Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

Lots of catching up to do but saw your post @bez91 - I think it completely depends on your relationship with that lady. Like my current boss I could be really open with but the guy before that there was no chance I could at all.

@kaylsd yeah possibly that's what it is. I'm in Greater Glasgow & Clyde in Scotland, I don't know anyone else from my area who has had any fertility testing to compare. Like @Justanothercyster I was just happy to quickly have that referral rather than spend more time going through tests with the GP only to have to have them redone again once referred!

@Kirky658 that doesn't sound great with job situation. You were considering a move after maternity leave weren't you to avoid the travelling requirements? It sounds like that might be best! I'm not sure if I'm getting maternity leave cover. I think they will hire a permanent person with the same job role rather than a maternity cover or getting any existing colleagues to pick up the workload. They were looking to not long before the pandemic but I think they struggled to find anyone that would be a good fit. I'll feel better if they do hire someone permanent as I'm still planning to job hunt during maternity and not go back so it will mean they won't be left with no one.

I think that's a completely fair decision @DKDK123, what will be will be. I know what you mean about the headspace and emotional energy. Sending big old hugs.

They have to retain a job of the equivalent grade @Kirky658, you're protected. Make sure they know that. Doesn't have to be the exact same job but has to be same level.

@kaylsd @justanothercyster thanks ladies. Just trying to focus on baby now that's the most important thing. I at least have achieved a huge bonus for this month so that will help with my last paycheck before maternity pay starts.

@2020mission my boss said initially they wouldn't get anyone to cover my area, just someone to respond to important emails so this has come from nowhere. You're right though, I will be looking for something else anyway so I'd love to stick it to them!

@larrythelizard yes exactly. My manager was very very careful when I questioned that to say 'we will revisit the regions when you return'.

@kaylsd I agree though not very accurate sometimes I just needed something to keep me going 😞 interesting with your vitamins do any of them do specific things for you? C

@Justanothercyster yeah so it's like a tarot reading that predicts when you will conceive etc but I've never believed in any them before just needed something for some comfort. Hoping it's accurate though!
Oh is the seven seas supposed to be good? I take pregnacare is it any different ?

@larrythelizard it's just a tarot reading so they women predicted within 1-2 cycles, the next card was swaying towards a boy, predicted numbers 1&5 said I will see crocodiles and also I will have hot sweats was very in depth she has said she will do a refectory if the months weren't accurate . Who knows lol x

Ah im sure they're the same, but I started on Pregnacare and then when I changed to seven seas I got my bfp. 100% coincidence but it's just weird as a few of the women on here who got bfp's also switched to seven seas. Personally I just preferred them as they were smaller to swallow x

@larrythelizard if they balls this up, then I'm going to ask that. I don't want to have to do another round.
@DKDK123 definitely understandable. We are coming up to the 2 year point too and it's ridiculous. It does take over your life, even if you really don't let it. I feel like I can't remember a time before this?
@bez91 I think it depends if you can trust them not to use it against you? Sometimes saying things is beneficial.
@Laurenxx94 I've tried all vitamins going. Nothing made a difference. B50 complex gave me stomach cramps, but that was the only thing that ever happened with any of it. 🤣

Will do full check on tomorrow as been manic with birthday then just been working this evening but I'm trying to find the right exhibition for my OPK pots/shots in straw FW locations don't worry!

Who was it that asked what the pot was today? It was a medical pot I was given tablets in from hospital which I then use at home for my tablet doses in the morning. I used to have loads, that's the last one but that (and a shot glass) are good for OPKs on the move 🤣

Ps earlier DH said to me when grabbing a plastic cup out of the sink "what's this been used for can I use it?"
"Probably my piss love so if you are gonna use it to drink I would wash it first"

@Laurenxx94 sadly seven seas trying for a baby vitamins weren't a miracle for me 😅 so I'm ruining the lucky streak the bus. I was taking them for over 6 months before I got my BFP. My husband did start taking vitamins for the couple of months before we had success though which could have helped. I tried the pregnacare for a month at one point too but those gave me headaches so moved straight back to seven seas.

@laurenxx94 I just took pregnacare for the 6 months we were ttc. X

@bez91 Thankyou!! Definitely seems to be a pattern of gp's being dog shit!! I think it depends on your boss, honesty would always be the best and she could end up being so supportive!

@Kirky658 they really are!! Aw Thankyou so much!! However is this coming from the woman who did the sexiest photo shoot ever??? Also I'm currently led here like a potato with greasy due a wash hair, so definitely not like the pics😂 also what a mess with your work!! Definitely not what you need right now, I know it's easier said than done but try and just focus on the work you have to do before mat leave then enjoy your time off and cross that bridge when you get there x

@kaylsd I wish my gp was like that, I literally feel like I'm talking to a brick wall!! I'm going to get there earlier tomorrow so I can explain that I want my progesterone testing tomorrow! Oh yes good idea, definitely something to look at!

@larrythelizard you're right, at least something is happening, I just keep thinking like what is a reasonable time frame to think "oh this time on however long I could be pregnant", that's if I don't get pregnant naturally🤞🏼

@Laurenxx94 seven seas weren't lucky for me either, they knocked my cycle out of whack, and so did the pregnacare, I just take a folic acid now, I've spent too much time and hassle with vitamins, juice, seed cycling, after 17 months it gets tedious😂😂

I started spotting about 2 days ago only when wiping. It's dark red, and is still there on and off. Sorry tmi but if I push in a bit more comes out but it's still not enough to even make it to the pad 😂 feel disgusting saying this but what's your opinions? I just need to wait it out I know I always get pre af spotting but never this early just really hope it's not that as it's getting earlier and earlier 😞 this wait is horrible isn't it. I just feel it's never going to happen.

oh has sperm analysis tomorrow so will keep u all updated his last one was slightly low at 12 mil but will be interested to see if the vitamins he's been taking (made to take 😂) have helped at all he got his results next day last time so hoping it's just as quick x

@bez91 I personally wouldn't mention it, especially with a job in the balance as no matter how kind someone is, it's hard not to think that they'd rather hire someone for it that won't bugger off on mat leave straight away. You can still bring up the stress of the current job without having to bring in personal matters.

Not much you can do about it though so focus on baby and maybe consider browsing for other jobs in the latter stages of mat leave just in case?

Bloods done!! And for once in my life I didn't pass out!! I'm horrendous with getting my bloods taken, I used to have them all the time when I was younger for low blood platelets and I was fine but as I've got older I've got really bad, hot, sweaty, dizzy, then faint, the nurse was so so lovely though which I think helped, she helped to distract me! Does anyone know what kinda time frame I should leave it before ringing for results?

Got to the reception and mentioned our conversation on the phone yesterday and told her I will be having my progesterone bloods taken today, she actually tried suggesting otherwise??? I said look I don't mean to undermine you but I know my body, booking my bloods for next month on day 21 will be a complete waste of both our times, low and behold she gave me the progesterone form, the nurse afterwards was then telling me I was completely right and to not listen to the receptionists because I know my body!
