Hi all!

We were getting to the end of the previous thread, so thought it’s best to start a new one.

A quick catch up I think mainly everyone on the old thread is as 12 months + TTC.

Newbies are always welcome.

Just sharing our journeys, supporting each other when possible, and having somewhere to moan and let it all out

@LA9610 OMG how could you not share pictures of this cutie! How adorable! Now I got puppy fever again. We were thinking about getting a puppy, we used to have three dogs (husband had two when we met and I had one), now "only" one, she's 14 and doesn't like puppies so I don't think we would do her a favour.

Thanks everyone 😊 honestly over the moon about our choice. Obviously I know it will be hard work etc as I want to make sure we train him as well as we can but I'm so looking forward to having a companion when DH is offshore as it honestly gets so lonely sometimes.

@Bundaberg84 😂 haha I know, here is another couple for good measure. He is getting bigger and darker 😍 I love his colour 🥰 Wow 3 dogs is a lot! Did you ever find that too much? Aww, if she really won't appreciate a pup then maybe worth waiting a bit.

@LA9610 ah he is the cutest!! Sorry I hope I didn’t come off as patronising but I had a friend get a dog after me and she was like ‘why didn’t you tell me how hard it is’ but I think it was mostly because I was a bit embarrassed at how tired I was and then it turns out most people are the same!! But it’s also totally worth it!! They are the best!

Well yes, I don't think I would have had three dogs if it was just me. But it also depends on the dog. One of our dogs was the easiest dog you could imagine. She was so relaxed and gentle, she didn't really like going out a lot, she just loved hanging out on the sofa, sunbathing on the balcony and having belly rubs and treats. She was more like a teddy bear actually. The second dog was really intelligent and also more or less a beginner-friendly dog that was just happy to please. My dog on the other hand, the one we still have, is a bit of a handful. Strong character, not easy to train, doesn't like children, doesn't want to be alone, has an energy level of a Tasmanian devil. Love her to pieces though, and all three of them were really great together.

@Fra1991 - don't worry at all, I like to be prepared for the worst haha. I'm a bit scared not going to lie but just because I don't really know what to expect, but i'm sure it will get easier with time and effort!

@Bundaberg84 - that's fair enough! That's the little bit that scares me is I don't know what type of dog Ollie will be but hopefully a good one haha.

Hope everyone is having a good afternoon, mine is honestly going so slow. I went back to 'work' yesterday because I was feeling better but today I'm feeling crap again and time is passing so sloooowly. Just want it to be 5pm already :(

@LA9610 don't worry! Mine is a mix, they are what they are, a mixed bag :) she has German shepard and Husky as well as Bulldog. All not the easiest dogs. Stubborn. I used to have a Golden Retriever, they are so gentle and the best thing, they do everything for food. Labrador are the same basically. Best trait!

@Amy259 Thank you ❤️. Time defo is really going slow, I’d do anything just to fast forward a few weeks but apart from that I’m doing ok just a little anxious. Had a chat with a midwife and she was so so lovely and reassuring. She also said what most of you guys said there’s nothing I can do so just try make sure I look after myself and rest.

What’s everyone’s plans for the weekend?, anyone doing anything nice?

@AZ1992X I can imagine the time drags big time. Did you get a date for a scan?

We were out for a walk today and some lunch. I got spotting tonight so I just want to stay in best the rest of the weekend. Why does it have to be harder everytime 😣😣

How's everyone on this chilly Sunday!

I've just done my morning Cb monitor and it is showing high day for ovulation. I'm in utter shock that I'm only on day 13 and that's happened as I thought I was high/ovulating around day 18-21 bracket. No wonder I've not got pregnant when I've got it so off by assuming! Come off the conceive plus vitamins as they have definitely messed my cycle up as well!

I’ve been quiet during the 2WW, one because I’ve not had any notifications and two because I try to keep my mind off the 2WW.

@LA9610- that puppy is just adorable!!

Hope everyone is okay and had a nice weekend so far. We went out for a lovely afternoon tea yesterday. Far too much cake though!

Welcome @WhatToThink1 sorry for the delay in my hello!! :) I answer to your question no, only because I don’t really get noticeable EWCM at all. I never have 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have read of others who continue to have it even after ovulating though.

@apwilso glad you got your peak! Seems this month has been early for us haha maybe AF will be a little earlier too? Were the tests okay to use?

My app keeps telling me to do LH tests but I stopped after the day of highs and peaks. So we will see.

@Fra1991 Augh that’s frustrating! That’s the time some people see implantation so I see why it would be so confusing too. Why do our bodies tease us so much?!

sorry to read how anxious you were the first few weeks and with the cyst too. After everything we have all been through you would think it would magically be better once we see the BFP 😩 glad you’re doing better ❤️

Had a bit of a chilled weekend. OH DC had a birthday party yesterday so spent it watching them running round like crazy. Then today I made some bread (super exciting haha) I’ve also bought some drawers off Facebook and I’m doing them up. So that’s the peak of my excitement 😂

@HopefulGlow I'm assuming that will be the case of course if I'm not pregnant by the end of this cycle! The tests are jus the same as anything else but you put it into the actual monitor and it's so much easier! Would recommend. I think I'll do that once I get my confirmed ovulation

Another cycle starts again. Had spotting all day yesterday so knew it was coming, came last night and today full flow.

This is why I don’t test anymore, cycle is like clockwork!

@HopefulGlow I know the first few months of trying I used to think it could be implantation but I’ve given up on that now!! How are you getting on? Af arrived today for me a few days early so at least I don’t have to put up with a week or the spotting like normal!!

Anyways just been to the toilet and think I had some pink when I wiped 😢 I’m convinced that that’s it and it’s happening again to me.

@Lauralozzle - sorry to hear AF has arrived again. I am the same, my cycle is pretty clockwork and if it ever veers then it comes early rather than late so I don't really get much opportunity to test anyway!

AF is due on Sunday for me, not feeling anything yet. If it does appear my next attempt will be in 5 weeks as DH will miss the next window, he's just gone back to work for 3 weeks so i'm now just trying to contend with looking after Ollie on my own lol.

@Fra1991 thanks, I’m planning on a nice hot bath tonight which will be a nice treat. Might have gone a little chocolate mad when it started but 🤷‍♀️

It’s a nice one this month, not much cramping, which is always nice. Some months are like this, some are quite painful but it’s been ok so far. I’m sorry AF came for you too!

@LA9610 clockwork periods are a blessing and a curse. I’m the same, likely to be early rather than late. Have lots of fun with Ollie! 😊

I’m not feeling well at all this morning and got really bad nausea/been sick so I’m hoping that’s a good sign.

@AZ1992X glad to hear it's stopped now. I mean this in the best way possible, I'm glad you're having nausea, it means your little bean is settling in there quite well xx

@Lauralozzle - they are, and I think having a shorter cycle means that there is less waiting but then sometimes I wonder is that maybe why I am not having any luck? I'm sure in my twenties my cycle used to be 28-31 days long and now it's only around 25-26 days. Actually not long after sending that message last night I got the normal signs that AF will arrive in the next day or two and it will be here later today so that's me out until the end of March for a chance of seeing a BFP :(

@AZ1992X - that's a really good sign, relieved to here that the bleeding hasn't progressed.

I'm going over to my sisters this evening as it's my nephews birthday but other than that it will be a quiet weekend looking after Ollie! Can't really leave him on his own for any length of time yet.

@LA9610 I'm really similar- in my 20s they were 29 days. I knew because if last month it started on a Wednesday, it'd always start on the Thursday. Now they're shorter, a bit more erratic, I don't bleed as long though. That's probably not the silver lining I think it is!

NHS appointment for referral came this morning! I hadn't heard didly-squat after the chlamydia test so guess that was fine, as I knew it would be! Appointment is on 14/03/22 so not too long to wait. Happy we're getting somewhere.

@apwilso ah that’s good! It takes the guessing work out of the tests if that device tells you. Fingers crossed you won’t need it next cycle anyway 🤞🏼
