@Catconfusion she's above the 95th percentile currently. Got another growth scan in 4 weeks now! It is very exciting. Busy trying to complete my day job responsibilities before stopping just before Christmas.

Sorry @DOB78 you're out this month. It's always frustrating when that happens. I hope the next month comes along quick for you. Although you never know as I first conceived in a month we only DTD once (and in my opinion was a few days too late). That ended in a chemical pregnancy in January but gave me hope to keep trying x

@Littlemiss41andfabulous sounds similar to my son. We bought mainly 0-3 months clothes which was a mistake. I’d recommend getting some newborn (check up to 10lbs) and some 0-1 months. They often lose a bit of weight after birth so it’s good to have smaller things. Just thought I’d mention it as DH has to do a mad supermarket dash during lockdown as our clothes were too big. It’s the one thing I wish I’d preempted. Xx

Random question....has anyone taken pregnenolone? We've ordered some in case we have trouble getting progesterone prescribed

This could be a game changer for those wanting to try progesterone. NICE guidelines now recommend it after mc and if bleeding in early pregnancy is an issue.

@Catconfusion ooh that's interesting I'll have to see if my gp will prescribe! I've no idea if I have any cp as I don't test early 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I know I've had mc's

@Marvellouslymadmum it’s worth giving it a go. Especially since NICE guidelines now suggest it if you’ve had miscarriages.

Thank you. Recently had mirena taken out. It won't be an easy journey as a be had recurrent miscarriages in the past lucky enough to have 3 boys (last two was with progesterone for the first 18 weeks x

@Catconfusion cd34 still no ovulation 🤦🏼‍♀️ every time I get the Lh rise I get excited we've been dtd at least every other day sometimes every day, and then o get no temp rise! I've had ovary twinges a couple of times throughout just for a few second here and there but last night got some really strong ones on and of for about an hour and today had them on and off all day, they're so strong they make me gasp sometimes, had a little in the left but mainly right. Starting to lose hope and think it may just be no ovulation for me this month though xx

@Marvellouslymadmum I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s so frustrating. Also horrible the Clomid isn’t working as it should. When is the latest you’ve ovulated? I think I did cd36 before but no later. Maybe it’ll just happen. I’ve also had AF spontaneously start at cd 42 with no ovulation despite a temp rise on cd38. I’ve been told the follicle ruptured but the egg didn’t release properly so I got a slight progesterone rise and then AF came a few days later. It’s so confusing having an ovulatatory disorder. You just want to be normal. I know people with normal cycles have troubles conceiving too but it adds an extra layer of stress because you don’t know when. I’ll keep everything crossed it happens soon. I conceived my ds on cd 34 so it can happen late. Xx

@Catconfusion I think the latest has been around cd36-38 and I'm hoping those twinges were the ovaries getting ready, high Lh again today so 🤞🏻🤞🏻 it will actually happen the next couple of days - we are worn out 😂 every day I wake up and get cross with my temperature lol xx

@Marvellouslymadmum I feel your frustration I get super annoyed too so fingers crossed for you - I don't know about you ladies but sometimes when we are dtd every day or every other day I'm even annoyed with that cos it's not like I'm feeling hot to trot every day it's a tick box exercise some days for sure 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Gemandi2 it's frustrating enough on a normal month when it's long like this but I'm on clomid tablets at the moment so I thought it would be different! We've dtd about 20-24 times this cycle so far 🙄 it's not always easy to be 'in the mood'

@Catconfusion thankyou again for posting the article about progesterone I'm just arguing with my GP about getting it prescribed now and not once pregnant and bleeding starts.......
@Marvellouslymadmum I'm sorry to hear you sound like you're having a difficult time. What are you prescribed Clomid for? Apologies for my naivety this journey has been a real eye opener

Guidance seems to say progesterone won't be prescribed unless pregnancy is confirmed by scan and heartbeat detected......

@DOB78 I read that too so until you get to approx week 7 and a heartbeat is detected they still won't prescribe - surely if you have had several miscarriages and early bleeding before (like many of us have) that should be an auto prescription - we know it's not magic but it may help a good proportion of pregnancies - problem is you don't always easily get a scan so early on unless you go private 🤦🏼‍♀️ I guess it's one step in right direction but still gives us hurdles to jump

It’s so weird that that’s the guidance when women need it early to prevent problems.

I guess the good news is it’s on the radar of GPs so hopefully they will se sense and prescribe earlier. Xx

@Gemandi2 @Catconfusion it's better but still not great. GP won't prescribe at all so it's either wait till BFP and hope BEP Unit will prescribe as they agreed after last CP or we try Pregnenolone hoping that works. Little deflated.....

Totally agree @DOB78 I don't know what pregnolene is sorry - but if I do get a BFP I will be keeping everything crossed and hoping to get something as I've always bled with every pregnancy from about 4 or 5 weeks and I've had several MC's so i and am sure many of us will be looking for common sense xx

Quick question. I've started folic acid and vitamin D. But googling my dose I came across a few articles that say men should take it too,

Does anyones DH/OH take it?

@Gemandi2 Sorry you've had these experiences.
My 2 pregnancies in my 20s were great no issues getting or staying pregnant. Obviously I expected difficulties in my 40s but not what we've been through, although I'm grateful things could be so much worse.
We we're googling progesterone as you do😄 and pregnenolone came up, I think it's a precursor for progesterone so may help us. I'd try anything at this point.
