Ive tried letrozole for first time and I've got the longest cycle I've had in over 5 months...Still waiting for ovulation roll on ovf appt 13th Sept!

The fertility clinoc called this morning to say unfortunately the other 2 embryos are put so not suitable for freezing so if we need another go we are starting from scratch! Keeping everything crossed this little blasto is a sticky bean!!!

@Marvellouslymadmum I think I'm a little atypical in that my cycles are regular ish and tend to be 31- 35 the last 5months since I cut down dairy, sugar and had my ovaries drilled. The longest cycles I had were only 45 so it might do.more for you if that makes sense? I'm only on 2.5mg as they're not monitoring me so not sure if a bigger dose would have been better ....🤷‍♀️ fingers crossed for you. It does seem to work for a lot of ladies bit I've never been run of the mill 'normal' anyway! 😆

@kerrym87 my cycles were 21-33 days in general with the odd longer one but my last two have been 49 and 41 days. I think they usually start on 2.5 then go up to 5 then 7.5, I'll find out what they're putting me on in a few weeks I guess!

OMG this is the longest 10 days of my life! 🤣 how DID you all cope? Wish I was well enough to keep myself permanently occupied but the best I can manage is watching TV with feet up, podcasts and audiobooks! Just not keeping g me distracted enough!

@miw01 how have you been feeling - any symptoms?

@MIW01 it's not fun the old tww! I think I went for a wall everyday and watched lots of TV! Fingers so tightly crossed for you!

@Annny27 not really, jist same as usual pre-menstrual symptoms so far! And I think a few things from the progesterone pessaries . . . Lots of people tell me that they didn't get any symptoms in 2ww though so not really expecting anything

@Motherofkittens28 previous 2ww not dragged this much! I guess cause this is the best shot we've had since TTC!

@MIW01 there’s no two ways about it, it’s long, it will pass though ⏰ time waits for no man. I feel you though, time has dragged for the last 2-3 months in this house 😫 every day feels so long hard to find proper distraction x

I'm all confused here! Was told on Monday to go have my bloods taken again on day 21 for progesterone and amh, well that would be Saturday but as it's the bh weekend I thought I'd go tomorrow as my cycles have been long last two month anyway so prob won't be accurate, well now I've got slight spotting when I wipe today! Even though it's only cd23 🤦🏼‍♀️ so looks like tomorrow will be day 1/2 definitely inaccurate bloods, have no way of contacting the consultant so don't really know what to do and I haven't even really been tracking this month anyway so no idea when o day was 🤷🏼‍♀️

@MIW01 I can only imagine! You just need to keep yourself distracted. Every minute of the day. 🤣

@Marvellouslymadmum how’d you get on with bloods today? It must be really difficult doing day 21 tests when your cycles are all over the place!! I was just told to test for my surge and then go 7 days after, so I surged last Monday and went today for progesterone blood test as it was closest I could get.

Hopefully will hear from clinic once the results are in and be able to plan for FET next month!

Oh @polejunkie I’m so o sorry, I thought I’d told you guys but just realised I only shared on the other bus! 🤦‍♀️
I ended up in A&E on Saturday evening with another haemorrhage, full on bleeding onto the floor… they got me into resus where I spent 4hrs hooked up to all the monitors (turns out those go mental when you have a panic attack!) with no pain meds as they had none of the one I’m not allergic to available, passed about 1.4kg in clots but not the embryos, and they couldn’t stop the bleeding so after a blood transfusion they did emergency surgery under general anaesthetic at midnight. The good news is they did manage to collect an embryo for genetic testing, and the surgery went completely according to plan so shouldn’t be any lasting damage. My jeans have even recovered after a cold wash!
I’m now signed off work for two weeks, got a month of iron tablets to take, and work are being really supportive. I’m not back in the office until 22 Sep as I’d already got time off booked.

@Sunbird24 my gosh what an ordeal!! Sending you so much love, get yourself supplies and hibernate under a duvet, sounds like you’ve been through the mill. Really pleased they are still able to undertake the genetic testing, also glad to hear your work are supportive - I hope you get some answers x

Hello ladies, thank you all for checking in @becarefuloutthere @Marvellouslymadmum @Annny27 @paintfairy @Motherofkittens28 @polejunkie @crazycatlady1981 good to hear from you all. I am feeling dreadful! I don't know if it is the time for us or just the artificial progesterone (cyclogest) but my fatigue is much worse and I'm having to take myself to bed during the day, awful headaches, nausea etc. I generally feel PMS symptoms as I do usually but also a bit different . . . Sunday is T day! Longest wait ever!
