Hello hope you can find me I'm off to get the list.

OP posts:
mibbes · 30/12/2007 23:01

Thanks for that never, gives me some hope . Am not too despondent yet though as still early days and have definitely had EWCM in the past (just not since ttc - sod's law !) I feel quite positive that if temps suggest no hatching then I can go to the doc and hopefully get something done about it... will continue to bd until TEW arrives as cycles can be 35ish days so maybe just a long one .

Are your cycles long as maybe cramps are an ovulation sign ?

Just to let you all know, I am officially celebrating now! BFP again this morning, and am now bouncing off the walls. Hope the ridiculous run of bfps continues and all you lovely ladies will come support me on an ante natal thread too!

LobstersLass · 31/12/2007 10:57

hopefully I am so pleased for you!

I hope we have the same luck as you did, missus.

fruitloop79 · 31/12/2007 10:58

ah congrats hopefully such good news. I notice we've had a few BFP's on here, I havnt really read through threads but huge congrats to everyone

I got a letter from hospital with my scan date 4th Feb. A bit nervous as its one of those internal probe thingies. I thought it'd be a normal ultrasound like you have when you're pg. Oh well, hopefully I'll get some answers as to why my cycles are so long.

Oh yeah, my friend went for a pregnancy ultrasound and was so overwhelmed she and her man forgot to ask for scan pic. Can they get one still or is it too late?

musicgirl · 31/12/2007 11:28

Hello, just back from holidays. Can someone please update me on the list. Am currently on CD8.

Was hopeful this month as was extremely late but got AF on CD38. Must have ovulated a week late due to xmas stress. Will try again this month, hopefully some of the luck this thread has been experiencing will rub off.

Blimey - it's BFP madness in here

Hooooge congrats to all!!

All good here - has a fab Christmas although now I am peeing pure chocolate DD went mental on Xmas morning - woke at 2.30am, managed to get her to stay in bed until 4, was cooking bacon butties at 6. it was a looong day...

Am now on cd11 and the bd'ing in in full swing. Can't be arsed with the opks as I didn't even get a glimmer of a line last month and it was a pain remembering to pee at a regular time, and reduce fluid intake, etc, etc, etc. The plan is to bd every other day (sometimes every day, dd being at grandmas allowing ) and see what happens. So far the bd'ing has been a lot more fun, but it is still early days in the cycle!!

Anyway, gotta get off my arse and step away from the Quality Street...

Fruitbowl KiddieCare and Dungungirl you lot still there?

fruitloop79 · 31/12/2007 14:31

I forgot to say how confused I am now

My DP and I had a conversation last week about ttc dc2.

We both really want another but he's just said he wants to wait a while so we can enjoy some time together and try and get our finances together. He wants us to go on a nice exotic holiday and try and earn some money doing up and selling our flat and moving again which will be too difficult if I'm preg or with a newborn.
Our DS is now 2.5 so is relatively independant.

He knows how disappointed I'd be if we stop TTC . I suggested just to wait and see as I've got dodgy cycles anyway so could take a couple years anyway but it might happen soon too. It's so difficult cos all my life I've wanted to have lots of babies. I'm not bothered about going on nice holidays and I absolutely HATE doing up houses. I'm just not as ambitious as him. He does understand and hasnt said anything since but it means I cant get excited about ttc with him. I've loved talking to him about it but I feel a little on my own now. I know he'd still be over the moon when I do get preg though. I just dont know what to do.
I know now is not the best time to have another baby but when is?

BabyFever · 31/12/2007 14:48

Just wanted to say congratulations to all the bfp's you lucky things!

Fruitloop - like you say, when is a good time? I've toyed with the idea of waiting for another 6 months to save up a bit and finish off our house a bit more, but then I remember it took my brother and his wife over 2 years to conceive, so I just want to get on with it and hope the rest will fall into place.

MissusHappyNewYear · 31/12/2007 15:07

Hi Fruitloop I reckon that there is never a "perfect" time to have a baby. there will always be something to spend money on, or hols to go on etc etc.

When I was pg with dd (unplanned) we were living in a tiny 1 bed 1st floor flat, money was tight and we had to move when dd was 8 weeks old. We managed, it was fab and I wouldn't have it any other way. Sods law that we are now have space, are a bit better off financialy and are sooo ready for another dc that it ain't happening!!

fruitloop79 · 31/12/2007 15:12

thanks babyfever and missusH just what I was thinking. Maybe I will have a chat with him later or maybe tomorrow as we've gotta go round my mums tonight for new year and could do without the puffy watery eyes!

Happy New Year everyone!

teeheelaydee · 01/01/2008 10:54

Happy New Year everyone.

Haven't posted for ages as had to ban myself from internet in order to actually buy and wrap some xmas presents and do all the other christmassy stuff.

Think I wanted to hide from the ttc marlarky for a couple of weeks. After the mc I put in a pretty poor show in the crucial time iykwim !

Feeling much more positive and ready to get going again. I guess it is the New Year thing. CD5 today if someone wouldn't mind updating me.

Cannot possibly catch up on all posts but congrats to all the BFP's. Hope everyone had a fab festive time.

MissusHoHoHo I'm with you on the peeing on sticks - too much pressure too much hassle. Lots of BD'ng is what has worked in the past so I'm going for that !

GreenGlassGoblin · 01/01/2008 11:21

OMG, such a fantastic lot of BFPs! CONGRATULATIONS to everyone Am personally doing very badly at this TTC thing. Blaming DS (21 months) who still wakes 4-8 times a night, meaning DH and I are never in the mood, in the same bed, or with enough energy to get down to things! It is impossible to get pg on day 20 of a 27 day cycle, isn't it? Bum. Ah well, a whole new year awaits - this will be the year!

ClairePO · 01/01/2008 12:22

Happy New Year! Bring on the January BFP's
