Anyone want to join me?

I’m fairly certain we want to ttc #2, but I need to get my blood sugars under control first - need to get my HBA1C under 50 from 68.

My diet is also pretty crap and could do with improvement.

Would be great to have some virtual buddies so we can encourage each other/share progress!

So first post coil removal period started yesterday, forgot how rubbish they were!!!

I’ve name changed but rejoining!

Still not had any periods since August so Dr is sending me for a scan to check in.

It does me DH and I have thrown caution to the wind and stop using all protection on the off chance something might happen!

AF arrived which I’m glad about as hoping it means my cycle is getting back on track.

What supplements are you all using? I bought the pregnacare but not sure if I should have just gone for big standard folic acid.

Hope it’s not too late to join! Hoping to start ttc #2 but have just had one ovary and tube removed 😞 so need to wait for the all-clear from the consultant. Had to have ovulation meds (metformin) the first time round so have a feeling it will be harder this time.

@pinkpirlie thanks so much for sharing, there's a comfort in knowing I'm not alone (although I wish there was less mental turmoil for both of us!) I regularly hear and read there will never be a perfect time to have a baby and while I do have faith that whatever happens we'd make it work, I do wonder "why does it have to be quite so complicated?!" Haha

My AF started a few days ago, forgot how heavy they are when not on hormonal contraception!!
So CD5 today!!

Hope it's not too late to join - booked to get my implant out this week. Haven't had regular periods for years so worried about tracking!

This will be #2 but my 3yo was a surprise so excited to see what planning brings.

Just going to see what happens initially as I really don't understand all of the ovulation tracking etc and still wondering about whether periods will go back to 'normal' at all!

Wow first 2ww done and I'm pregnant! My first took 7 months so this is a very happy suprise.

I’m just around ovulation now. I Haven’t done OPKs I just know it’s about now and felt very pelvic-y today

How are you ladies all getting on? Any progress?

My blood sugars have been quite good this last couple of weeks. If I can keep it up until the end of Jan, I’m hoping we will be in a position to proceed 🤞🏻

I’m in my TWW, I think 9dpo. I didn’t do any tracking other than the Ovia app so don’t exactly know when I ovulated but in the region of. I doubt I’m pregnant however, only DTD once for various reasons, which was early in my fertile week based on Ovia calculations. I don’t think I have any typical signs of pregnancy either, I remember with my last baby at this stage I had like EWCM at about 7-10dpo which I don’t have, and no implantation pain which I had last time. So not wasting any money on tests, period due Thursday/Friday.
Also I’m isolating until Thursday as I have covid (again) so can’t get out the house to buy any

We're now transitioning to TTC! 🤞I've recently had Covid so my cycle is a bit of a mess. In my last 2 cycles I've ovulated on CD 33 and 34 - today I'm CD 30 and no sign of impending ovulation. I'm hoping it's still coming, just extra late, and our first TTC cycle isn't anovulatory 🙈 I'm going to see an acupuncturist next week to see if they can help me along.

I didn't bargain for being so irregular when coming off HBC! I've had by prolactin and thyroid (TSH) levels checked and both within normal range. Cheering on this month's follicles! 😬 Otherwise I'll likely be waiting until mid-Feb for our next shot. Anyone else in a similar boat?

And @mummyme87 rooting for you in your TWW. I've just got out of isolation, so I know it's no fun!!

AF came before Christmas, was 4 days late so was obvs doing tests left right and centre, got a massive obvious indent on a FRER which was annoying. Anyhow, it came and went. I’m now CD10 again and feel like we have overdone it on DTD the last week 😬 will be too tired for this week 🥴😂 coming off hormonal contraception makes the world of Difference for sex drive!

@mummyme87 I had to google what an indent was, it sounds like a 3 minute emotional rollercoaster 😱 hope you're feeling recovered from the experience and wishing you all the luck and baby dust this month. I've been stunned at how coming off the pill has impacted my libido too 🤭 there's nothing like the festive spirit ey!

Hi all!!! I'm jumping on this bandwagon.

I'm in a same sex couple so waiting for my letter to arrive from the clinic - I've been told they'll contact me within a month so fingers crossed! This will be our first, I'm as excited as I am nervous!

@Alysskea wonderful to have you with us! That's so exciting, I hope your post is good and speedy 📨🏃‍♀️ is the plan for IUI? We're starting TTC our first too and still trying to get my head around what a big step it feels like!

Hi all, do you mind if I join? TTC #2 and unfortunately had a miscarriage on the 30th November. Only dtd once since and my cycle seems to be longer now, so thought I may be pregnant seeing as af hasn't arrived yet! But now starting to get cramps and slightly more spotting so I'm expecting it to be tomorrow. Because of birthdays in the family already (#1 mainly), we now won't be actively trying again until about March. If it happens before that then it happens, but I won't be using opks or anything.

I was obviously already taking folic acid and I'm now also taking vit d, vit b complex, magnesium, vit c and iron. I also need to eat more healthy but I haven't had caffeine for about 6 weeks now because I went off it in my pregnancy!

Anyway, that's a lot of talking 😂 Good luck everyone. 2022 is our year. And congrats to the bfps already!!

I started doing OPKs yesterday and the one I did last night was super dark! Although I don’t think quite positive yet. I’m CD12 today, so would probably expect a peak tonight or tomorrow maybe…

Hi @MummyMe87. Sorry, I've had such a crazy couple of weeks! How did you get on this cycle? I started temping and I have also done my first opk of this cycle, think ovulation is imminent! I'm on cd15 so hopefully won't be waiting too much longer x

@Cruz86 I’m 12dpo and so far all BFN. I think I’m out and AF is due Friday/Saturday hopefully. Exciting when Ov is imminent. Fingers crossed for you this cycle
