Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

So the gp never rang me back, shock, so ive just rang them and they added progesterone to my bloods tomorrow so at least that's done, still doing my LH and FSH though so god knows what these results will come back as! Also say if it's the wrong day for my progesterone to be checked, will they re do them or just put it down to low progesterone even if it's the wrong day for them to be done? I'll be 8dpo tomorrow when getting them done! OH didn't get his phone call either from his doctors so he's ringing them today, I'm already getting so impatient with their carelessness!

Anyway, on a brighter note, I have my mum coming round today with her pup, everyone remember him?? I'll attach a pic, and we're taking him out with our dogs to practice some recall!

@Dollybird89 no peak for me either and I laugh at them assessing things over the phone!

@Laurenxx94 well my progesterone was 35 when I got my BFP so I think yours is really good!

@Juno231 doesn't really counteract those sweets though!!

@Vil10 OMG how gorgeous is Albert!!?? And that's really good on your bloods, I did them at 8dpo when I got my bfp so sure you'll be fine. Really annoying on OH's SA though ffs it's so annoying

@vil10 wow why are all our docs seemingly incompetent! 8DPO is perfect for a progesterone test though so don't worry about that. Peak progesterone is 7-9dpo so as long as it's in that bracket you're good. Did your OH's GP ever call him in the end?

@Mumlili9 mine was 62 I think but 40s should be plenty!

@Laurenxx94 no unfortunately not, I had a MC which was may & seems like my cycles aren't back again (though that was the first time I've actually ovulated so se don't know what my cycles are like really!)

@Juno231 wow there's me thinking 35 was good 🤣have you heard anything after doing your paperwork for ivf? And btw how was your boss when you resigned after the other colleague?

@Minster2012 I haven't done the paperwork yet... oops! Tbf I only got back from hols on Sunday night so the plan was always to do it after I got back. I have a feeling the papers said to do it within 3 months of referral so I'll double check that and eke it out as much as possible.

Oh and my boss was in shock but took it well at the time. Annoyingly she seems to be acting as if I'm never leaving and giving me more and more work to do still. She's also now realised how bad this looks on her and wants me and the other guy to be totally honest in our exit interviews as she thinks it will make exco look bad and not her... she's delusional though as it's def all on her!

What's the goal house wise this week?

Hi ladies, I've not disappeared just quietly following along your journeys in the background popping on for a read every few days. I'm taking a major step back from ttc, I think the 2 year mark was a good point to say enough is enough ttc is taking over too much time, money and head space, feels like I've been wishing my life away for 2 years constantly wanting the tww to hurry up or AF to hurry up and leave, feel like I've barely taken the time to just enjoy life as it is. And it actually makes me feel ill to think of the money I've spent 🙈 I won't use contraception but I also won't hold out any hope of anything happening or spending my time tracking, if it does a great bonus but I think its best just to assume it won't and go forward with life as it is. I feel bad for DS that I couldn't give him a sibling but also feel really bad when I think back that half his life has been spent not fully giving him my full attention and headspace as its been spent on a non existent child! I'll still be popping onto the bus every so often for a catch up with everyone's news I just won't be on every day. Now what to do with all that money I'll save not buying opks, FRERs lubes and pills 🤔😂

@Vil10 how quickly your mums puppy has grown!!!! But still utterly adorable 😍 Sounds like such a farce you're having with the docs, tho unfortunately not surprising, we did say to drastically lower expectations, your blood pressure will be thru the roof with their incompetence otherwise 😂

Well done on the weight loss @Mumlili9 I had a lovely gain last week after 2/3 weeks off and birthday🤣

He was a complete narcissist and when I was in a very bad place a few years back took advantage of my good nature and left me feeling trapped. He made me mentally and physically ill. I genuinely felt for her last night, and like OH said, it must have taken a lot for her to contact me. She sounded in the same place I was years ago. I had a good chat with her and spoke honestly which she was grateful as she thought it was just her, but sadly it sounds identical to how he was with me if not worse... hopefully my honesty has given her the strength to walk away if not for herself for her kids! Altho I did say to OH I don't want to be involved as it's my past and not my business. @larrythelizard @Juno231 @becarefuloutthere

Hey @DKDK123 sometimes a break is as good as a rest. You may feel different in a few months or even get caught when the stress of it all subsided. It can't have been an easy decision to make ((((hugs)))) 2 years is a long time and getting some headspace is what is right for you right now. Sending love xxxx

@DKDK123 I've just recently joined but want to say I'm sorry this isn't happening for you, I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you.
Have you had any tests done? It sounds like you have the right headspace and totally agree with how much it takes over your life. We have been ttc for 10 months going on 11 and for most of it I've spent a fortune already and become emotionally obsessed. It's such a difficult journey for us all! Who thought wanting a baby would be such a stressful time 😭 hope your ok x

Different although I had a lot of mental and emotional issues at the start. They totally break you.
What do you think you will do?
The hard part is that she's reached out but I would be worried they work things out and if you have an input they will see you as the bad one 😞 x

Got my peak CD13, so think I ovulated CD14.
CD18 today (usual 28 days) so that should make me 4/5dpo depending when I ovulated. DTD plenty around that time so 🤞🏼

@Laurenxx94 we had a chat last night and I just shared honest facts and it turns out some of his truths were twisted. And she had been through the same thoughts I gave her already. He sisters and friends have all told her to leave him.

I hope this has given her the confidence to do it. I told her he left me in a mess and scared of men and also never wanting a relationship again. But I've gone on to meet a wonderful loving kind man who treats me and my daughters well. And couldn't be happier now and she deserves better.

I genuinely feel for her but I also made it clear I won't be involved as it's not my business and I don't want him in my life again in any context

Gp's do my head in they really do! 8dpo sound good for progesterone, mine was done 6dpo I think and still came out at 62!

I need to catch up, and I'll go do that in a sec. But i wanted to write my morning rant! 🤣

So- fertility clinic rang late on yesterday saying they had a cancellation and I can go today at 10am. I said yes and hoped I could somehow manage being in 2 places at once. I actually did (that was the easy part). I have worked out that appointment times are not relevant and they'll all deal with you when you are there. I got there early for my fracture clinic one (should have been 9.10am).
So- that went well aside from them telling me that I should have started physio 2 weeks after my op. And then I'd have more use in it. 🤦‍♀️ Great. She booked me an appointment for 11am next Wednesday at the other hospital that's nearer home. At least i wasn't in there all day like previous times.

Fertility. Well, no words for that. So I'm day 5 today but they count it as day 4 because AF came after 6pm Friday (only just mind). I usually ovulate day 12. They cannot fit me in Monday for a scan so my next one is Tuesday (day 11.5 in my head). So if they inseminate Wednesday they've potentially missed it. She was like- well if the ovulation test shows you have a surge on Tuesday we'll do it Wednesday. Erm, likely it won't by that point, will it?! And I'm trying to point out to her that I never ovulate past day 12 ever. So she was like- if we miss it then it won't count so you'll still get another cycle. I don't want another bloody cycle! I've had enough! 🤬 We shall see. They might catch it Wednesday but only if they realise they HAVE to do it then and don't go trying to leave it until Thursday. 🙄 I'll do my own ovulation tests......
Oh, and the drugs. So last time they started me on 50 on day 5 (first time 75 on day 4). I had a scan day 9 and they upped me to 75. On day 10 she told me to take 100 that day and then trigger that night. So this time they've told me to do 50 from day 5 (and a half. Lol) for the full time until I go next Tuesday. By which point it'll be too late to change anything?

@Vil10 it doesn't get any better. Honestly. Its like pulling teeth....

@Lexber that's really good if you, I would've stayed well clear so as not to give myself a headache, cycle looking good!

@Laurenxx94 thanks, been TTC #2 since may 19 (DS was carried by my best friend as a surrogate as I was on chemo) & we tried naturally for 6 months where I was told I wasn't ovulating so in 2020 (& beginning of this year) we had 3 lots of ivf with our embryos we had before, 1st one ended in a missed miscarriage in lockdown last March. This year as we were going to do a new fresh ivf round I was told my egg reserves had bounced back & cycle 1 after last ivf I fell pregnant naturally (first ever confirmed ovulation) so it's Been a weird one! So over 2 years but since feb this year TTC naturally & 1 MC. Never had "a normal cycle" before so I'm on a learning curve 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Mumlili9 well done on the weight loss sweet! In terms of snacks I like to eat those skinny bars from home bargains with a cuppa as a treat or fruit with yoghurt and desert sauce so it just tastes of something sweeter than usual 🙈

Tomorrow is my first ever fertility appointment after waiting since April 29th.. (I only remember the date exact as my baby niece was born the day before 🙃) this will be an accurate vision of me tomorrow in the hospital car park. It says I’ve got to bring a urine sample and I’ve forgot to grab one from work (I should know better being a nurse myself) so I’m tempted to rock up my wee in a Tupperware box.. wonder if they’ll judge 🤣🤣🤣 hope your okay lovely ladies ❤️
