I'm 7DPO today (I think) and driving myself mad with symptom spotting....

Is anyone else in the same boat?

@primrosee thanks. I'm not hopeful because I got some pretty strong evaps on FRER's last month and feel like this is going to be the same tbh. I've seen a lot of bad things about them recently. I just had a packet left over from last month so I thought I might as well give them a go. Will see how it goes 😬

I'm getting a bit worried as I'm having shoulder pain today... hoping I just slept funny!!!

I find the answer one step ones are very good, think they are 10mul and the clear and simple though they are 20mul, but I've never had a problem with either of those tests.

@chasingtherainbow1, your both tests look very similar, although you are extremely very early and may have implanted later this cycle, and as you say they were both within 12 hours..

@Charl881 I got hold of some first response rapid result so I'll either take one tonight or tomorrow! It says to take from the first day of your missed period, but tomorrow will be the day before I'm due so I think it'll be pretty accurate?! X

@line123eyesalways, the FRRR can also be used 5 days prior to AF, good luck with your next testing. X 🤞

@line123eyesalways if it's rapid response then they're not the 6 days early ones. How many dpo are you now?

@chasingtherainbow1, maybe wait a few days and try a different brand, aswell as the frer if you have any left over, how many dpo are you now. X

@line123eyesalways, sorry but personally i cant see anything on your tests, but as @chasingtherainbow1 has said the sensitivity is higher on them, which i wasn't aware of sorry. But give it another few days and retest if AF doesn't show. X

@chasingtherainbow1 I'm 12/13DPO. AF isn't due til Thursday so it may be too early?! I don't know haha. Given up all hope this month now I think!

@line123eyesalways I'm sorry you haven't got your BFP yet. I think my lines were indents as today's test is a lot fainter. Still only 10dpo though so I'll keep the hope alive that it might be yet to come. Still can't get over how bad FRER are for indents. They're worse than cheap brands!

What's weird though is that I dipped one in water and there's no line. There must be one thing in pee that sets it off on the early response ones!

So I took an FRRR out the pack and took a picture of it before I used it... can you see the indent!!

@line123eyesalways yeah I can see that. It's really bad, they never used to be like this. I'm glad I experienced it last month and kinda didn't believe them this month!

AF has arrived! 😭

@line123eyesalways oh no sorry to hear that! I know it’s not much consolation but at least you know. The agonising over tests is just the worst. I’ve promised myself that this month I’m not testing until 12dpo (if we decide to try this month) as honestly it’s messing with my head testing early, I’ve felt so much better since AF has been here just because there is no uncertainty. How many cycles have you been trying for now?

@chasingtherainbow1 how are you doing today? I can’t believe those FRER indents, that’s another thing that’s putting me off testing early in future!

The two times I’ve been pregnant I’ve also got a really clear pink line on FRERs, no indents, but that wasn’t testing early.

@Charl881 yeah onto a new month! I'm not going to think about it at all! It's draining haha. I've only been trying for 3 months so not long at all! What about you? I think I may wait til after Christmas as well, just makes the last few months so much less stressful!

@line123eyesalways, so sorry AF arrived, it breaks your heart that we bit more every month, but onto a new cycle and fingers crossed for this one.
I can see the indent in that test, that is absolutely shocking, how they can get away with selling them, dashing peoples hopes every month while they rack in the dollars 🤬. X

@chasingtherainbow1, how are you doing, have you tried a differnt brand of test, or are you going to leave it to see if AF arrives.

@Charl881 I wasn't going to test early but I really wanted to know before my consultation on Friday because I had to confirm attendance today 🙄 I think I've got it in my head that I'm probably not pregnant this month and I'm ok with it. Will be 2 months before we can try again now but it will be a new year and a new start! Yeah I've always sworn by FRERs, they've really let me down!

@Mamastarz no I've not tried another brand I might just wait for AF now.

Looks like we'll all be taking a break then. Will have to let me know how you're all getting on!

So AF hasn't arrived... I had the smallest bit of pink blood and cramps earlier and since then I've had nothing!

I'm guessing that was the start and it'll arrive in the morning but I've never had that before! X

@line123eyesalways, that is a strange one, hopefuly it may be a good sign..as spotting can happen in and around when AF would be typically due. X 🤞

@Mamastarz it's so strange! I had a few cramps (nothing like my normal intense ones) and then the spotting. Two wipes and it was gone! I've had a bad lower back ache tonight too, a lot of pressure! I've convinced myself it's AF but there's a slight niggle in my head that's making me think it's not. I'm around 13DPO so I would have thought I'd have got a positive by now if I was pregnant? X
