Oh wow look at that line @jadeypies 🀩

Shortmamashortcycles · 14/10/2021 15:56

@jadeypies, amazing progression! You're right to stop testing next week though - just try to think positive and relax as much as possible.

Pleased you're on the mend and I guess if you had to get covid when pregnant, super early is probably better, and it sounds like it's on the milder end... πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I'm only 2DPO so absolutely nothing to report for ages! I should get off Mumsnet!

Mummytobe93 · 14/10/2021 15:59

Great progression @jadeypies 😊

Danani · 14/10/2021 16:00

@jadeypies beautiful BFP huni! Things are looking great! Hope you’re feeling well and Covid free in no time!

Beautiful lines there @jadeypies! Hope you feel better soon!

Missy95 · 14/10/2021 17:16

@jadeypies the line progression is fab! ✨

I also wasted a frer this morning! So now im all out and just having to wait 🀣 orders more from amazon.

Squiff70 · 14/10/2021 17:29

We should make a pact @Missy95, no more testing for us until Monday Smile

Cruz86 · 14/10/2021 17:33

Great lines @jadeypies!

Haha I love your little strikethrough at the end @Missy95

Missy95 · 14/10/2021 17:34

Yes ok, I might manage that 🀣 I think I O late, so my app says 11dpo but I think I might only be 7! Time will tell. Im feeling pretty run down but I work in a school and everyone has the cold! So im trying to dodge it but failing miserably! X
Missy95 · 14/10/2021 17:37

@Cruz86 my OH would go mad if he realised how much I spent on tests every month. Last month I got some cheapies but I was obsessed with poas πŸ˜‚ Its an addiction haha!

Cruz86 · 14/10/2021 17:49

Haha the addiction is real! I've got a box of 20 ready to start testing as soon as I can πŸ˜‚

Squiff70 · 14/10/2021 18:04

I ordered 30 OPKs and 10 HPTs the other day on eBay (One Step). Cheap enough for testing frenzies without breaking the bank (too much).

Why do we do this to ourselves? Hmm

SammiStap · 14/10/2021 18:16

Omg AF hasn’t arrived as of yet πŸ™ˆ it’s partially exciting partially nerve wracking and we are both like omg ha. Must wait until weekend…..

Squiff70 · 14/10/2021 18:20

@SammiStap I know right? My AF is due any time from tomorrow but who the hell knows

It's like a slow form of torture. I'm bloated and my boobs feel bigger (even DH commented last night - charming). Signs of pregnanacy maybe but for me it's like a great big neon sign saying "AF ON WAY".

We will have to spur each other on over the weekend providing AF stays well away!

Cruz86 · 14/10/2021 18:26

Ahh how exciting. We do literally torture ourselves don't we?!

Coco9910 · 14/10/2021 18:46

AF has arrived so that’s me out again for this month 😭 I’m going to get some of the cheaper OPKs for this next cycle, what do people recommend? I’ve been using Boots own brand but at Β£10.99 for 7 and me ovulating late last cycle I’d rather have cheaper ones that I don’t mind doing lots of πŸ˜‚ might look into temping too but I’m clueless! Is there an idiots guide to it anywhere? xx

Squiff70 · 14/10/2021 19:02

Awww @Coco9910 I'm sorry!

Search eBay or Amazin for One Step ovulation strips. They're super cheap and easy to use - you don't need to fork out on a special gadget either.

Best or luck for your next cycle!

Squiff70 · 14/10/2021 19:02

Amazon not Amazin. Bloody autocorrect!

SammiStap · 14/10/2021 19:04

@Coco9910 sorry to hear this. To be honest I used the one step ones from Amazon. They were like Β£4 for 30 plus 5 hpt as well.

@Squiff70 it really is torture! I just keep expecting AF to just come gushing out (sorry! πŸ˜‚) at any moment saying β€˜haha pranked you!’

But in shower a moment ago and hubby said (charming I know) that my nipples looked darker than normal which I agree with and I got like little bumps around d them as well, and they stayed quite hard and big….not really noticed though…..it’s teasing us!!!

I get mine from Poundland, they're just the strip ones but they're 5 for Β£1 :)
Cruz86 · 14/10/2021 19:52

Sorry @Coco9910 πŸ˜” I just got Femometer strip ones from Amazon. Something like 20 opks for Β£6.99 xx

Elsols93 · 14/10/2021 20:00

@Coco9910 here’s the link to mine both have given me my perfectly time OV positives www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303693678973

Wow so much to catch up on!!!

Thank you all so much for being so welcoming. I had an early miscarriage last weekend and honestly you all being so kind and welcoming made me well up a bit earlier. Thank you you lovely lot Flowers

Some lovely news on this thread and really sorry to those of you who have negative tests / AF has arrived. It’s tough for sure.

I’ve read that post-miscarriage you can be more fertile so we are gonna get straight back on it.

A question - when tracking my cycle (which is always 30 days), would I start the first day of the miscarriage as CD1? It was like a very heavy period so I assume so.

Another question - I’d like to try ovulation sticks but no idea which ones to get. I hate peering at lines trying to work out which is darker than another line so would I be better just with the CB ones that give a smiley face?

SammiStap · 14/10/2021 20:15

@BrightThing sorry to hear about mmc. I had one in early July and we got straight back on it a week later. It’s very upsetting and we are all here for you. X

BoyMum18 · 14/10/2021 20:39

I'm feeling so down tonight. Literally been crying all night. I just feel so pregnant and keep getting negatives :( this journey is so emotional.
