When to test?

Hey ladies, I'm spending sooo much money each month on pregnancy tests... i think I'm addicted to peeing on sticks 😅 how early have you ladies actually got a positive test? My af is due in 6 days and i been testing all week - knowing its way to early but getting so disheartened seeing just the one line :( when should i start testing really?

@WhatTheEll I'm okay, just fed up! A whole year of trying now! :( still bleeding just a very very light flow ! :( i was only off my period for a week :( x

I had a 37DC, then 34DC, then 52DC to a 14DC! What on earth is going on?! And what makes matters worse is I can't get hold of my drs for love or money!! 😩

Spent my entire 25 minute lunch break calling my drs again today but still after 25 mins ringing got no answer... driving me insane this is... I just want to be able to have a baby of my own, I feel like a total failure at the moment!
I also feel really crappy about the fact that I am jealous that my sister is now pregnant with her 3rd and she wasn't even trying to fall pregnant :( don't get me wrong I am so happy for her and can not wait to have newborn cuddles 😍🥰 but I can't shift feeling jealous about it and that's making me feel worse for sure !

@StillJustWaiting I'm so sorry!! I'm sending you huge hugs. You definitely need to get to the bottom of your cycles. Have you thought about going private? I know you should have to but GP's are a joke atm!
I know how you feel RE people falling pregnant asap. My best friend tried once for her first AND second. She's just had her second. So she was thinking about being pregnant, got pregnant then had the baby, all the same time I've been trying 🥺 it's heartbreaking xx

@WhatTheEll I have finally managed to get hold of my drs today and my GP has asked me to come in for a face to face appointment tomorrow!! :D
Hopefully I can get some answers at long last!

Dr's sending me for scans before going forward she said something isn't right and we need to get to the bottom of it but she doesn't want to do anything without seeing if anything is visibly wrong first... so just a waiting game a guess xxx

I'm about CD11 just waiting to ovulate (again!). I bought a fertility cup thing that I might try this month. Anyone else tried one? I think it's called ferti-Lilly or something like that xx

@WhatTheEll hey hun❤️ cd11 already! Your cycles seem to be so quickly because they're short, I've never heard of the bio you're talking about but am very curious now! Google here I come haha

I'm currently 10 days late on period and today got clear blue 3+ do not feel at all pregnant I felt more pregnant last month with the chemical. Feeling to book early scan because I'm too nervous about everything.

@emmilyb I completely understand the feeling of not feeling pregnant, I worried most of week 5 because I had no symptoms! Try not to worry (I know it's easier said then done!)
Sickness hit me like a tone of bricks at 6 weeks and that made it feel a lot more real!! Xxx

I'm almost 11 weeks (still cannot believe it), so grateful but really missing my wine and Brie this Christmas!!

@StillJustWaiting if you have long cycles it' because you're not ovulating on day 14. You'd ovulate 14 days before your period. However if you're not ovulating, you could have long cycles with spotting throughout. Either way, if carries on, worth getting checked out. Are you using OPKs and temping?

I had a 19DC, come on on Christmas eve :( I'm not really tracking anything anymore other than my periods, my last 3 cycles have been
53DC, 14DC,19DC
Just got to wait and see if anything comes of these scans on the 4th, this is my 2nd period this month and probably the heaviest I've had all year, literally soaking through a full pad every hour, awful!

Not 'trying' anymore just if it happens great but going to focus on sorting my cycles etc out before focusing on baby making for now

I had this yesterday, I've not even told my husband, I'm just carrying on like nothing has changed, I had what I presumed was a light period (red blood, just not heavy). I tested on a whim because it stopped suddenly and my boobs became MORE painful. I'm at a loss because this is how my last pregnancies started and ended in miscarriage. I'm not excited, I'm just empty. I haven't a clue if I'll even tell anyone until it's more real and if I get passed the 6/6.5 week mark 😭

@WhatTheEll ahhh amazing congratulations!!! I'm 7 weeks today and haven't felt at all pregnant so have booked an early scan for next week to just confirm it. I too have only told my partner as too scared to tell anyone else just in case, it's a horrible feeling knowing you are hit not allowing yourself to be excited to protect yourself from the hurt just in case the worst happens I think a lot of us have been there hun but this is amazing news ❤️ fingers crossed for a sticky baby as am I🤞🏼🤞🏼

@emmilyb thank you ♥️ let us know how your scan goes. Last two miscarriages I booked private early scans for 6.5 weeks, but ended in hospital being scanned. So I won't book anything until I'm passed that stage, like you. Good luck! I'm only around 4 weeks so still early. I'm starting a new job on 5th Jan as well 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi everyone, it’s nice to see a couple of BFPs on this thread as it gives me some hope Congratulations & good luck to those still trying

We started ttc this cycle but having recently come off the pill I don’t really know if we dtd at the ‘right’ time or not. AF came on December 8th for me so treated 19-24 as ovulation time but only had sex 3 times across those few days…

I currently have no symptoms of anything although I have never been pregnant before so wouldn’t really know what to expect anyway
The only weird thing is I also had my booster during the couple days I may have ovulated and since then the bottom of my back has been sore

I haven’t done any pregnancy tests yet because I didn’t really know when to!

@StillJustWaiting Ah bless you, really hoping you get some answers after the 4th. Hope your period has calmed down abit 😢

@BlueSky57 hi! Only takes 1 time to make a baby so seems like you did it right!!
I got a faint line 9 days past ovulation, that's quite early so to be safe I would just wait until your period is due and test away. Baby dust to you x

@Stallsey thank you! I took a FRER test today on CD23 and got a BFN. Think it may have been a bit early for me so will wait for AF to hopefully not show up as you suggested
