Well… AF came and got me in a big way today so on to the next cycle anyone else TTC November 2021?

TMI WARNING
I just vomited after dinner, now I will be real pissed if I am indeed not pregnant. All of these symptoms really suck and my TWW has been really miserable with backpain, cramps and nausea. I never had horrible symptoms like this before my period, only ever felt cranky and had boob pain. I don't want to go through this every month only to end up in a period. Ugh.

So sorry to hear this @gvs97, it wasn’t the answer you wanted at all but I guess at least you have a reason for what’s been going on now, and you can move forward and concentrate on next month 🤞🏼 Wishing you all the best for a Christmas miracle!

@CrumchyLeafs sounds like you’ve not had a great TWW this time, fingers crossed all these symptoms are a sign of an impending bfp 🤞🏼 Certainly would make it all worth it if it was!

Hi everyone! First time poster. Been TTC for 6 months now. Hoping every month will be the month as we all are! Great to find a thread who can identify with the dreaded TWW...! I don't tend to talk to DH about it... don't want to sound like a loon with all my symptom spotting!! 😆
I'm 4dpo now and I won't be testing unless AF doesn't arrive, which isn't due for 10days. I found the negative tests very triggering in the past and I find it is less upsetting to just wait for nature to take its course.
Nothing out of the ordinary for me, except persistent lower back pain and mild cramps (similar to AF) since 2dpo. I often do get a bit of it after ovulation, but not this much. Either way, I'm not reading too much into it!! Wishing everybody BFP soon 😀

Hi everyone, can I join? It's great to read that I'm not alone in how I'm feeling.

I'm 32, husband is 40 and we're only on cycle 1 of TTC our second and I'm already impatient and worrying that we're not getting our timing right!

I got a static smiley on the ClearBlue digital ovulation tests yesterday morning after 4 days of flashy smileys. We DTD on the 4th flashy smiley (Thursday night) and again this morning (over 24 hours after the static smiley first appeared) but didn't on Friday. I've only been testing once a day first thing in the morning, so don't know if the static smiley would have appeared earlier than Friday morning.

I think Friday (the first day of static smiley) would have been our best chance so I'm frustrated that we missed it, but my husband has a cold and was really tired and didn't want to and when I told him it was static smiley day he felt even more pressured so we didn't end up DTD.

I'm trying to remain hopeful that the day before and after static smiley's first appearance might just be enough 🤞🏻

Well AF came today so I'm out! See some of you on the December TTC thread and sending lots of baby dust for those still waiting for their BFP!

11DPO and still a BFN on FRER.
My temperature is way up. I don't get it. AF due on in 3 days according to Premom and 4 days according to FF.

Welcome @ali2021 there are a few of us around day 4 on the TWW! I’m exactly the same with the twinges and cramps, I’m like did I always feel these or are they new?! It really messes with your mind! @SantiagoSister and I are going to test next Friday which is 9DPO, if I get a negative then I’ll try and hold off until AF is late too. Partly because the tests cost a fortune too! 😂🙈

@Welliboots don’t worry too much! It sounds as though you covered all your bases beforehand and have quite a few opportunities for sperm to still have been hanging around by ovulation!

@alexalexalex18 sorry to hear af started.. I think I will be joint you as well. I’ll be looking for another thread so hopefully see you in a December one. I’ve never tried ovulation sticks before, did you find out how soon after af you should start? Xx

@Billymay the Premom app suggested for me to start around CD9 assuming a default ovulation date of CD14 since they didn't have any previous data from me. Made me waste a ton of OPKs since I only ovulated on CD 22. If you have a regular cycle and know about what time your ovulation is you should start testing a couple of days before that so you don't miss it. Otherwise it is just guessing. I think starting CD12 would be save for most, since early ovulation before that is very rare.

I think I will start using ovulation strips from day 10.
I prefer spending a bit more on this and not missing my window then wasting another month

@Essexnewbie hope your weekend has gone quickly! Thankfully I’ve been busy and it has flown past for me luckily, hope it has for you too. Hoping next week doesn’t feel like an eternity for us 😂 I feel the same about the FRERs being quite expensive, so I have ordered the easy@home tests from Amazon, I think they were £7 for 20 tests. As I know I will not have your willpower and I will need to test every day after Friday until AF arrives 😂 I have 4 FRERs in the draw too but I’m going to try not to use all of them lol x

I ordered some more early tests (not FRER cause the delivery takes like 2 weeks) and paid extra to receive them the next day (yesterday). The driver was "5 stops away" and suddenly the delivery was cancelled because apparently I was not home, even tho I was right here waiting for the doorbell. So I contacted Amazons customer support and they said they would send him out again and that they would be here by 10pm yesterday. At midnight I decided to give up waiting. They never came. Today I cancelled the order. I think this must be a sign, haha. Still pissed tho.

Wow that’s so frustrating @CrumchyLeafs 😩 what a nightmare, especially when you’re waiting on them to test, it’s already an impatient time. Can I ask where it is you live out of interest, two weeks for FRER delivery is beyond a joke 🙄

Hi everyone hope everyone’s ok and I hope you all get BFPS this month… been quiet life had gotten in the way and Xmas coming!!! I’ve been doing cb digi OPKS this month and got my static smiley on Saturday morning so we dtd yesterday night and at 6pm tonight sorry TMI we wil do it tomorrow morning just to cover all bases haha really hoping we’ve done it this month

this is our first, what do we even do next????
in terms of symptoms
a bit of back ache and period cramping around 8dpo
but since then just sore boobs similar to what i'd get one week before my period
also felt a bit sick this morning but i tend to feel sick when i haven't eaten for a while and in all fairness i don't eat much anyways so that wasn't too unusual

@SantiagoSister across the pond. I think they are manufactured in England but I live in mainland Europe.

@HA22 congratulations!! That’s brilliant, you must be over the moon. I’m not sure if it works the same in all areas, but in my area you can self refer to your local midwives at the hospital who will get you booked in for your first appointment when you’re around 8-9 weeks along. Your lines look normal to me for 11DPO!

@CrumchyLeafs ah that would make sense then with you being in Europe, but still, 2 weeks sounds so long in this day and age doesn’t it! Do you think you’ll order some more cheapies or just wait for potential AF now?

@SantiagoSister glad your weekend has gone quickly! Mine has too actually thankfully, although I am getting some Sunday night dread and anxiety creeping in now…but at least next week is the week we can try and test! I have a feeling I might change my tune about the testing when it actually comes to it so I might buy some of those cheap tests in case 😂

Ah the dreaded feeling 😔 yes definitely, we have to view it as the week we will start testing, and that’s a nice exciting thing to look forward to (hopefully!) 🤞🏼 Lol I guess you never know until it’s testing time how you will feel.. I guess it’ll be good to have some cheapies on hand for if you maybe change your mind 😊
