@thislittlebird it's only 2.5mg but I'm quite sensitive to side effects when I start drugs, it just makes me feel generally yukky digestive wise and drained, exacerbates ME symptoms but its only for 5 days.

@kerrym87 ah ok, I’ve no idea why I don’t have any symptoms at all, I was on 5mg. I’ll probably do one more cycle.

Fiancée recovering from Varicocele repair on Wednesday. He is working from home today. It was a bit more extensive than first thought and vessels to his kidneys were affected so he had some .esh etc. Put in to support it so everything crossed this helps. On CD21. We did intend to give TTC a go thos month but I'm not sure our hearts were really in it after unsuccessful IVF round last month. We DTD a couple of times within the window but not everyday as we've been advised. I managed to purchase some DHEA from ebay so will see how that goes.

@kerrym87 we had to have icsi on our second ivf round and ultimately still got pregnant naturally so don't give up hope!

@Motherofkittens28 I didn't realise that! Suppose I'm scared to get hopes up as it's harder to deal with disappointment than be sceptical. @MIW01 fingers crossed after that and hope hubby's not too sore!

@clolo I’m mostly feeling nothing yet, except had a teeny bit of cramping in the night and my boobs are slightly tender. I think it’s probably the progesterone though. Last time I was on crinone which is 90mg a day, this time I’m on cyclogest which is 800mg a day so way more progesterone this time!!
I’m dying to test already!! 😂 when’s your otd? Mine is 14dpt Friday 8th, but gona test at 11dpt I think on 5th as I run out of progesterone on 8th!

Update from me- I had a scan and DH a SA at the ivf clinic. The follow up with the consultant has recommend icsi and we can start as soon as we get coordinated. I think it'll be long protocol. Suddenly seems very real! We only get 1 round though (nhs).

@paintfairy yes, I was wondering the same as @clolo. I know we get three transfers if we get any embryos which I was really pleased by, but I did ask them if having a freeze all means I still get three frozen transfers if I can’t do the one fresh. They said yes, but obviously it relies on the one round going well.

So I had my phone call, she called early - my amh is only 1.3 😞 I know that's not the worst as I'm 42.5 now but I was hoping for a bit better! She said my progesterone was very low when she checked it (0.8) but as I was cd2 I expected that. She asked me what I wanted to do, if I want to go ahead with clomid and I said yes, I'm figuring nothing has happened without it so may as well give it a try! She's forwarding a prescription to my gp to go ahead and I'll be monitored with blood test for progesterone only so will have to book scans in myself.

@Marvellouslymadmum oh no, that’s frustrating news I’m sorry. Have they done an afc on you? Might be worthwhile to get one done to get the full picture.

Progesterone not a shock for that time of the month. I wasn’t monitored for progesterone and I’m going to ask them to do that this private letrozole cycle, ahead of IVF. I’m not convinced I ovulated, it’s good that they’re doing that anyway.

Yes at least they're doing something - I really feel like this is my last chance though so want to get as healthy as I can over the next month and do everything I can to help!

@thislittlebird @clolo I think I get all FETs (assuming we have that many!).
@Marvellouslymadmum they didn't even check my amh at my clinic. Just scanned to see how many follicles I have this month. So I wouldn't worry too much?
