I'm 7DPO today (I think) and driving myself mad with symptom spotting....

Is anyone else in the same boat?

@line123eyesalways yeah last month I didn't opk's just to see what was happening and I peaked on CD20. But had ewcm this month on CD12 and a peak opk on CD 13. God knows what's happening. I feel like the last couple of months might have been thrown because of the miscarriage. I might do some more opk's in a couple of days just to see if I peak again around CD20.

Ive just bought a load of cheap crap tests this month because they aren't very sensitive and will make me wait until AF due 😂

So looks like I am out. ☹️ AF has arrived I think. Gutted. Onwards and upwards. This is the pain of irregular cycles. I am using OPK but I seem to have a v short Luteal phase (I'm only 9DPO and 10 days since peak Clearblue OPK result). Oh well always next month.

@chasingtherainbow1 it must be confusing for you! Good idea with the OPKs just to see what's going on! Haha I think I need to do the same with the cheap tests!

@line123eyesalways it really is. Might do an opk for the next few days to check if I have another peak. I think I definitely ovulated over the weekend though because my boobs have started aching again and this tends to happen straight after ovulation.

@Baileysmum220118 sorry to hear you're out this month. But today is a new cycle for you and new opportunities!

@chasingtherainbow1 I always get sore boobs after ovulation too, which started a few days ago! So I may have ovulated, I really don't know.

Feeling a bit queasy today, I don't think that's TTC related though! Xx

@line123eyesalways I always get sore boobs after ovulation now as well, it’s a really annoying sign! I’m 7/8dpo today. Finding it hard to resist the urge to test this month. I know I don’t have long to wait but the closer it gets the harder it gets, I just want to know.

@Charl881 I know!! Just think the longer you leave it the more accurate it will be, and that you haven't just wee'd on a fiver for no reason 😂.

I reckon I’ll test from tomorrow 🙈 But I’m not testing Sunday or Monday as at my mum and dad’s so will be good to have an idea before then, and then I’ll have to wait until after!

I've just done another opk as I'm CD17 today and I ovulated CD20 last month. They seem to be getting darker again. How does this even work? I'm so confused. Can you ovulate twice in one month?

The top one in the pic was my peak at CD13 and then they went really faint again. And the bottom test is today so it looks like I might get another peak in a few days time. Unless the first one wasn't quite positive. Still strange though 🤷🏻‍♀️

But my boobs are sore and have been since CD 14 so I'm guessing I have ovulated. Looking back at my app for the previous months, my boobs have only ever hurt after ovulation.

@chasingtherainbow1 that's so strange! Definitely keep testing to see what happens!

@Charl881 oh that's exciting though! What tests do you have? FRERs? X

@chasingtherainbow1 I could be wrong, but I think the OPKs just tell you if you’re getting an LH surge. You could get an LH surge as your body prepares for ovulation, but it doesn’t happen for whatever reason, so it tries again a few days later and you’d get a second surge.

A couple of cycles ago (when I joined this thread!) I got two lots of EWCM about a week apart and I’m sure that’s what had happened, I was then a week late which tallied up with the second lot of EWCM so it must have been delayed ovulation. I wasn’t doing OPKs then though so not sure what they would have done!

@Charl881 just been doing some reading on it and it says it could be exactly what you said. Maybe I didn't ovulate the first time. I'll keep testing and see what happens!

I'm just looking back at my previous pregnancies and it looks like I would have ovulated around CD14 for those as I got a positive test about 10 days after. I think the last mc has messed with my ovulation and maybe it's just trying to get back to normal

So I'm getting some mild period cramps now... is this normal for 6DPO?! I don't think I've had them this early before!!

@line123eyesalways with previous pregnancies I've had bad period cramps but not until about 4 and half weeks. I felt like I was getting them yesterday but not had anything since.

Could potentially be implantation? Any other symptoms?

@chasingtherainbow1 they're very mild, but definitely there.

My boobs are tender but this isn't unusual, and I've also had heartburn... but that's most probably the food I've eaten as it'd be way too early to get that yet! X

@line123eyesalways hmm will be interesting to see how that develops! My boobs are always tender too. After being on the pill most of my adult life, I forgot how painful they got throughout my cycle!

I have one very sore boob 😂 Weirdly I never got sore boobs as a PMS symptom before having my DS, but now they basically go sore as soon as I ovulate until AF arrives. One is more sore than usual this month though, obviously I’m classing that as a sign 😂

@Charl881 usually one of mine gets sore before the other. They're both quite tender atm. Feel like a teenager again with achy boobs, thought I'd left those days behind. I've also gotten spotty again since coming off the pill which is annoying.

I'm hoping if I get another LH surge, my boobs don't get double the pain!

@line123eyesalways just continuing to do opk's to hopefully understand my positive results more. Going to do one in 5 mins and see if it's darker than yesterday's again

This month is going to be my last chance until the new year though as I have been given an appointment to have an nk cells biopsy. They have to do a biopsy next month and the one after to see if my percentage is too high. I've been wondering whether to go ahead with it as it could be a complete waste of time if it comes back normal but I only referred to them 2 weeks ago so it seems silly to waste this opportunity because the waiting list is usually quite long. So hoping we managed this month but I'm not sure!

@chasingtherainbow1 good that you’ve made a decision, I bet it was a tough one! It might actually be good to have a couple of months where you can’t actively try, give your mental health a break.

I did a test today, BFN but only 8dpo so not surprised. I feel like I have absolutely zero signs though so I don’t have high hopes this month, as always just keen to know so I can get onto the next cycle.

@chasingtherainbow1 was it darker? I'm glad you've made the decision too, at least you'll get more of an idea what's going on if this isn't your lucky month!

I've had a few more aches/twinges today, more in my lower abdomen, feeling really exhausted too! 7DPO today so halfway through the TWW!

@Charl881 your definitely still in if you're only 9DPO today! @line123eyesalways are you waiting for AF this month before testing? I think I'm about 6DPO today. Like you said @Charl881 i just want to know now so I can move on!

yeah I thought I might as well have it done. I'm not sure it will help my mental health though, probs make me worse 😂 just want to get it over and done with because I think to procedure is going to feel similar to when I had to surgical management.

The opk was the same colour and just done another this morning and it's not got darker or lighter so maybe that's just my standard for this time of my cycle.

@chasingtherainbow1 going to try and wait for AF! I'm 8DPO today (6 days before AF is due) and I'm having very mild cramps still! Really mild though! I've also got a lot of CM, more so than usual I think!

At least you'll be one step closer to an answer! Are you going to test early or wait for AF? X
