Well I think technically I’m a day late. Might come today I guess.
I don’t test cos I get so upset seeing negatives I’d rather either have af come or be stupidly late that it makes me test πŸ™ˆ seeing the negative yesterday morning was rubbish but that was a CB 6 day early one

positiveovernegative · 14/10/2021 10:32

Thank you all so much for your support 😘

Please please don't ever feel like you are being insensitive (those who said this) we're all at different points in our journeys and that's why these threads work so well πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Keep going everyone, I think I'm going to take a couple of months out while I wait for my consultant appointment xxx

Elsols93 · 14/10/2021 10:32

@Danani wow I just clicked on the link what a long journey she was on! made me emotional for her ❀️

Danani · 14/10/2021 10:57

@positiveovernegative sending you a massive virtual hug! You take care of yourself and your mental health, lovey! Taking a couple of months out to figure things out is probably going to do you some good!
Btw a lot of people get their BFPs when they’re β€œtaking some time out”. Just throwing it out there. πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ€

@positiveovernegative your mental health comes first always and so time out to focus on you and your OH sounds like a good idea. And going off the back of what @danani said I know someone who struggled to carry a baby mc after mc and then gave up trying focused on herself and is now pregnant with her 3rd which was a total an utter suprise.

Btt went up today so think ovulation has happened as the pain has gone too. Dtd so hoping this month is the month but preparing myself for it not to be. DH has a spinal injury and although neither of us have had any fertility tests it's like a 10‰ chance to conceiving naturally so I do think we are just going to have to go through the motions for another 4 cycles before we can get some help.

Cruz86 · 14/10/2021 11:51

This thread updates so quickly!!

Sorry to those who are out this cycle πŸ˜” @Bundaberg84 my Mum had an ectopic 12 years ago so only has one tube. She then conceived my younger brother a few months later. Hope you get your bfp soon.

Mummybearto3bg · 14/10/2021 12:09

Sorry to hear @Bundaberg84. Enjoy a glass of wine? Xx

HRHXO · 14/10/2021 13:00

@positiveovernegative aw I think a little time off will help, they do day stress can effect our chances of conceiving and you never know it might just happen when you least expect it! Big hugs.

Guess who managed to somehow balls up using OPKs again today. Me πŸ˜‚ I used a CB but I removed the stick too quick by accident. It was 6am and I clearly wasn't with it yet so results were inconusive but I'd already flushed the urine sample... did a cheap easy@home OPK 4 hours later around 10 but still low which I guess is fine for CD9?

I'll keep trying with the CB ones from tomorrow and hopefully do it right this time. Didn't know there was a wrong way to poas or whatever but here we are!

Mummytobe93 · 14/10/2021 13:34

I’m sorry to hear about AFs arriving.. if my arrives I’ll indulge in wine & cheeseboard πŸ·πŸ§€

In the meantime I think I’m going down with a head cold 🀧 I’ve been using lots of public transport lately and I wasn’t wearing a mask which I’m now regretting… there’s so many people coughing right in your face πŸ™…πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Effram · 14/10/2021 13:44

@positiveovernegative sending so much love xxxxx
@Bundaberg84 sorry to hear that but lots of love
@Mummybearto3bg I can see it, keeping fingers crossed it gets darker!
@SammiStap I've got everything crossed, it feels promising!
@Mummytobe93 this does all sound hopeful! when will you test?

@Danani I'm like 3DPO and already itching to test this fortnight is going to be loooonnnngggg haha!

Mummytobe93 · 14/10/2021 14:07

I was planning on testing on Saturday but since I’ve got 20 cheap β€œeasy at home” tests I might do one tomorrow morning just for fun πŸ˜‰ xx

LittleMysSister · 14/10/2021 14:34

Just did an OPK and had an even fainter line than yesterday - which was the first faint line to appear Confused

Urine was very light so I think I'll try again later and make an effort not to drink too much first...but going by the last couple of months I was expecting my peak or at least a dark line today Hmm.

Hope I haven't missed it! But I only came off my period last Tuesday so surely not Confused.

Danani · 14/10/2021 14:34

@Mummytobe93, wear your mask girllll!!! Especially on public transport. London tube is nasty, and people do not understand personal space. It's a special kind of torture I try to avoid as much as I can. Grin
Also...easy@home are not the most sensitive, and you'll only be 8 DPO tomorrow. You do you, but...just sayin'.

@Effram, stooop ! LOL. Resist the urge babe, it's way too early. I still do not have any desire or need to test, but then at only 4/5 DPO it's early days Grin.

Danani · 14/10/2021 14:36

@HRHXO, make sure you insert the test in the reader before you dip it in your wee to test. Then once it starts flashing, set it aside and come back in 5 min.
PS. I think flashing smiley would stay on for like 8-10 min, after you eject the strip. And static will stay on for 48 h.
Good luck!!!

Effram · 14/10/2021 14:46

@Danani haha don't worry I am not actually close to doing it. I think it's seeing all the tests on here...

Cruz86 · 14/10/2021 14:46

@Mummytobe93

I was planning on testing on Saturday but since I’ve got 20 cheap β€œeasy at home” tests I might do one tomorrow morning just for fun πŸ˜‰ xx
I just do it to cure my poas addiction, knowing full well it will be negative at about 5dpo πŸ˜‚
Mummytobe93 · 14/10/2021 14:47

@Danani I know right, I was avoiding masks cause it was giving me acne πŸ₯²
The easy at home tests I bought are apparently sensitive enough to detect at 10 mIU/mL … (these ones www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00DOJWJ3U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_R4CK5D5G7VH2R1F2816C?psc=1&_encoding=UTF8&tag=mumsnetforu03-21 )

I just can’t afford to use CB or FRERS for 5-6 days straight πŸ™ˆ

jadeypies · 14/10/2021 15:02

@Mummytobe93 wear your mask girl! I got my covid and pregnancy bfp on Monday and can confirm it is not the one!!! 🀣

Effram · 14/10/2021 15:21

My internet cheapies have been the most sensitive for me in the past! And Def better for the bank than the frers!

Squiff70 · 14/10/2021 15:26

@Mummytobe93 I'm continuing to wear masks in shops and definitely on public transport for the foreseeable. 40,000 new covis cases a day is no joke but alsorts of winter bugs doing the rounds too. My daughter was on 24 hour oxygen until recently and I'm anxious about her getting bronchiolitis etc.

Aren't you about 8 DPO tomorrow? I'm 8 DPO today and wasted a FRER this morning which was obviously a BIG FAT NEGATIVE so hang in there!

Squiff70 · 14/10/2021 15:28

@Cruz86 the struggle is real Flowers

Shortmamashortcycles · 14/10/2021 15:35

@jadeypies, how are you feeling? Did your PCR come back positive and if so, you doing ok? Have you done another pregnancy test to see progression? (Lots of questions, sorry!)

jadeypies · 14/10/2021 15:45

Hi @Shortmamashortcycles thanks for asking after me... yes unfortunately my pcr did come back positive, I'm on day 4 now and yesterday my fever came down which was the thing I was most worried about with being pregnant.
I've done 2 tests which I've attached and there is some progression! I'm going to do one more tomorrow and then stop testing as last time I was obsessed with poas as I just had this niggly feeling and I lost that pregnancy.
How are you getting on are you in your tww yet?

Lucky October (The Sequel) πŸ€
Mummytobe93 · 14/10/2021 15:47

@Squiff70 yes, 8DPO tomorrow πŸ™ˆ I’m avoiding FRER as it gave me annoying evap line last monthπŸ₯²

@jadeypies Ok I’ll mask up as of tomorrow πŸ˜·πŸ˜‚
