I'm 7DPO today (I think) and driving myself mad with symptom spotting....

Is anyone else in the same boat?

Well I'm not sure if my cycle is going to be shorter this month seen as I ovulated earlier. They've been a bit all over the place since the mmc. So if I go by the length of last months, af isn't due until 23 October but that would make me 21DPO! I have my video appointment on the 15 October so I'll definitely test before then just in case. Maybe I'll do it at 10DPO which is a couple of days before.

@chasingtherainbow1 I know I am mathematically but I just don’t feel pregnant this month 🙈 I’ve got some FRERs arriving today. Away at my parents Sunday and Monday so I’ll test tomorrow but then not until Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning, by then AF should have arrived.

It’s a long old slog this isn’t it!

@chasingtherainbow1 I say this but I'm definitely going to end up testing soon, I know it 😂. The cramps are so weird, I've never had them this early I don't think (I'm sure I say this about every symptom each month hahah). They're so mild! Enough to notice them but I wouldn't say they're painful in any way!

@Charl881 yeah I know what you mean. I think in previous pregnancies all I had were sore boobs which is normal anyway for me and then a couple of days after my BFP I got period like cramps for a while. No other symptoms. I wish there was a symptom that you only got when pregnant. It's annoying that AF and pregnancy symptoms are so similar. It is a long slog!

@line123eyesalways hmm maybe it could be your lucky month. I don't think I've ever experienced cramping before period so I'm not too sure what it could mean. Fingers crossed 🤞

I'm only 5/6DPO. But like I said, I ovulated a lot earlier this month so my cycle might be shorter. I think they've been longer due to my body trying to get back into gear.

Wish they'd hurry up and develop a test that could tell if you were pregnant right after conception 😂

literally have been avoiding this thread, promised myself ill wait for someone to get a bfp 1st before i pop back on just for a bit of hope. cant believe its at 36 pages yet and no sticky yet as far aa im aware. hopefully october will be the month!

im currently 10dpo havent tested at all yet. due af or bfp (hopefully) on the 12th oct. il prob test when im 12dpo. no real symptoms to speak of, normal cramping during this time nothing else. i was so sure a month or two ago i could have sworn i was pregnant but wasnt so im not even going to get my hopes up about any symptoms. hows everyone??

@chasingtherainbow1 it could be! I'm not getting my hopes up, but I do feel a bit 'different' this cycle. I'm probably overthinking things!

I'm doing well! 8DPO and getting a few mild cramps and a bit of back ache, sore boobs as usual! How are you doing?

@line123eyesalways back ache sounds good along with cramping. i so hope this month is bfp galore. im ok just a bit worried altho i shouldnt be. its never taalen me this long to get preg. always on first month trying. maybe its my old age i just really hope its not because of the covid jab which messed up my cycles a bit

@MadamMaltesers it does sound promising! I need to start writing down my symptoms each month so I can remember what I had the previous month!

It could well be the covid jab! I've heard quite a few people have had longer cycles due to that! X

Please will someone explain to me (I'm struggling to understand) - why if you can test 10po why people wait until 15do for example - or waiting until their missed pregnancy.

I have another BFN today at 10po and clinging onto any hope. I feel pregnant, but this feeling is most likely just wanting to be pregnant very much!

@Nailingnow hey! So implantation can happen any day between 5-11DPO, so at 10DPO you may not have implanted yet, and if you have there may not be enough HCG to detect the pregnancy, which is why it's best to wait until at least 12DPO (not that I do myself haha!)

You're not out until AF shows, so it may be that you've just implanted and your body needs to build up the HCG to show on a test! X

@MadamMaltesers Good to hear from you!! Let’s hope that this month is a bumper month for BFPs on this thread. I’m 9dpo today but AF is due on Monday so hopefully I find out one way or the other soon, but not feeling it this month. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

I've just walked straight past the health aisle and avoiding picking up a test! If I had them I'd be testing now haha! Kind of proud of myself 😂

@line123eyesalways well done!! My local shop only does expensive clear blue so I’m never tempted to buy them, I order online and at least I then have to wait for delivery!

@MadamMaltesers well done on holding out that long! I'm always tempted once I get to 8DPO lol. I've also heard that about the covid jabs.

@line123eyesalways I tend to log my symptoms on the Flo app so I can refer back to them the month after. Well done for not caving and buying a test!

@Charl881 oh I wouldn't be tempted either! This one had 99p ones. Was very tempted but walked straight past 😂

@chasingtherainbow1 do you do the paid subscription for Flo or just the normal one? I use the 'Glow' app at the moment!

@line123eyesalways just the normal one. I find it quite handy and when my cycles are regular, it seems to predict my ovulation quite well.

@chasingtherainbow1 I think I'll use that one too.. you can never have too many fertility apps.. 😂😂

I’ve just started using one called Ovia which I like!
