Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

The price of your bus pass is an embarrassing story please, doesn’t have to go be TTC related but can you beat breaking a guy’s banjo in a BJ or whilst DTD?! 🤞🏻🙌🏻

@Franklydear that sounds like a good plan. I only told her because she was in a bad mood and I thought it might be some good news for a change but went down like a lead balloon. I'm not sharing my fertility woes with anyone other than DH and her, but maybe I should cut her out and find a friend to talk to instead because she never has anything helpful to say.

This thread has been a godsend. Thank you all for being such a great bunch!

I feel really hopeful for the first time in a long time about my prospects of having a baby one day.

@Somatronic one for all and all for one, for me too this is the best bus ever, we really don’t have a bad egg

@Somatronic we're all different but all my close friends and coworkers know we're TTC/infertile. I've had one or two crappy comments that they didn't realise were crappy but the rest have been a godsend. Saying that I've not told anyone actually related to me lol!

Nearly done filling out the IVF paperwork (@Franklydear). I'll need to print out things like bank statements, proof of my settled status and take passport copies tomorrow whilst at work though first. There's definitely a few sections my fertility doc needs to sign off on so not sure how that works? I'll try and email the only contact at the clinic I have to see what I'm meant to do.

@paintfairy now that i've double checked the paperwork it does say that once accepted I have to commence treatment within 6 months so that's pretty perfect.

Thank you for replying. It's been a turbulent few days. Today I had my second blood test, she said not to swim. For how long can I not swim? I am so relieved I had a trip already planned for next month, I really hope I can swim by then. I should have asked but just didn't think anything of it when I was there.
I don't know if this could be a silver lining but having experienced this loss, I know for certain that I want this. Happy to have found you all.

@Somatronic the only people that know were the ones I had to tell about the loss, two managers at work and bestie, and another good friend, at my age the advantage is that the questions finishes some time ago, and whenever they had arise I just hide behind my general medical issues

@hellointhere the hospital didn’t tell me not to swim, but as the pools were closed for lockdown and it was late November/early December maybe they just assume I wouldn’t get to the sea, I miss swimming, going on a tangent, can you call the epu or the midwives to ask?

@larrythelizard are you getting ready the next bus? Not many post left

@hellointhere according to the miscarriageassociation.org.uk you shouldn't go swimming until the bleeding stops. It's to avoid infections/getting sepsis.

Hey everyone just wanted to update! Few days later I have got progress on cb digi already and also my first dye stealer! Had some spotting past few days so have been very worried so I apologise I've been quiet 💜 really hoping this is a sticky bean and can actually relax after my scan on 23rd which will make me 7 weeks 🤞 hope I can still share my journey with u all and wish u all the best of luck! @Laurenxx94 yes, the midwives won’t talk to you until 6 weeks, no matter what, not exactly welcoming, I’ll consider a private scan as well, the reassurance will do wonders for peace of mind
I am still the same, I am thinking to test tomorrow, or Friday if I end up up at all hours, either I am pregnant or in for a very long very wonky cycle,

@Franklydear yeah it's a shame , I had some bleeding and the rudeness was shocking. Basically said let it take its course we can't help u! And that was EPU!

Yeah il probably have this scan and another 1 before my 12 week I'm so paranoid and just want to make sure everything's ok xx

Are u prone to longer cycles or would this be your first one? Fingers crossed for u xx

DH and I have been married 2 years today, we've been on an outing to the zoo 😂 afternoon 🍆 and then a fancy dinner tonight. So excited to get dressed up!!! X

I hate it, they tell you let it run the course and check on the outcome like it was a movie you've been watching, this would have been my baby, you know?

@Lexber dh insist I test tomorrow, I did, at his request, a cheapie this afternoon , but in about hour and a half hold, they’re shit and the box says 25 ml, they were supposed to be 10 ml, it was always going to be bfn, they are actually shit and a line came on the wrong place... but they allow me to poas when I know is pointless

Hey everyone, had such a long and stressful day I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with the positives, OH got his letter through for his SA, 9th September which we're happy with, we thought it would be ages waiting time!!

Now the negatives, short version:went to put an offer in on the house, realised with it being OH's second house he'd have to pay a stamp duty fee of 10k!!! We wanted to rent this house out as OH loves it and we've made so many memories here I can't let it go just yet, but as we've found out if we want to buy our house together have to sell this one before we even think of buying this dream home WTF!! The estate agents who valued our house the other week said our house will go so fast but I feel like dream house will be snapped up before we sell this one, anyway, if we sell this one and there isn't any other houses we're stuck, we can't rent anywhere 1) I don't want to waste that much money that I could spend on a new house and 2) NOWHERE allows 2 dogs when you're renting, so low and behold we'd have to move back to parents, couldn't all go to my mums as that would be 4 dogs in her house and her older dog hates the energy of my dog, literally sulks for days, so I couldn't do that to my mum, OH's mum and stepdad I love and always see them but stepdad has a traumatic op last year ending with his leg amputated and is still struggling now with another op next week so is still living downstairs, I couldn't put that burden on them of us two and two dogs moving in, plus even though I feel comfortable there, there's feeling comfortable when going round for tea or a brew then to the extent of actually living there, I just don't know if I could do it, so we'd literally have to separate, I go to my mums he goes to his with the dogs (they go to work with him everyday) until a house comes up that we love, which obviously does TTC absolutely no fucking favours!!! Honestly I've wanted to cry so much today, it just feels like nothing is going right!!

So sorry for the huge paragraph and I'm sorry for such a self centred post, I'll try and catch up after tea❤️

Oh god @Franklyd they sound the worst tests ever but atleast DH got a test and you can focus on a FR when you feel ready!
I have one stashed away but don't want to waste/use it yet
I nearly ordered 2 more so I could waste this one knowing it will be a bFN and bring on AF whilst wasting more money 🤣🤣🤣
