Hi I'm Zoe,

24 years old, mum to two girls and currently on CD1 (period started today boo :( ) on our 10th month of trying to conceive baby number three. Miscarriage in May at 6 weeks.

Been a tough old journey, and actually a pretty lonely one too as no one knows we're trying again!

Looking for some wonderful buddies who are on a similar journey. 😊

@Sunrise321 I do kind of feel nervous ... I mean. We DTD a lot less now than we did pre baby #1. I feel like unless I become obsessive about dates etc this one will take longer! Also that step to not using a condom seems massive 😂😂😂

Hi all, hoping I can also join☺
We are going to start ttc baby number 2 in December. I feel more nervous than I did with my first as she happened really quickly. I can't see it happening like that again! My periods have always been irregular. They ranged from 25 - 47 days before my little girl was born, and now they seem to range from 25 - 35. Making tracking ovulation seem more stressful!

zoeoliviax · 21/11/2021 23:46

@AdaJones26
Welcome! Happy to have you here 😊

Sounds like you're having quite the journey too.. My AF went from regular to a pain in the ass so I know the feeling.

I'm considering taking vitamins, just unsure what's best!

@happydays89 @Sunrise321 Haha you made made me laugh with the nine months. My partners the same, here and now. Both our girls were actually pretty premature though I've never made it to nine months 🤦🏼‍♀️

@WallsH20 Ooo welcome! How exciting to start the journey again. Happy to have you here!! So you use OPKS?

WallsH20 · 22/11/2021 08:59

@zoeoliviax I tried using OPKs for the last couple of cycles but found them too stressful/too much pressure, and that was before we've even started trying🙈I'm trying to track CM this month which I think seems to be working. I feel new to it all because I never did any of this before. Is it normal to feel more nervous for a second? I worry about being pregnant whilst trying to run after my 16m old!

GAAJ04 · 22/11/2021 09:36

Hey,

Can I join the buddies group :)

Trying for baby number 1 so all of this is very new to me, only 3 months in, came on my period today so onto cycle 4 I go! It already feels like I've been trying for much longer!

Xx

2019Mama · 22/11/2021 10:36

Hi hope you don't mind me joining.

I'm 27 and I'm also TTC #3.

My youngest turned 1 yesterday and I think it's the right time to try.

I have very irregular periods where I wouldn't get AF for upto 6-8 months so when trying for #2 I used opks and went by CM and positioning and conceived a month after my MC

@WallsH20i know what you mean, they seriously took over my months so I don’t use them at the minute. I had an off cycle this month and missed my window so not sure what to about them 🤦🏼‍♀️ Oh absolutely, I was so nervous with my second pregnancy. Honestly it wasn’t as bad as I thought and the girls are besties now.

Welcome @GAAJ04 and @2019Mama 🤍 So lovely to have you! What a crazy journey!

Hiya... I'll join if that's ok!

Ttc number 2. 1st month of trying and my cycles have been very regular recently but Sod's law that gone to shit the month we start! I was due my period on the 14th but it never came 😫 have done two tests but negative. Very confused. Maybe I just didn't ovulate this month so im skipping a period, but frustrating not knowing where I am in my cycle now.

rholmes · 22/11/2021 12:12

I'd love to join in too.

We are TTC #2, we have a 2yr old who we conceived quickly.
After him I've had irregular periods which are recently becoming a little more regular so I've decided to use OPKs.
I'm currently CD14 of a 24-29 day cycle and can't figure out whether the boots OPKs are positive or negative and we did use clearblue and I had five days smiley but I then ran out of the tests for them.

GAAJ04 · 22/11/2021 12:22

@Sunrise321 feeling quite overwhelmed, stressed maybe without realising it, a range of emotions.

I get my hopes up every cycle but I know deep down that it can take time.

How about you?

happydays89 · 22/11/2021 13:50

@zoeoliviax you had prems?! What little warriors! How prem? Does that make you more nervous?

Welcome newbies ❤️

@miltonj @rholmes
Welcome both!

It’s so nice to have you wonderful lot to talk to, thank you so much!

@happydays89
Yes my girls were both prem! First 32 weeks, second 34 after progesterone keeping her in a little longer. Chaos we are 🤣 It does yeah. As soon as I’m hopefully pregnant I’ll have a whole new load of things to worry about!

I found OPKs a little stressful too. I use CB and never seemed to get my static face. Either I don't ovulate or I have a very short window and I miss it. Does anyone find tracking their CM hard? Still waiting for AF. It is does arrive I am going to concentrate on tracking my CM and BBT next cycle. I have my GP appointment - very mixed emotions! Sometimes google can be overwhelming and conflicting, will be nice to talk to a person about my situation and get some advice.

WallsH20 · 22/11/2021 21:41

@AdaJones26 I am currently tracking my CM after finding OPKs too stressful. This is my first proper month and it seems to be quite similar to my fertility app which is helpful. Have you googled a CM monthly chart? I found that really useful. We are going to start ttc next month so I'm hoping it'll be similar to this month🤞I'm due on in 12 days but I'm fairly irregular so we shall see!

rholmes · 22/11/2021 21:53

@WallsH20 I'm going to try tracking CM to try get some idea of when I ovulate without having to rely on OPKs alone.

@AdaJones26 I'm finding it a bit stressful as I'm looking at the stick confused if its positive or not! I think I'll continue this month and use up the boots ones I've got again next month and then try rely on tracking CM and knowing my body a bit better. Hopefully we won't need to track for too long before a BFP!

AdaJones26 · 22/11/2021 22:20

@wallsH2O What are your cycle lengths? I will google that now and see if it helps in any way.

@rholmes I need to get in tune with my body more and see what it is naturally telling me without relying on OPKs.

Good luck to you both. We are in this together!

2019Mama · 22/11/2021 22:25

@rholmes have you tried the premom app. It's great for opks. You just upload a picture of it and it tells you if it's low, high peak etc. I've uploaded a pic of mine when I used opks for TTC#2 last year
