@CShandy01 completely agree!🤣 I've been looking back at my daily diary for last month and comparing 🤣🤣 defo had this at 3-5dpo. It honestly looks like snot. Sorry!🤣 but can also be thick but not creamy defo gelatinous!

@CShandy01 are you 9dpo now? How are you holding up? That's the time I start to struggle! So I have a few days of relaxation yet! I read yesterday (can't remember how I came across it!) that Seminal fluid increases the chances of healthy implantation and placental development so we'll be DTD tonight after a weeks break! 😂

@newtolineofduty that sounds like a good plan! 🙂🙂 fingers crossed that we all get our BFP's this month!

I'm feeling alright actually. I mean don't get me wrong, I was on a downer before bed because my cervix had come down low and felt hard (like it did last time before period) but today it shot up in the morning and is slowly coming back down but is softer. So obviously my cervix likes to hide in the morning and say hello at night. Literally only have cramping but I have that every month before AF, and back ache. There is only 1 thing I've had different, and I won't go into detail BECAUSE I AM ABSOLUTELY IN NO WAY SYMPTOM SPOTTING 😂😂

@newtolineofduty @CShandy01 I'm not getting my hopes up otherwise I get away with myself!
What is this non symptom symptom then @CShandy01 and the whole cervix thing is rubbish when you're this early too. Mine was rock hard until 3 days after af was due so don't worry!

@CShandy01 you have to tell us promise we won't tell you off! I'd have absolutely no idea how to tell if my cervix felt different!!!!! When are you going to test?

Evening ladies, looking to join in. Month 8 of TTC for first time. Got my peak Tuesday on CD13, never sure how many days after I peak to DTD 🤔🤔

@newtolineofduty I'm not testing until I know for sure AF is late. So realistically I'm probably due either next Tuesday or Wednesday since I'm not entirely sure when I ovulated. So my idea is if by Thursday AF is a no show, then I'll test. Although I may move it to Friday as it's my day off then...not entirely sure!

Soooo the "symptom" or change I've noticed is that from 5dpo at night I can really REALLY smell myself down below. I mean REEEAAALLYYYY smell. Like it's either an incredibly strong ammonia smell, or just a strong typical vagina smell. I've even smelt something like fish before (TMI I'm so sorry!) but it wasn't the discharge and it's not itchy, nor does it hurt when I pee or burn to touch anywhere. So I ruled out BV or a UTI as it's not all the time, just at night. Even after a shower at night I can still smell myself!

@Aims1991 hello and welcome!! I guess it depends really as everyone is different. What OPK's are you using? If you're using the clear blue pink sticks for the digital ones, I would actually advise using them after you have a positive because you may find that the line gets darker and darker on the test part, so even though it may have detected your surge, you might miss it. Personally I would probably DTD the day I got the positive, the day after and then the day after that (literally the SMEP plan).

@CShandy01 I use easy at home ones and when I get a peak I use CB digital and get a solid smiley face. Last night and today used another easy at home and they were high lines just not peak anymore.

@CShandy01 I promise I'm not just saying this but I had that last month! Not as strong as you I don't think but I felt I smelt all the time!!! Not necessarily from down there, just a general whiff🤣 I even asked my DH and he said it was all in my head as he couldn't smell anything at all but I felt like it was following me so must have been me🤣 this month all I can smell is garlic, like burnt garlic cooking smell. That's prob the remnants of my shit cooking though🤣🤣

I didn't even know that was a sign!! What sign is that? At around 8dpo I felt like my vagina was swollen and thought I had a uti starting but it went by itself.

@Aims1991 hey! Personally, I like to DTD a few days before my peak and then every day once I get my peak. So for me I just DTD every other day since AF finishes and then my two peak days. You defo want to be DTD the same day you get peak and two days after if you can but I'd recommend trying before you're peak too

@hoola23 Yeah defo be telling OH tonight he's getting lucky 🤣 yeah we normally DTD few days before peak too but I've actually not been feeling great last week and trying to put a brave face on 🤣🤣

@Aims1991 it's so hard isn't it!! I used to dread fertile week but me and DH have managed to work out how we can get it done quickly now which helps!🤣 the romance and normal sex can start once TTC is finished! It's hard when you're knackered from work and just want to sleep!

@hoola23 My OH is such a wind up and if I say right let's do it get tries to annoy me saying no then I get annoyed and can't be bothered 🤣🤣🤣 why are men hard work🤣

@Aims1991 they're all hard work! We've been trying for over a year now so he does as he's told. Mainly so we don't have to do it anymore I think🤣🤣 defo a sign of relief once fertile week is done!

@hoola23 my OH says just let me know when and we will DTD we both want the same thing. Then he comes home from work in a mood and is like don't tell me what to do🤣🤣 we are 8/9 months. But first few months I didn't track ovulation so last 4/5 have us trying properly

@Aims1991 @hoola23 honestly man blokes just don't get it 😂 my DH complains that there's no romance so many days in, and then he complains when there is romance because I just wants to get it done! Can't bloody win!

I think if this month isn't successful (still think that's the case just to stop getting my hopes up) I won't go back to using OPK's straight away. It's been really nice just getting to know my own body and fertile symptoms. Might give the SMEP a go as I've read good things about it...although we've sort of done that without it being officially following the plan!

@CShandy01 I don't know if I can give up the opk!! I'm totally down with the not testing early anymore but the opk, I can't let go🤣

@CShandy01 when I was pretty I smelt down there but my partner also smelt it too! 😂

@hoola23 before my BFP with DD in the few days leading up I had bleeding gums and my coffee tasted foul-literally as I imagine wee must taste! An aversion to caffeine is a sign! So given my bleeding gums meant nothing last month I'm only going to think anything if my coffee tastes weird! I'm not testing until AF at least a few days late! Can't face looking at a negative test! X

God the symptom spotting needs to stop!! You guys are ok but I'm only 3dpo!!!🤣

DH asked me if I think I'm pregnant. I actually just laughed and said "haven't a bloody clue!" I have tingling sensations in my nipples the last 3 cycles, I've had cramps, back ache, nausea, you name it! Also had dizziness from sitting to standing as well. All ended in AF showing. So I genuinely do not know what to expect, hence why I just assume the worst because I can only be happy or accepting.

I knew about the smells and taste thing, like it's supposed to be a sort of Mother Nature taking over and putting you off things that could be harmful....although for the first 6 weeks when I was pregnant with DD I craved red wine 😬😅 then came the morning sickness for about 10 weeks. Ugh. Don't miss that.

@newtolineofduty haha yes 😂 Inositol is great for PCOS and irregular cycles! I suddenly got lots of EWCM today so told DH to clear the diary for the evening haha (TMI!)

Cycle day 7 here and I'm gutted as I get closer to AF due date! I tend to assume I'm out of my coffee is tasting normal at 10dpo! X
