since then we've had much better months x

@tryingforbabyh Snap! Also 30 and trying for my first!

katem22 · 24/11/2021 20:18

@Sunrise321 Yes! It’s something that obviously becomes a big part of your everyday life - trying, thinking and planning, and yet it’s a big secret.

whymewhyme · 24/11/2021 20:35

Hi 👋 can i join in?
Af due Friday, light brown/ light red discharge today. Feeling pretty low. We've been at it 15 months with a mc earlier in the year.
