Well… AF came and got me in a big way today so on to the next cycle anyone else TTC November 2021?

@ajayelbee and @Essexnewbie thanks for checking in 😊 I’m glad work is super busy for you this week @essexnewbie, perfect timing so you can keep your mind off things! Ah yes, I do the same when I’m on my own too, we really need to ban ourselves from google 😐 luckily the days still feel like they’re passing quite quickly for me, but I know this will slow down badly towards the end of the week 😂

So possibly a bit TMI, but today I’ve noticed a lot of CM when wiping 🤔 I hear you’re meant to dry up a bit after O, so of course I’ve googled and it’s a mixed bag, some people saying it was a sign of early pregnancy and others saying it’s just the increasing progesterone that does it. But I do unfortunately love a good symptom spot so it’s got me thinking 😂🙈

@SantiagoSister I am the same with the CM! I was wondering if I had it every month and I’m just paying more attention this month or if it’s a new thing? Have you had any other possible symptoms? I had a dream last night that I had implantation spotting and it was quite disappointing when I woke up!

Ooh @Essexnewbie let’s hope this is something new for us this month which may lead to our bfps 🙏🏻 I did think the same too, wondering whether I’m just hyper vigilant over everything now or whether it is new, but we shall see. Interesting to hear about your dream, sorry you felt a bit disappointed this morning when you woke 😔 I do think they can be a good sign as when I was pregnant before, I had a really vivid weird dream at 8DPO and it prompted me to test the next day and I got my bfp, so I am definitely paying attention to my dreams again now! I never experienced any implantation bleeding or pain when I got my bfp last time, so please don’t worry if you don’t experience any, it doesn’t mean you’re out.

Apart from the increased CM I don’t really have many symptoms to report at the moment, I had strange dreams on 1 and 2DPO which I thought was quite odd but trying not to read too much into those that early 🙈

@SantiagoSister @Essexnewbie it feels like it’s been 4 weeks, not 4 days since I ovulated! 🤣 I’m feeling so impatient this cycle! Luckily I’m also quite busy at work and then I’m away visiting family from Thursday. I’m not going to take any tests with me, and then when I get back I’ll be 10dpo Monday morning and might use the frer I’ve got in my cupboard!

I’ve heard that some people do get an increase in CM before their BFP, so hopefully it does mean that for you both ☺️

@MrsLeclerc you’re not out until AF shows up! I’ve seen on threads here that sometimes peoples BFP doesn’t come until 14/15dpo. Someone posted this link which I’ve found quite helpful - www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/dpo-chart.php?dpo=10

@ajayelbee 😂 it’s terrible isn’t it! So annoying when it drags like that. I’m so impressed with your self restraint of not taking any tests with you! Hope everyone is doing well! I have been lurking in the background but everyone's messages are so interesting to read and it's so nice having this supportive community. CD10 today and I've started to do my ovulation tests, app is suggesting ovulation on CD15 so will be dtd every other day this week! I hope I am doing this right as my first ever cycle for my first ever TTC I feel a bit clueless

Sorry for everyone that had bfn this month, I hope December is the Xmas gift you are all wishing for!! It really is a lot more nerve wracking then I thought it would be!

Welcome @newjourney21! It’s my first month ever TTC too so you’re in good inexperienced company! Sounds like you have it covered with those dates 🙂 which ovulation test are you using? x

@SantiagoSister aw that’s nice to know about the dreams! I hope that’s the case for me! Also reassuring to know that you didn’t have any implantation bleeding or anything, I think I’ve read too much and I’m like waiting to see it but need to get it out of my head. Is 6DPO the earliest a fertilised egg could implant? Not that we should probably be thinking about it! X

@SantiagoSister the only way to have restraint is to literally not have any tests to take 🤣

@Essexnewbie ah it's lovely to be in the same positiongood I'm glad you've said that so that's a relief! I'm using the easy@home ones and I've downloaded the Premom app to track them. It would be a miracle to happen this month but I thought may aswell give it my all from the beginning! Where are you at on your cycle this month?

@newjourney21 that was my thoughts too, I’ve gone all guns blazing for the first month and figured that over time I might end up ditching some of the tracking if it gets too much. Fingers crossed we’ll have some beginners luck! Me and a few others on the thread are around 6DPO. As it’s the first month I’m going to start testing early and see what happens! X

Welcome @newjourney21, how exciting! Wishing you all the best for your first month TTC, miracles can certainly happen as I got my bfp first month trying last time, so it can definitely happen for you and @Essexnewbie too 🤞🏼

@Essexnewbie I know what you mean, it’s hard not to get caught up in everyone else’s early symptoms and assume you must have the same if you’re going to get a bfp, which I’ve since learnt is not the case, everyone’s so different 😊 haha we are so on the same page, I’ve been thinking about that today too! 😂 yes I’ve read 6DPO is the earliest implantation can happen, and on average HCG is detectable 48 hours after implantation. I have also read the most common day for implantation is 9DPO though, so we mustn’t get disheartened on Friday if it’s a bfn for us, we just have to wait a little longer hopefully if that’s the case 🤞🏼

@Essexnewbie yes I'm thinking the same. Fingers crossed for that beginners luck!! Can I ask how did you know when you ovulated? Was you using ovulation sticks also? It's going to be so hard to resist testing so I will probably be joining you on the early testing lol have already stocked up with tests so I'll probably regret that! x

@SantiagoSister haha I have literally been so good not thinking about anything and then I realised it was day 6 today and it’s creeping in! That’s all really helpful info and stats though, thank you. Definitely good for us to bear in mind on Friday! Not tooo long to wait now! X

@newjourney21 so I’ve been tracking my cycle for ages now with Natural Cycles bbt charting and I had an idea I was ovulating around day 16. This cycle I also added in the clear blue advanced digital test and I got my static smiley (LH surge) on day 12 which was way earlier than expecting. Between that and my BBT rise on CD17, Natural Cycles reckoned I ovulated on CD14 or 15. I had some symptoms too like EWCM. Hope that helps! X

@newjourney21 lol about stocking up on the tests, I’ve done the same 😂🙈 keeping everything crossed for some lovely bfps for us all this month.

You’ve done so well so far not thinking about everything, its all downhill from here now, now we’ve both realised it’s 6DPO 😂 hopefully we can chill out and Friday will come around quickly. Not too long to go as you say, desperately trying not to get my hopes up and be realistic but its difficult not to when we want this so badly x

Evening Ladies, @Essexnewbie and @SantiagoSister I can’t believe you are 6DPO already! I’m so busy at the moment so time is going quickly. I actually don’t know when I O so I’m not counting which is actually working out quite well. Although now I’m writing this, it’s made me aware I’m either 5DPO, 4DPO or 3DPO! 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m so excited to see some BFPs in the next week 😬
@ajayelbee I could also possibly test on Monday but I’m hoping to wait as long as possible, AF is due next Wednesday or Thursday

@Curlywurly3 glad time is going quickly for you too! I think the not counting is quite a good idea, one less thing to obsess over. I keep thinking how in the “olden” days they wouldn’t have had any of this tracking and counting and testing and everyone was probably much more relaxed!!

@SantiagoSister it is so hard isn’t it :( I just walked past a private ultrasound clinic on my way to the shop and felt so envious of the couples in there. I so badly want it to be me! (And everyone on this thread) ❤️

@Essexnewbie that does help a lot thank you! I'm using the Ovia app to track so hopefully will get some idea this month. My thinking is if I'm still trying next month to purchase a digital test as from what ive seen they are a lot better. Wishing you the best of luck this month!!

Evening @Curlywurly3, it’s gone really quickly so far hasn’t it (luckily!). I’m glad you’re keeping busy and I guess it could be a bit of a blessing that you’re not quite sure when you ovulated, as @Essexnewbie says it’s one less thing to stress or obsess over. I’m sure next week will be here before you know it and you’ll be able to test if you wanted to 🤞🏼

Aww @Essexnewbie, that made me feel sad for you 😔 I know exactly what you mean, I too wondered if that would ever be me when I walked past those sort of places, or saw a pregnant lady in the street etc. Although it didn’t end well for me, I am so, so grateful to have had that experience when I was pregnant before, and it has given me a little bit more faith now that I hope it can happen again. With it being your first time TTC, I think it’s harder because you’re always going to wonder if it can/ever will happen. But I can assure you it definitely will happen for you, no matter how long it takes or how you get there, but it will ❤️ I would love to go back and tell my first-time self to just relax, hindsight is a wonderful thing, so I hope it helps you even just a little x

I’m ttc no1 and having a second very high lh surge on cycle day 22 (lmp 2/11, cycle usually 31 days and ovulate around day 16/17). Curious if anyone else has seen such high lh ratios on premum app?

Can you guys tell me... should I be counting from the date of the static smiley?
Or do you count from the day after?

@Essexnewbie and @SantiagoSister last month I was a nightmare testing loads and not concentrating on work, this month I think I’ve come to terms with the fact I don’t think we covered all bases DTD which is helping me feel more relaxed as I haven’t got high expectations. I’m so busy at work and then have a busy weekend. Are you guys going to test on Friday?

@hopeful777 I’m sorry I can’t help you there. I use the CB OPKs and don’t test after I get my peak, not sure what a second surge means. Hopefully someone else can help x

@ElleFreddie it’s usually the day after your static smiley. Although technically it depends when you got your peak as ovulation can take 12-36hrs. The only way you can have a better idea is by checking your BBT

I'm 36, my partner is 39. Although we haven't been trying for long (3 cycles) I have this terrible anxiety that I've missed my chance.

Reading some of these threads is giving me hope though. Congrats to all this months BFP's!
