I did my trigger shot of Gonasi last night. Egg collection is scheduled for tomorrow (Friday) morning at 08:30 & we live 2 hours away without rush hour traffic so we're planning to leave at 5:30am and I am really rubbish with mornings, so goodness knows how that will be!

She did say that my womb lining was only 4 mm yesterday and she saw a fibroid, which was different to Monday's findings so I am slightly concerned about that.

Good news is she could see 9 follicles suitable for collection tomorrow!

I didn’t manage to find a private scan anywhere near me before the weekend, so am just hanging on for Monday PM. This afternoon I also got sent through a letter for a consultant’s appointment on Tuesday AM, I’m assuming arranged by the midwife as I’m old, it’s an IVF pregnancy, and I’ve previously fractured my pelvis… 🤦‍♀️ Guessing if Monday isn’t good news they’ll sort that out for me as it’s the same hospital department.

@MIW01 would a fibroid cause a problem? Unhelpful its only just appeared!
@Sunbird24 keep yourself busy until Monday. I have my fingers firmly crossed for you.
I've sent off my ivf paperwork today. So just got to wait for that to all be sorted. Then we can get to the next stage.

@MIW01 best of luck for tomorrow. Sounds sensible to leave yourselves plenty of time. Depending on where the fibroid is, it shouldn't cause you any issues. Think mine was still there at my transfer but do ask them where it is. Hope you get a good haul!

I've known about fibroid for a while but thought it had shrunk but nevermind, more concerned about thickness of womb lining! Hopefully they can resolve that.

@MIW01 🤣 Good old OH. At least you aren't late! We usually are for everything and that adds stress. I hope it goes well. I hate waiting for anything though, it makes me anxious so I hope you are holding it together and it's not going too slowly!

Thank you for all your support ladies! I'm afraid I didn't get off so lightly this time - I feel bloody awful tbh and I've had to spend all day in bed recovering. I am feeling so, so sore! I've got to start the cyclogest tonight and they haven't really explained that to me so I'm sat on the toilet reading through the patient leaflet hoping I get it right! Good news is they got 6 eggies to try to fertilise this afternoon and are calling about them tomorrow morning to let us know how they get on 😊

Well done for getting through it @MIW01, fingers crossed for some magic happening overnight! I’m on the cyclogest too, have they told you to insert them twice a day?

Men have it so much easier! Fiancée' biggest complaints were that he could hear people chatting and the TV didn't work in the room of shame! 🤣

Exactly @MIW01! Make sure you’ve got liners or pads, as you will get leakage…

Yep same as you....whilst I have a speculum/ ultrasound probe up me, I struggle to feel sympathy for DH getting to have a slightly embarrassing orgasm 😂😂
