@Missy95 no harm in trying I suppose but keep in mind if it WAS implantation bleeding you experienced it probably won't show up on a test just yet. I wouldn't use a FRER though, just a cheapie to begin with.

I nipped into Home Bargains today and picked up some twin packs of pink dye tests for 99p each. Hopefully will settle my POAS addiction for a few more days if the witch doesn't get me first.

I think I’m out as my BBT dropped significantly today 😭13DPO, period due today or tomorrow.
I’m, therefore, not even going to test today😪

But I hope some of you will and there’s some BFP on their way 🍀🤞xxx

I have my fingers crossed AF stays away and you get that BFP! 🤞🏻

10/11 DPO for me. Nothing to report, other than my BBT shot by almost a full degree up so now my app thinks I ovulated at a completely different time 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️What a mess!!!

That’s so bizarre with your temps, I know some people say to change the battery if the thermometer’s readings seems to be off… did you still DTD around the time of the new ovulation date ?

I woke up with such a bad anxiety as well, the weather’s changed, I’ve got headache, it’s not going to be my day🙄

I hope we get some good news on here very soon, I’m buzzing for everyone who’s due to test 🍀🤞xxx

@mummytobe93 hope today improves for you. Also woke upto a headache and feel annoyed already. Just got annoyed at DH just for him playing tick tok vids while I was getting ready. Too much noise haha and the prospect of a whole day in the office but first I'm off to the gym.

Bt dropped again a bit today. Thing is I don't really know what I'm looking at. DH asked if it good when the thermometer beeped and I was just like shrugs idk

AF showed for me, 3 days late. I feel like this was just to give me more hope and now I'm more crushed than I would have been if it had just arrived like it should have. 😔 Dang, this is so hard.

@Squiff70 I didn't bother testing this morning, although I don't appear to have any spotting. Feeling a bit like AF may arrive today but praying it wont! Let me know how you get on with testing if you do :) x

Sorry to hear about your bbt dropping @Mummytobe93 and af arriving @lilrosemarie. I'll be joining you in the November thread because my spotting is getting heavier and more red. Very unusual cycle but there we go!

Your bbt sounds good though @Danani, hopefully you are doing it right and it means a bfp is on its way!

@Mummytobe93 , no you don’t understand, my app thought all of the sudden that I O’d 3 days ago 🤣 it wasn’t just a small adjustment by a couple days or so, it literally had the nerve to move it by a full week!! 😂 anyways, I am ignoring it. I did OPKs so I know when that Peak was… 😑

Batteries are new, as is thermometer, just don’t get it. Like I know my times are not the same each day but really dude, a full degree up and down?! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think I’ll stick to OPKs going forward this is just stressing me out!

I’ll try to stay strong and not test till Fri or even Sat morning. I don’t feel pregnant at all, I think I’ll be joining the Lucky November train soon. 🍀

Atm I just feel like we may never have a baby. It's almost been a full year now of us trying, so I'm pretty over this. 😑😢 Really sick of being disappointed every month over and over again...

@Danani good on you for not giving in and testing. 😉 I was pretty good this month as well, only POAS when I was one day late. It obviously didn't work out, but I'm still proud of myself haha

Going forward I might ditch temping and the OPKs even, but for that I need my DH to be fully committed and ready to follow the SMEP next cycle 😆 I know more or less when I ovulate and how it feels, the OPKs and BBT just feed my obsession 😬

@LittleMysSister exactly! I continued having periods the whole time I was on the implant, so kind of have in my head that I know what my cycles are like etc. But the reality of my body getting back to “normal” cycles post-implant is so different so every time there’s something new I’m like “oh, am I pregnant, or is this just what normal periods are like!?”. So confusing.

Sadly, I think I might be out this month. 12 dpo (ish) and I have light pink spotting and cramps this morning. Apps are saying AF due any time between thurs and sat, so I think she’s letting me know she’s on her way. Darn.

Even though this is my first cycle, it feels like a big deal tbh - you kind of go into this with the mentality that’s been drilled into us since we were teenagers of “you only have to miss contraception ONCE and you could get pregnant” so I think there’s a kind of subconscious expectation that it will all just happen so quickly. Because, you know, most of us have spent years diligently avoiding getting pregnant!! So for me I think this month is a bit of a mental shift of actually accepting that it might not just happen quite as quickly and easily as I had always believed it would. It’s a bit sad to be honest.

I’ll continue my lurking/sporadic appearances and am absolutely rooting for all of you who are still in the game this month!

Sorry to hear about AF showing up @lilrosemarie. I really hope you get your BFP next month. Have you raised this with your doctor at all? I wonder if they can start running tests?

@Mummytobe93 you aren’t out until AF arrives, so keeping my fingers crossed!

I’m due to test on Friday, but I keep thinking ‘well what’s one day earlier’ and really want to test tomorrow, even though I know it’s way too early 😂. I’ve honestly gone from not caring to really needing to know in about a day!

@Firsttimetrier I thought about talking to my gynaecologist about it again ... will see. I've just mentioned it to her a few months ago that we've been trying and she said to continue taking folic acid and that perhaps DH should get semen analysis before I undergo any other tests besides ultrousound and blood tests.

Anyway, we'll most likely take a little break until after Christmas. I mean, we will still DTD but no more counting the days etc. Hopefully I can have a relaxed fall and winter and then maybe go for some tests if nothing happens in the meantime.

@Digby86 I completely agree with everything you’ve said. This was our first month properly trying and it’s definitely a mental transition. I do think they need to change what they teach kids at school as it’s not as simple as they say. Plus, I’d have been way more prepared and accepting that it could take 12 months, maybe more.

@lilrosemarie I hear you! We are on cycle 7 but me and DH agave agreed not to consider any tests until next spring. Just the thought of testing makes me feel more stressed out 😖

@Firsttimetrier completely!! This forum has been eye opening to me, in terms of actually understanding fertility and the ttc process. I’m a 35 year old woman, and it’s blown my mind how little I knew about my own body and how the whole process works in reality! But equally amazing to have a great team of ladies going through the same thing and supporting one another along the way. We’ve got this!! 💪

@digby86 pink spotting at 12 DPO could be IB which typically happens 10-14 DPO so you're not out yet!

Nothing useful to add this morning. I'm 14 DPO and not testing today. Sick of BFNs so just waiting it out instead. AF due today.

@Digby86, you know what I'll say...so I'll just say it. It could be AF on her way, or it could be...implantation. We don't know. I hope it's the latter!!! If AF doesn't come in full force in the next couple of days, maybe you can do a test Fri morning? :)

We've both just turned 29. I'm hopeful we can concieve without any help. But if it doesn't happen by the time we're 30, we'll probably look for help.

Oh yeah, I've just seen your comment about ovulating 3 days ago. What a turn of events that would be 😂😂 yeah I've tested and definitely negative. I just don't get why I'm bleeding in all of this spotting - but not enough for it to be my period! Probably Covid playing games with me 😔

@Danani @Squiff70 thanks 😊 I’ll keep a teeny glimmer of hope alive for now, but have a feeling it’s AF sadly. I’d be surprised if I make it to the weekend without having that confirmed, but if I do then I think I’ll have to test them for my own sanity!!

Danani - are you testing Friday?

Yeah that whole "if you have sex once unprotected you'll get pregnant" thing is annoying. Yes it can happen but it being drilled into you from a young age and then it not being the case when your ready is so frustrating. I constantly worry something is wrong with either my body or my DH even though unlikely to be the case. We will go for tests after 6 cycles. Doesn't help that DH has a spinal injury making it less unlikely and more difficult to dtd but hey ho. It is definitely stressful and disappointing. Like I have convinced myself this month isn't our month but know I'll still be upset when Af or BFN comes
