August TTC

Hi Ladies

Thought I would create a channel for July / August TTC for those who didn't receive their BFP's this time around

I'm on CD2 now after sadly AF arriving. TTC no1 at 32 and this will be Cycle 4

I'm currently isolating with Covid after having 1 jab (which really messed with cycle 2 and 3) expecting DH to test positive v soon!

So sorry if I miss anyone or if you haven't got your AF yet or had a BFP ! But wanted to capture a few people as I've found these channels super helpful!

AF has arrived this morning 5 days late so that was disappointing (and ridiculously painful!)
Been TTC since may 2020 and after driving myself mad, I had managed to relax and just see if it happens but I think this false start this month will have me obsessing all over again!

Thank you!! So in my local area you ring as soon as you get a positive test and they book you in for the booking in appointment for when you're between 8-10 weeks.

Google your local hospital and see what they say?

It absolutely has!! At least I have an excuse now for being a bit ditsy 😂

@Itsjustme20 congratulations! Definitely an unusual story, but that digital seems fairly conclusive!

No haven't spoken to the GP yet, I have 2 DS so just assumed it would happen eventually and then decided to relax and stop stressing over it hoping that would help. Might try a couple more cycles and then go through GP if no luck

I've had 8 high fertility days now on my Clearblue advance OPKs and I've only got 3 tests left 😬

(TMI) I had water discharge yesterday and EWCM the day before so hopefully means it will happen before my tests run out!

Hi all - hope you don’t mind me jumping in.
Hubs & I after 10 years of being together have finally decided to try! We’re currently on our 3rd month 🤞🏻
I typically have super irregular periods but since trying, I’ve been like clockwork. I’m due in 10 days. Trying not to fixate too much but I’m terribly excited & nervous at the same time 🙈😂
Don’t know if I should start testing a few days before or wait until I’m due 🤔

Hey girls, so I'm not meant to be tracking this cycle, but on Sunday woke up with awful let side back pain i took a test just to check and got a smiley face dtd and now since 2dpo i have had sharp pulling pain in my left of lower back/side also getting some twinches in my abdomen also last night was fast asleep then woke up shivering like i was frozen and couldn't warn up for a good 15/20 minutes, was so bizarre, im roughly 4dpo today, any one else had sharp back pain and lead to BFP before? xx

@LeeTTCRainbow with my CP I had pain in my coccyx but I already have an injury there from labour with my DD.
Also after my 1off night sweat 6 days ago I got down a rabbit hole on google and read somewhere that the egg and sperm meeting can cause a change in temperature due to the hypothalamus responding to this. (Absolutely no evidence behind this but thought it was interesting as never heard that before) x

@mummytoolive oh really, was so bizarre couldnt stop shivering and shaking my fiance even woke up asking if i was ok then after i fell back to sleep but felt hot again and had to put the fan on and dozed off. for my mmc pregnancy i had hot flushes which is what made me take a test day before AF was due but not had sudden shivers before. x

I'm 30, TTC first baby, on CD2 of cycle 6 trying.

I've been reading through this thread and i can identify with so many of the comments. I too have been feeling some regret at not starting TTC during lockdown last year. I also have been struggling as my best friend has just got pregnant on the first try.

They look positive to me I'll be honest! Maybe wait 48 hours and test again Saturday morning?

Hi Ladies.. My DH and I are TTC for the past several months.. Here are my symptoms.. Can anyone pls tell me if I have a chance this Aug..
1 DPO-Nothing
2 DPO - Nothing but sore full heavy boobs
3 DPO - Same as before
4-6 DPO- Frequent visits to restrooms to empty the bladder and bowel movements avg of 3 times a day which is super abnormal to me as I am always a constipated girl. Feel bloated as if my stomach is full though it’s empty with BM.
7-8DPO - Stomach cramps, pinching pain around the belly button mostly left side though and in vagina as well, BM and urination as before. Light spotting, Egg white discharge, mild dizziness, weird vivid dreams, trips to toilet in the night disturbing sleep
10 DPO - Decided to bite the bullet. It was BFN.. Yet Mild spotting, BM and stomach cramps and pinching pain in vagina continue.

Anybody with these symptoms ended up with BFP?

@MomToBee what ovulation tracking are you using? Are your dates definite? Could anything have prolonged your cycle or LP this month?

@MomToBee also you're not out until AF shows 😘

I am using a simple periods tracker application.. I have the most regular cycle and AF shows up perfectly to torture every 31 days.. Moreover I can feel a sharp pain when I ovulate.. I have come to the forum just because I feel different this month.
