I'm 7DPO today (I think) and driving myself mad with symptom spotting....

Is anyone else in the same boat?

Hi all, sorry to jump back on, but I thought I'd take a test before going back on the pill to rule it out (and I've been on AF since Sunday) and found this...

When was your last negative test before that if you don’t mind me asking? I’m on CD31 now and got a BFN again this morning. Period has never been this late. I’m pretty sure it’s just because I ovulated late but this has given me hope!

@charl881 Thank you! I'm assuming so, I didn't bleed at all with my first so I'm a little taken aback by it! I was convinced it was a period, but something felt different.
So AF was due thursday so I tested Friday when it didnt arrive, it was BFN. Started spotting (brown) on Saturday, but that was it, then Sunday it seemed AF arrived so I didn't test again. Tested this morning as I thought I would go back on the pill while we took a break, and I'm sure it was like my 3rd wee of the day too, and I was gobsmacked!! I must be 15 dpo today? But I wasn't 100% sure when I ovulated. I'm still bleeding now, I'm hoping it's an implant bleed, different websites tell you different things, so I'm gonna test again when I go home at lunch - I somehow feel it's not real!

That’s amazing!! I’m so happy for you. I think I tested for about three weeks in a row after getting my BFP with my DS because I just didn’t believe it. Once I had a clear blue digital saying 3+ weeks it sunk in more.

I definitely think I ovulated late - I should be 15 dpo as well today so I would have a BFP by now. But I had a second lot of EWCM a couple of days after that so I think I might only be 11 dpo. Annoyingly we didn’t DTD around the second time though (as I was too tired 🙈) so I think it’s just that AF is late because of late OV rather than late because I’m pregnant and not yet having a BFP.

I’m so glad that at least one person on their thread has got their BFP!

@charl881 thank you 😊 just did a clear blue too and that showed positive. I'll wait a couple of days before doing the digital one I think cause these aren't as strong as they were with DD pregnancy.
I still can't believe it, considering I thought I was on my period!

@line123eyesalways thank you! it started with brown spotting on the saturday which made me think it was implantation bleed. But then it seemed like a proper AF from Sunday, it's just lighter I guess. But I wouldn't really have thought much of it. But I haven't had any usual period cramps, just a bit achey round my hips so I guess those are further clues 😂

@MamaSJ15 that’s amazing! This has cheered me up a lot. Must have felt so good to see it confirmed on the clear blue.

@MamaSJ15 I remember that from when I was pregnant with my son, kept on doing tests to make sure it was real, sounds like implantation that you're having. X

I’m finally out. AF has finally arrived on CD32. Given that my last cycle was 24 days that’s quite a difference! But so relieved the waiting and testing can stop. Just need to decide whether to try again next month or take a break!

@Lauraliverpool really? I've never come across anyone personally who has had it I don't think. Although, maybe I just hadn't thought to ask, I didn't get it with DD pregnancy.
I took another test this morning and I think the line is a bit lighter than yesterdays so I'm concerned it's going the wrong way now. But I'll test a few more times to keep an eye on I think.

@MamaSJ15 they say some get implantation, some don't. Testing when you've had a lot to drink will make the wee more concentrated. HCG doubles every 48hrs. I have everything crossed for you ♥

Okay so, the progression is going backwards, I think it's a chemical...
Top one was yesterday morning, middle was this morning and top was tonight...

@MamaSJ15 I'm really hoping that it works out for you ♥ I'm OK thanks, been keeping busy organising my mums birthday and just going to try and not stress / over think about trying, ditching the ovulation tests and the day 21 projesterone test too. Xx

Thank you @Lauraliverpool test was lighter again today and as we had just had a discussion about putting it on hold for a bit I think we'll still do that.
That sounds like a good plan. We had a relaxed cycle and it proves that it helps. I'm probably heading off these threads now but I'd love to hear how your cycle goes so please drop me a message. I'll still be on Mumsnet because I have a little DD too 😊 ❤️ good luck! X

@MamaSJ15 i was just reading through the messages to catch up, firstly congrats and i hope that it still progresses. This ttc malarky is draining, its good to take a break when you feel that you need one. Take care of yourself x
