@polejunkie sickness is awful but good you're on anti sickness. My midwife wouldn't put me on that despite ketones in urine and quite a bit weight loss first trimester. Over 20 weeks here and sickness is still very much here.

@Theawkwardblonde I was surprised they put me on it, my midwife wasn’t very happy with my bmi at my booking appt and I’ve lost 4lbs since, plus I was really ill in my first pregnancy (all the way through I hate to say!) so perhaps that’s why? I didn’t get out of bed for 4 days, feel for you - it’s really not nice. I need to start gaining a little weight!

@becarefuloutthere I'm just nauseous, haven't been sick so far. Woke up in the middle of the night with the nausea last night!
We had another scan today and saw baby's heartbeat at exactly 6 weeks so I'm feeling reassured!

@paintfairy thought it was time I dragged my sorry arse back out 😂 Have you made a decision on clinics yet?

@polejunkie my nausea led me to living off plain carbs like bread, chips, plain pasta and cheese pizza during the first tri so I've put weight on as I'm normally a carb-a-phob so I'd happily post you a few lbs if I could 🙄

@Crazydoglady123 they do have better stats. Its just further away (and very expensive should you have to pay). I was drawn to the other one though and i don't know why? (Maybe because they are more into genetics?) Literally the hardest decision ever!

@Crazydoglady123 I've been wondering how you've been getting on, oh lovely I'm so sorry to hear about little twin I can't imagine how hard that must be for you 😞 your other little fighter is doing very well though!

@Crazydoglady123 I'm sorry for your loss, just because you've still got one does not take away that other baby and its so frustrating people try to say something helpful but just end up being hurtful. I had someone say oh my friend had to go for ivf and stopped stressing and it happened! I did say, thanks but its unlikely due to issues both sides....

The EPU have sent me an appointment letter for next Monday afternoon. I may completely lose my marbles in the next week so I’m trying to find anywhere local that does private scans and has any appointments sooner.

@Sunbird24 that’s crazy - other than the obvious emotional trauma, how are you feeling, do you still have pregnancy symptoms? No bleeding / pain? X

@polejunkie no cramps or bleeding, but I haven’t woken up in the middle of the night for a wee the last couple of nights like I had been every other night, and my boobs kind of feel a bit more ‘normal’ - trying not to lose hope but it’s so hard.

@Sunbird24 I can’t even imagine, definitely worth booking in for a scan privately if you can, another week of this isn’t fair x

@Crazydoglady123 thank you! Yes, having all my tests at the new clinic, although we miraculously got pregnant naturally. The wedding was lovely thanks, worth all the stress leading up to it! We think we conceived the day after so a literal honeymoon baby!

@Sunbird24 whereabouts are you? There is a window to the womb clinic near us and they seem to be quite spread about, certainly in the south east anyway.

There’s nothing inside a 3hr round trip from me, I’m a bit rural… I would be ok with that if I had someone else to do the driving, but I don’t trust myself for the return journey if it’s bad news

So sorry to hear of your loss @Crazydoglady123 must be so hard going through all that.

I'm very pleased to say that I am responding ding very well (touch wood) considering my AMH is 3.9 and AFC was 7 at initial scan. Nurse says she is very happy with my response, I currently have 11 follicles growing nicely and my womb lining is 7.1 mm which is just within their minimum requirement of 7 mm. And they couldn't see a fibroid on the scan yesterday! I have a scan scheduled for tomorrow and egg collection is anticipated to take place on Friday. So I am doing OK. I feel a bit more bloated and Terry than usual but nothing unmanageable so far!

@MIW01 yay 👏 amazing news!! How you feeling about egg collection? In my experience it was all very straight forward and I knew nothing about it x

Thanks @polejunkie I don't tend to get too anxious about that sort of thing funnily enough. I was anxious when I had my first GA in May this year but for other procedures I'm pretty cool as a cucumber about it all. I'm more anxious about the outcome than anything else.

@kerrym87 thank you. Yeah I've learnt that people like to focus on the positives and struggle how to talk about loss so I've tried not to take too much offence as hard as it's been.

@Motherofkittens28 oh my gosh! That is absolutely amazing! What a miracle baby after all you've been through! That must give other women so much hope. I'm pleased you got to enjoy your wedding too.

@Crazydoglady123 I have my first gynaecologist appointment on Monday (been waiting 6 months) so just looking forward to that abs plodding along really. Had a couple of really long cycles so hoping they'll do something for me!
