Your service has been interrupted as your normal bus driver has connectivity issues. Just as well there's a driver out there who's done the route as cover before...! As ever, apologies if I've got any of it wrong!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

The price of your bus pass is an embarrassing story please, doesn’t have to go be TTC related but can you beat breaking a guy’s banjo in a BJ or whilst DTD?! 🤞🏻🙌🏻

And if you see mention of minster's blog then blame the ladies on the thread but @minster2012 needs to carry on with it it, I’ve been lazy! #shamelessplug

My appointments etc have gone arseways aswell. Seems to be a theme around here.

I had to cancel the hycosy last month (late period and then doc on holidays) and the list is full this month. I'm on a list in case they have a cancellation on Tuesday, an hour before my second vaccine appointment which is across town but I'd take it if it was available. If I can't get the hycosy I'll have to cancel my next fertility appointment and God only knows how long it'll take to get another one.
Today they tell me there's a private list which I should be entitled to as I have private health insurance. Pity they didn't tell me that last month. Ffs

Laurenxx94 · 28/07/2021 11:54

@feliznavidad2 I have pre af spotting too which is exactly like you , this month I don't think it's implantation and started 9 days before AF. They have referred me back to gynaecologist to look at it more.
It's getting more every month I spot for about 5/6 days before AF especially after sex x

Kirky658 · 28/07/2021 12:46

@vil10 deffo DH is loving it 🤣. I think it's gonna be few and far between now though I just feel too fat and heavy. So cute on the hooded towel, we've got a me to you one they're adorable! I don't know what to get for her to come home in yet 😳

@somatronic that sucks!!! Sorry to hear. Hopefully being on the private list might bump you up for cancellations too.

@laurenxx94 have they looked at your cervix yet? I went through a phase where I had a literal period after every time we had sex and It was a cervical ectropion. They had to burn off some cells and it was OK after that. X

Juno231 · 28/07/2021 12:54

@feliznavidad2 yeah it's fine for them to do the hormone panel then IF they redo it on cd2 as well. There are ladies on my other threads who went undiagnosed with PCOS for instance because their hormone tests were only done mid cycle and no one bothered to test them at the right time. Also if yours haven't asked for progesterone to be tested on CD21 then you'll have to waste a whole cycle before you can redo them! Such a faff. Best call yo double check.

Juno231 · 28/07/2021 12:55

@Somatronic ffs private lists?? What's wrong with everyone 😂🤯🤬

feliznavidad2 · 28/07/2021 13:18

I've messaged the GP 'just to confirm' 😉 @Juno231

Laurenxx94 · 28/07/2021 13:25

@Kirky658 yes I have exactly that. Got cells burned off last year but seem to still have it so they said just need to deal with it basically. I hate doctors lol. They're looking into it further though xx

Franklydear · 28/07/2021 13:34

Nhs peeps, I need your help, gp refuses to start dyslexia diagnosis process as the NHS doesn't diagnose dyslexia, all we have is the senco's screening of high risk of dyslexia, the all knowledgeable receptionist says there's all there is and I can't get past them, I called twice today, plan is to contact the dyslexia association and the surgery manager to see how I can proceed, any ideas? the autism assessment unit cannot he'll me, yeah I called them too

becarefuloutthere · 28/07/2021 13:49

@Vil10 well done standing up for yourself at the drs today! I'm glad someone there knew what they were talking about! Re results, I was told to call in a few days so think I called after 3. Best of luck!
@paintfairy I hope you stop getting messed around soon, must be hard to keep the faith when it's such a battle! How's your arm healing up?
@Juno231 lol at ppl thinking that photo was your own wedding, like you say, you're wearing blue plus already married! Makes you consider who you're friends with on fb doesn't it! What's latest with your investigations? Have you got an ivf start date yet? Sorry if I missed it, I'm pretty rubbish at keeping up these days but I am still here.

Juno231 · 28/07/2021 14:25

@becarefuloutthere ha no worries, I'm terrible too! I still need to fill out the ivf funding application but have been dragging my feet as I don't want things to kick off too early now that I'm moving jobs. Rubbish timing really.

@Franklydear per the NHS website:
^The first step is to meet your child's teacher and their school's special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO) to discuss your concerns and any interventions that have been tried already.

If your child continues to have difficulties despite interventions, you can ask for them to be referred for assessment by a local authority educational psychologist or another specialist in dyslexia.

Or you can approach an independent educational psychologist or another suitably qualified professional directly.

You can find a directory of chartered psychologists on the British Psychological Society's website.

You can also contact a national or local dyslexia association for help arranging an assessment.

The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) has more information about assessments for children and adults.^

becarefuloutthere · 28/07/2021 15:16

@Juno231 ah yes of course, the new job! Starts in October right or were you able to cut the notice period a bit?

Juno231 · 28/07/2021 15:19

@becarefuloutthere Oct I'm afraid - boss won't cut my notice period at all. I have 2 weeks leave left to take that I'm hoping to take at the end of it but I have a feeling she won't approve it...

becarefuloutthere · 28/07/2021 15:49

@Juno231 ooh what a cow if she doesn't!! 😠

Somatronic · 28/07/2021 16:01

@Juno231 I know. I live in Ireland where we have a two tier health system. Basically you pay to skip waiting lists. If you can't pay then you're waiting a long time for healthcare. Sometimes years. It's really fucked up.

I feel I have no choice but to pay several thousand a year for private insurance because of my autoimmune diseases. I still end up paying a fair bit in bloods and endocrinologist appointments. Also, almost nothing is covered by the state or by insurance companies when it comes to infertility so I might quit the insurance and shovel the money into infertility etc next year.

Franklydear · 28/07/2021 16:41

@Juno231 I found that, the primary school only does the screening, the secondary school doesn’t diagnose at all, and the gp says the school does it, from pillar to post and back again, it’s ok I am not in a hurry, really needs to be in place for exams but he won’t have external exams until gcse, and defo for uni, I just didn’t expect to be fob off so casually

kaylsd · 28/07/2021 17:27

Hey there lovely lot just come back from my first appointment and actually found it quite useful! Was in the appointment about 30 minutes or so?

So they did the whole questions of how long we’ve been trying my period history (or shall I say non existent period history) our sex life ect, looked at my bloods said I don’t ovulate which I knew 🙃 reviewed hubs SA which was borderline normal which has to be repeated and got to ring up on Friday to book this in, swabs results which were normal and scan results which impression is PCOS which I knew & Had to be examined there with a speculum, I hate those things!

So treatment going forward I’ve become a metformin queen! Consultant is under impression I should be able to get my cycle back normal and ovulate potentially with just metformin (as I spontaneously ovulate so I can ovulate it’s just far and few between) and got to take that 3 times a day for 3 month eventually (gradual build up as can give a upset stomach!) and then return back to clinic in 3 month with recent ultrasound as it's different trust so don't have records of the one done already but he’s requested today, had some more bloods taken there today for other markers my GP didn't test prolactin testosterone and some letters I've never seen as a blood work before but hey ho & new hubs SA results when he books in Friday to see our next treatment step, which he thinks ovulation induction with hyscosy test first if clear with metformin and clomid if the metformin doesn’t work for us so yeah! I feel really positive on the principle of I feel like I’m finally getting somewhere again after all this time of nothingness 🥺

so yeah I don't know if there's any success stories with just metformin alone but I'll take even just getting the bitch AF to return back into normal routine 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈

Minster2012 · 28/07/2021 17:47

@Juno231 how you feeling after the jab? I thought you were ah I get it now after seeing the picture!! How can ppl confuse that? Is it just because DH is wearing a morning suit?

@Kirky658 loving that you are having better orgasms!!

@paintfairy this is the last IUI cycle right?

@feliznavidad2 progress!! Awesome 🥳and CD21 or 22 would be fine for you

@Vil10 I remember that lovely hamper you did, seems like not so long ago now. It's still ok to feel sad though. A set of our friends are due just before I was in Dec and I'm still sad. Sad we can't go through it together. Even DH said that 😔

@Somatronic everything is such a battle it's the most frustrating thing ever I think trying to make sure things get done right 😣get yourself on that private list

@Franklydear I don't know about the dyslexia, how do ppl get diagnosed? Ah ha, @Juno231 to the rescue 🤩you are a star Juno. What reason can your boss give to not let you have the leave? Are they just wanting to pay you out?

@kaylsd MAJOR progress that's immense. I'd maybe get DH to take some vitamins just to try help? My DH and others from here have taken the tomato based ones from futureyouhealth. I can give you a discount code I think through pm if you want? I'm Def with you on just wanting a normal cycle so goooo metformin!!! Come on Kayles!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥰

Kirky658 · 28/07/2021 17:52

@kaylsd all sounds really positive babe. My bestie has pcos and she was prescribed metaformin and conceived really quickly so hopefully the case for you xx

paintfairy · 28/07/2021 18:27

@Minster2012 yes if they don't miss ovulation. Which it's borderline..... watch this space!

larrythelizard · 28/07/2021 18:57

Sounds a good result @feliznavidad2

Sounds like pulling teeth @Somatronic but good that it sounds like you shouldn't be paying for it!

Not a useful NHS bod @Franklydear but the dyslexia association should surely be able to help signpost you in the right direction?

Your boss really does sound like a knob @Juno231. Hopefully she approves the leave and you get a break between jobs. Also I saw that pic and it was very obviously a wedding guest outfit not a wedding dress!

Same here with DH and supplements @Minster2012. We're on holiday next week and will be HAVING WORDS when we're back 😂

Sounds like answers and a plan @kaylsd which has to be better than before?! 🤞🏼 the metaformin does it's magic quickly!

OP posts:
Somatronic · 28/07/2021 19:05

@kaylsd that's good progress. I hope it works for you. I've been on metformin for a long time and other than giving me horrendous stomach problems I don't think it's doing anything for me. Hopefully you'll have a better response!

AF came today. Ever getting pregnant or having a positive test seems so remote for me now that I'm not even sad. Just feel like it's hopeless so the pressure is off in a way.

Laurenxx94 · 28/07/2021 19:40

@kaylsd that's amazing news getting all that information in one appointment!
How long did it take to wait on the appointment? Hope
You feel better for it definitely makes everything seem better xxxx

Laurenxx94 · 28/07/2021 19:41

@Somatronic sorry AF got u, hate that feeling! Takes me about a week to feel better 😞xx

Franklydear · 28/07/2021 19:41

Boy came back from his solo play date with an invitation to a sleepover next week! I said yes, but my I am not used to this, my autism friend-parents move at a much slower pace

bez91 · 28/07/2021 19:58

Wow @kaylsd sounds a productive appointment on all fronts, no advice on metformin I'm afraid but all sounds positive

@Somatronic that's bonkers.
Does sound a plan about quitting the private and just putting all on the fertility treatment cost.
