@becarefuloutthere finally managed to speak to my clinic. The nurse at bath clinic said to stop progesterone and period should arrive in a few days, if it doesn’t, test again. Then nurse at satellite clinic said keep going with progesterone for 48 hours and then test again!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ So I think I’ll go with the satellite clinic advice for now, test on sat morning and assuming it’s still negative, I’ll stop progesterone!! And have a really big glass of wine on Saturday night!! 🍷

@becarefuloutthere I hope they do ICSI but clinic said they try straight up IVF first! AMH should be back early next week.

@crazycatlady1981 so so sorry, really hoping that next time you get that BFP!

I know OTD isn’t until Monday, but I’m going to call the clinic today and let them know I got a BFP as they need to send me more progesterone (cyclogest pessaries and lubion injections) for Tuesday, and it will make their lives easier.

@Sunbird24 go for it, my clinic won’t accept results before it OTD but fingers crossed yours do 🙂 how are you feeling?

Oh thank god I found yous I'm so stressed this morning I felt slightly nauseous the last few mornings and been having shooting pains through 2ww in my head... This morning everything gone 😭 should I be worried or is this normal x

@polejunkie @Sunbird24 @clolo I’m doing ok! Started spotting a bit last night but I’d already done another progesterone so now I feel like my body is having a fight against the progesterone because it wants to bleed!! Terrible period pain too! Urgh!! Not using any more progesterone tonight so hopefully my body will sort itself out over the weekend!!

@clolo I’m hoping we can start FET in September too! 🤞🏻 My work schedule gets crazy in November & December so I’d really like to get it done before then! Apparently I have to decide between natural or medicated FET! I’ve no idea what to go for although I’ve heard natural can get cancelled if things don’t go to plan so I’m drawn towards medicated. Short protocol sounds quite good, nice and quick!

@Sjhigs from reading on here it does seem that symptoms can come and go at random without it meaning anything, so try not to worry!
The clinic just called me back and we’ve booked in a scan for 10 Aug. Really hoping that this time there’s finally something worth seeing 🤞🤞

@crazycatlady1981 both my FETs have been natural, no dramas with either. I had no drugs with the previous one but have all the progesterones for this one. They did the transfers 6 days after I got my LH peak on the OPKs. Maybe I’m lucky that’s been a weekday both times, but you could ask your clinic what the procedure is if it falls on a weekend?

@crazycatlady1981 I did medicated FET but all I had was norethisterone to control my period (only to fit in with clinic availability), then estradiol to thicken the lining and prevent natural ovulation. I have regular cycles and I ovulate but this gave more control. I worry my lining is too thin naturally as well so wanted the extra estrogen (even if it is awful).

@Sunbird24 @clolo @Narwhal88 thanks for all the info on FETs ladies! 😊 Very useful to know everyone’s experiences of it! My clinic did my previous transfer on a Sunday, so I’m assuming weekends are generally ok for FETs too! I’ll have a follow up call with the satellite clinic consultant arranged soon so I will see what he says too and try and find out what protocol I’ll be on! My cycles can vary from 23 days to 30 days so I’m not sure if that’s regular or not.

@Sunbird24 excellent news on the scan date!! Keeping everything crossed for you that it goes well!

@Sjhigs hope you are ok! I’m sure symptoms can come and go and it’s quite normal. Have you got another blood test next week?
