@Marvellouslymadmum I’m doing ok ta, it’s all just a bit frustrating isn’t it!? The consultant is away this week so I can’t get my results until next week when he’ll get a chance to review them.

@Sunbird24 it's so frustrating! I don't even have any way to contact my consultant so just have to wait for them to contact me each time!

@paintfairy I was certainly surprised at the suggestion! I wonder if they’ll say come in again when I see them tomorrow. Wouldn’t be surprised.

@thislittlebird I'm not even being scanned as on a 'low' dose of 2.5mg letrozole and they don't have resources anyway 😅😖 however they're not triggering me so maybe that's why (although they're supposed to due to risk of multiple cysts etc)

@kerrym87 definitely seems quite common, I know loads of ladies on here who are sent off without scans. But yes, the trigger is the difference however they could see I was triggered the same day both times (exactly, day 10 on a Friday lol) so I guess they think I’m fairly predictable. I’ll ask when I go today. I’m here getting ready to leave and I can’t be bothered to do the journey to Chelsea!

@kerrym87 I’m on 5mg btw and I’ve only had one or two follicles each time. Letrozole seems quite good at doing what it’s supposed to and only growing a couple.

Yeah they said they’ll do two scans, I’ll take it, still cheaper than three. Weirdly they’ve scheduled me for day 12 when I’ve been triggered before that both times (8 days after starting Letrozole). I guess it’s to avoid a third scan.

@becarefuloutthere yeah it was fine, probably day 12 when I do a second scan (it’s quite late so everything should have grown by then that’s going to grow).

I've got to trigger tomorrow night for egg collection Monday. Literally dreading that! 🙈 I can't believe how fast this part of it has gone. The downreg felt very slow.

@Marvellouslymadmum do OPKs maybe so you can see if you’re getting any lh rise leading up to day 12. I had a complete mad one when I said day 12, I don’t know what I was talking about. I realised they want me in one day 9, and I blame stress, I don’t know where I found an extra three days. Day 9 is too early and I’m not going back in on day 12. I’m going to email and ask which day is better, 9 or 12. Making me come in for both when I’ve been triggered on days 10 and 11 isn’t happening.

I'm home! Well, it wasn't that bad really. I was nervous but everyone was lovely. I felt like I was awake the whole time in the theatre but I'm not really sure I could have been? I only felt him do like 2 things. They also injected painkiller into my bum (apparently) which I have no knowledge of. So when he said he'd done i was like- but you've only got 2 eggs or something? There was a bit of discomfort but much less than expected, so I'm happy with that! I wouldn't be worried about having to do it again.
They got 12 eggs. The embryologist called me as we were driving home to explain next steps. Basically they expect 80% to be mature and 70% to fertilise. So suddenly there's not many left if that happens, as we all know they don't all develop properly either. But they'll call me tomorrow before 12 to tell me how many fertilised. Let's hope some do.

@paintfairy best of luck over the next few days, the drop of rate can be high but you might be surprised! Fingers crossed for your eggies🤞🏼

@paintfairy glad all went well! 12 is a great number with an 80% attrition rate. Think I had 10 collected and 8 mature. Ended up with 4 total so have 3 frozen! Hope the wait doesn't feel too long now. Best of luck 🤞🏾

@thislittlebird yes I've been doing the opk since cd4 I've had a rise up to 83% then down then up again to 60% so my usual pattern of Lh being up down up down, thought it may be different on the clomid! I'll have my scan tomorrow so hopefully that'll tell me what's going on it there and my temps haven't rissen yet but they're higher in general than a normal month for some reason, they're more like they usually are after ovulation 🤷🏼‍♀️

That seems strange that they want you in so early, they asked me to go in on day 12
