Just on way home from my early scan. It's went so well. As soon as the sonographer put the wand on my tummy she saw the sack in the womb and immediately commented on a strong heartbeat. She dated me at 7W1D which is what I thought I was so really happy about that.

Roll on the next 5weeks for my first trimester scan🥳🥳.

How are you all doing? Well done for holding off testing. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for BFPs and sticky beans

Thank you! Yes, we went private. I'm having a few symptoms-my boobs have doubled, light nausea, tiredness during the day and as at this morning constipation but reading some other ladies symptoms I really can't complain.

It was amazing! Now just need to stop myself from turning scanning into a fortnightly activity. I'm just so excited to see it (though based on nothing convinced she's a girl. Though I also thought I was having twins 🤣) grow and come into its facial features.

I was convinced DD was a boy. I would have bet money on it. Everyone else said it was a girl because I had morning sickness...turns out they were right 😂😂

I was just looking at her 12 week and 20 week scan photos. It's crazy how long ago that is now...it just goes in the blink of an eye. And each milestone it's always "gosh I can't wait for her to do this" and then she does it and you wish you had her back as a baby!

@CShandy01 I was exactly the same! I was CERTAIN DD was a boy! Just a gut instinct! We had chosen a name and everything! When we found out it was a girl it took me ages to get my head around it!!!! X

I can't wait to have a scan! Hopefully I make it that far! My gut is currently telling me boy, have felt that way since I found out but that could just be because DH wants a boy so badly!!

Had a bit of a tricky day today! Went to meet up with a friend whose lives abroad for 6 years but has come home for a couple weeks as her boyfriend ended their relationship. It was so hard seeing her upset and the reason they broke up was due to him not wanting kids. (Changed his mind) but there's a lot more red flags anyway. so as much as I wanted to tell her I couldn't! She's obvs upset that all her friends are married and or having kids and now she's single. She even asked me outright and I still said no and now I feel awful for lying but I just didn't want to make her feel any worse! Feel like a crap friend now!

@hoola23 it's a REALLY tough situation to be in-don't beat yourself up hun. I have a couple of friends who I'd feel anxious to tell if I was pregnant for very similar reasons! It just happens at our age hun unfortunately xxx

@newtolineofduty it really is! It was just clearly not the right time! I've got more spotting again today! But not proper blood or anything just blood tinged CM but defo redy pink rather than brown. Zero pain though so I guess that's all I can hold onto for now. Apparently if you're before 6 weeks they won't scan you as they won't be able to see anything? Just have to wait and see. Going to ring the docs tomo anyway to refer to community midwife so will speak to them

@hoola23 I had bleeding from 6-9 weeks and that was browny/dark red. I saw the early pregnancy unit at 6 weeks. My friend had a scan at 5 weeks to check her pregnancy wasnt ectopic (she had a lot of pain) but all they can check at that point is that the sac is in the right place xx

I still haven't tested but I have some lower back ache and intermittent abdominal pain so if I got a positive (which my instinct is telling me I would!) I'd be feeling anxious something was wrong! I know rationally though it'd just be implantation or maybe AF on the way!

Decided I'm going to take afew pregnancy tests away with us, of different brands!!!! Going to test Monday or Tuesday night! X

Shall we make a pact to test on Tuesday if no period has appeared @newtolineofduty ?? I was going to do it tomorrow morning but could wait a bit longer!

@newtolineofduty was that continuous bleeding? Yeah I know they would just tell me to wait and see so there's no point going to check it out! It just makes you worry so much! What will be will be and I am realistic about it all. I'd just rather know now, same as when we're waiting to test! Pregnancy is just a lotttttt of waiting around isn't it🤣 mine is only very slight, it's not when I wipe and if I hadn't checked up there I wouldn't have known!

Omg I am so hopeful for you!!! I had serious backache the days before I tested. Like my back was totally out! Eeeeek let us know asap! Hope you're having the best time away! X

@hoola23 honestly I wouldn't worry. Unless you are really bleeding like a period it's probably nothing. I never ever checked my cervix or anything (too squeamish!) so when I was pregnant I wouldn't have even had any idea if there was blood up there or not.

@hoola23 we go tomo hun! My bleeding was when I wiped but I wore a pad and there was bits too. Turned out she was just burying in making herself at home!!!

@MrsRosaline ok Tuesday sounds good-I'd like to do it in the evening though rather than first thing when my daughter is up with us! Just give us time to process/enjoy a positive or have a strop about a negative! How are you feeling? I'm tough as anything but I felt like that last month! Only new thing is bleeding gums! X

@hoola23 @MrsRosaline I now have some brown stained mucus along with back ache so I'm starting to think I'm out! I've just been for a wee but think I need to test ASAP to put me out of my misery! I'll try and hold and do on my next wee or at least first thing tomorrow x

@hoola23 I think I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning hun otherwise if it's negative not sure I'll have 100% confidence in it and then I'll just be torturing myself longer! I keep needing a wee too so can't even try and do a long hold!

Just packing for the holiday to try and distract myself! X
