The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

@feliznavidad2 it was quite sore, but it was over in a flash. My husband offered to get me painkillers because I was told to take some before I went in but he forgot them so that probably didn't help me. But it was only for a couple of minutes so it was fine and other than some cramping and bleeding afterwards it was grand. I took some painkillers after which helped.

@blackcurrantqueen and @minster2012 I've been on metformin for almost a year now. Since I came off the pill. It's supposed to help with ovulation and help PCOS. I was just saying the fact that I don't have any ovarian cysts might mean the tablets are helping me because sometimes I wonder if they do anything other than give me Long Diarrhoea. Been on the loo the last 2 days again. Might be the Covid jab too. Either way it's a literal pain in my arse.

Is anyone a pro with OPK chart interpretation please?

I usually get a clear peak but (typically the cycle of planned progesterone blood test) I haven't... The first two charts are previous cycles and the last one is this month.

Was that diddy rise on CD14 my peak?! 🤔 Could I have umm missed the real one when I was asleep?

@Franklydear how do you feel now? My SIL always gets late BFPs even on FRERS she got her current bump at 2 days late on FRER and even then it was faint so still a chance!

@Somatronic so the hycosy was kind of a "manageable" couple hours of pain. Now ending in the pain in the ass 🤣I feel like most things with me end up with toilet issues, get yourself some immodium/loperamide. Have you had your bloods checked whilst being on the metformin to see if it's boosted the ovulation? I feel that would have been a natural step 🤔

@feliznavidad2 I would say yeah that high one is the peak? Or peak overnight /short peak & missed? Though the other month mine went to .62 then down again then peaked 2 days later

Was it @bez91 that asked if I did an opk yesterday during the pain? I didn't but put one in FMU this morning and it's the highest it's been all month, 0.65 so it possibly is ovulation. I'm gonna do another couple later & see what they say

@Somatronic I'm glad it was ok! I found the hsg fine (i did take ibuprofen before though) with only minor cramping when they did it. Fine after, other than spotting. Definitely better than I thought.

I'm sat in the sun outside the hospital waiting for iui and that's similar actually. But the cramps are over faster. They did say if you can get through the hsg then you are fine with the rest of it. I get period pains though worse than any of this stuff.
DH has done his bit and gone home and will pick me up after 10!

On a different note- has anyone watched the handmaid's tale? We are just getting near to the end of season 2. Kind of scary watching! 🤣

@Minster2012 as predicted I feel normal again, but tired, I am just laying in bed until ds decides to get up, I got the late bfp with ds, but in November I got a very clear line at cd 28, and a lot of nausea, didn’t get that with ds either, but we know how that ended, ... I don’t feel periody at all, and dh recons my boobs got bigger in the last day, I might test tomorrow,I have two frers

@paintfairy good luck today! I gave up at the start of season 2 of the handmaids tale - we sort of lost interest. Love the walking dead though, even though it's massively crap a lot of the time. But omg the actor that plays the Lucille guy makes me drool.

So oops I'm CD14 and I haven't been tracking but I think my ovulation has been delayed by the jab at CD7 - the oops part is that we BD last night and OH forgot to pull out lol. I mean, knowing our track record the odds are SLIM but sod's law has me a tiny bit concerned.

@Minster2012 yeah, stress is the worst, I am so chilled at the moment with no toxic people around me and dh is trying to get more qualified staff, so he can do only his job, he manage yesterday and he was so happy and chilled when he got home

@Franklydear I know. Its just hard after a point, isn't it?

So- interestingly the sperm count was the lowest its ever been! 4.8 million they put in (first time 6.8 with 1.5 days abstinence, second time 4 days abstinence and 15 million) with 2.5 days abstinence this time. No consistency at all! Their lower limit is actually 5 million. She said what was there was good though and really fast. So we shall see. But it's not ideal. Also my progesterone blood test was fine at 90 last cycle but the time before it was 274! I had 2 follicles both times. (This time theres only 1). Strange how its so varied.
I'm to try double progesterone pessaries this time, morning and night.
I've got my ivf paperwork......

@paintfairy that's super random! There must be so many factors affecting it. Eg the heatwave cooking his swimmers etc lol. Yay for the paperwork being ready and for convincing OH to do them now. As for things to watch - we're watching Outlander so I feel ya . We really enjoyed The Unforgotten if you haven't watched that yet? The Sinner is also great.

@Minster2012 I never think of taking medications for my ailments. Of course I should be taking something for the toilet issues. I'm the same with painkillers. I go around with pain and it never occurs to be to take a painkiller. Probably because my mother raised us to believe that meds were for wimps and we never had any in the house. Very strange woman. On that note I rang her yesterday to tell her all is well with my tubes etc and she basically said this infertility is all in my head and I need to stop worrying and assuming something is wrong. Luckily I don't pay any attention to her crazy attitude towards medical stuff any more!

I had bloods done to see if ovulation is happening but period was delayed so I think it was the wrong date. I'll try again this month and hope the jab doesn't disrupt things. I get really short periods and no EWCM so I don't think I ovulate.

@paintfairy I watched the first season of Handmaid's Tale but I found the start of the second series a bit too much - I thought the violence and suffering was a bit gratuitous and frankly it made me feel a bit ill so I stopped watching. Good luck today! Fingers crossed for you.

The ivf paperwork is basically sign it (both of you) and tick which clinic you want. That is it. 🤣

For me- I think I just worry about dealing with it. I was optimistic and excited for my iui. Didn't worry about it. The second cycle was ok. This one was just hard work - as in, my brain is struggling. I think I didn't expect to have to talk about ivf now so that's maybe thrown me. But today when talking to the nurse I wanted to cry. And I just haven't felt like that before? I think had i blindly gone straight to IVF then maybe it might have been easier. But I already feel drained by it. I feel like I've lived at the hospital this year so far. No one really knows about it all so I haven't got much support. I know the clinics have counsellors but I'm not sure how i feel about talking to a stranger either.

@Juno231 yes we watched breaking bad at the beginning of our netflix stints. Really enjoyed that!

I think I complained of being sweaty last month a few days before BFP? But I refuse to test yet and won't get my hopes up as I don't feel pregnant so assuming I'm not and awaiting AF Saturday I think Altho my apps are trying to tell me she is due Tomorrow as 14dpo but I'm only CD26 today so think I am 12dpo (could be 11 I never know which day to count from... do we count the day of peak?!)

Anywho, I will try and catch up properly later when I get 2 mins
