Hey ladies, I'm spending sooo much money each month on pregnancy tests... i think I'm addicted to peeing on sticks 😅 how early have you ladies actually got a positive test? My af is due in 6 days and i been testing all week - knowing its way to early but getting so disheartened seeing just the one line :( when should i start testing really?

StillJustWaiting · 08/11/2021 19:32

@Stallsey CONGRATULATIONS! That's amazing news I'm so so so happy for you!! Please keep us updated through your pregnancy journey! We all need our BFP soon and hopefully we can all be on the journey together!! 🥰🥰

@Pugmumm huge congratulations to you too!! What an awesome surprise 😍😍 please do stay on the thread and keep us updated along your pregnancy journey! :D

@emmilyb I'm so sorry lovely! Is it definitely AF or could it possibly be pregnancy related? Keeping everything crossed for you!! 🤞🤞

@WhatTheEll how are you doing? Feeling positive for next cycle?! :) i think we're all going to get some sort of luck soon!

I'm doing okay, started my new job today and my gosh I HATE IT! I'm absolutely knackered and feel so fed up, I was hoping I'd love this job but I feel quite the opposite way about it!
CD40 for me, absolutely my longest cycle yet, still no sign of AF. FRER looks exactly the same again today, I have no doubt at all about them not being indent lines... just hoping AF hurry's up.
No way at all they can be faint positives that faint for a whole week xxxx

@StillJustWaiting hey hun hope you're well, not to put fear in your mind but have you been to the drs? My friend recently was getting faint lines on pregnancy test and no Af she ended up having to have surgery as she has an ectopic pregnancy, think anything over 40 days without a period they advise going to the drs, probably nothing but maybe you might get some answers ❤️

Af is deffo here I did hope it was just implantation or a small amount of spotting but it's deffo Af, just frustrated with myself for testing so early because if I didn't test I would have never know and it would just be a normal monthly xx

StillJustWaiting · 09/11/2021 18:13

@emmilyb thank you lovely 🥰. I haven't been to the drs, i thought about it - as the last week or so I've had almost like a shock every now and then fairly low down in the one side but again just thought maybe because I'm so focused on symptom spotting at the moment that I might just be noticing something that I wouldn't normally notice, if that makes sense ?
Ectopic crossed my mind a couple times but then again i thought that if I was pregnant even if it was ectopic surely the line would be a little more visible than how ridiculously faint it actually is?
Would there be any improvement at all in the line with an ectopic pregnancy over the duration of a week?
I haven't tested today - totally given up all hope tbh
My last cycle was 34 days and the one before that 37... so 41 days is only 4 days later than my previous longest cycle...
I honestly have no idea whats going on, what I find most odd is that I have absolutely no AF symptoms and i always get AF symptoms for a whole week prior to af making an appearance!

Sorry if its TMI but I have noticed that I have had quite a bit of discharge today compared to normal! Any ideas on that ladies ? Xxxx

If i went by my last cycle id be 9 days now! 6 days late going by my previous longest cycle... I'd love to know what my body is actually playing at! Last day at work today for the week, if no sign of af before, I'm going to call my drs tomorrow... somethings not right, especially when I'm getting these weird shocks and twinges low down on the one side mainly x

WhatTheEll · 11/11/2021 22:33

@StillJustWaiting keep us posted darling ♥️

Stallsey · 14/11/2021 18:34

@StillJustWaiting How are you doing? Xxx

1Dandelion1 · 14/11/2021 22:36

In the same position, AF is a week late and getting faint lines.
I did this test a few days ago on a cheapy own brand (Morrisons) so have picked up some clearblue to test again tomorrow.
I'm breaking out, feeling shattered, boobs feel bigger and craving carbs (especially my OHs homemade garlic wedges) but they could all be the preparation for AF!

When to test?
StillJustWaiting · 14/11/2021 23:37

@Stallsey still getting negative tests with vvvfl on FRER - i am positive I'm just spotting the indent lines by looking so hard!
CD46 now - well almost 47... I definitely have AF boobs now! They're very sensitive, quite painful & lumpy! Just none of my other usual af symptoms i.e bad back, cramps, bloating etc...
I do feel quite miserable at the moment, usual for af....
I didn't manage to get through to my GP on Friday so will have to wait till next Friday now!! I work 10 hour shifts Monday to Thursday so its not possible till then... unless AF actually does decide to make an appearance before then!

@1Dandelion1 CONGRATULATIONS that looks positive to me! Fingers crossed for you!! 🤞 keep us updated with testing tomorrow!!

@Stallsey @WhatTheEll @emmilyb how are you ladies getting on? Any updates? 🌸

StillJustWaiting · 14/11/2021 23:47

Well, I say still but I haven't actually tested in a couple days, I tested Friday with cb ultra early digital and got 'NOT PREGNANT' and took that as my final no.

1Dandelion1 · 15/11/2021 07:59

Sorry to hear that, i retested today due to my doubts with the first yest and got a negative.

When to test?
StillJustWaiting · 15/11/2021 14:03

@1Dandelion1 that looks positive to me xx

WhatTheEll · 15/11/2021 14:12

@1Dandelion1 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you!
@StillJustWaiting how are you doing?? I'm currently CD9, started OPK (just cheap dip tests, so back on the DTD wagon 😬

1Dandelion1 · 15/11/2021 14:26

@StillJustWaiting I'm not sure and have pretty much come to terms with a negative result, maybe the previous test was a evap line.

If AF hasn't made her appearance by the weekend I'll test again. In the meantime i will enjoy chocolate, cheese and carbs.

emmilyb · 15/11/2021 22:43

Hey ladies hope you're all doing well
It was deffo AF for me unfortunately mine was a chemical pregnancy but now back to a fresh cycle, my partner isn't clued up on ttc and ovulation and seems to think it means dtd everyday🤣 think I'm going to take a month of opks this month and just go with the slow and see what happens, last cycle was very stressful and ultimately meant me testing way too early, to think if I hadn't have tested I would never have known because af was just the same as normal. Fingers crossed for us all this month!
@StillJustWaiting i know the feeling on the long shifts! I work for nhs and mine are 12.5hr shifts so finding time around work can be hard but deffo get an appointment poked with gp if af doesn't show soon xx

@1Dandelion1 i can see faint lines on both have you tried clear blue digital untranearly I got "pregnant" on that one with faint lines, but it was a chemical, how many dpo are you?

@WhatTheEll how are you getting on hun x

1Dandelion1 · 15/11/2021 22:52

@emmilyb 16-18 days dpo (i think)

We gave up trying 5 years ago after trying 10 with only heartache, i only track my period these days which was due last week - i only did the test to scare AF into line!

emmilyb · 15/11/2021 23:31

@1Dandelion1 oh bless you!! There is definitely a line on both of them without fail have you been keeping the tests to see if the lines are getting darker! Fingers crossed 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 keep us updated xx

JemG908 · 16/11/2021 18:29

Hey ladies,

I hope you don't mind me joining, I have been watching away at these threads for a long while, but never really had anything useful to add or say. But I'm looking for some advice / opinions.

I am 15dpo, and 1 day late - usually bang on 29day cycle. I from 4-5dpo I was getting symptoms I've never noticed before, and usually only get AF symptoms literally 30mins before arrival.

The last week or so I have been a mixture of grumpy and sensitive, low belly cramps on and off, today and yesterday I've been feeling sick on and off through the day. And today have very noticeable CM which I haven't noted before AF in previous months.

So everything points to great news - however as of yesterday morning i am still testing negative - I have inspected the tests and used different brands and no sign of any line at all - is it worth holding out hope for this month? Xx

WhatTheEll · 16/11/2021 21:15

@JemG908 Hey 👋 it does all sound so positive. Are you definitely 15DPO? Do you know for sure when you ovulated? You're only a day late so there could still be hope. Always hope until AF arrives 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@emmilyb just plodding along at CD10 waiting for ovulation, CM and to DTD! 👍🏻 x
How are you?
