The July 2021 bus has arrived 1 day and 1 night early but you don't need a FRER to detect it! Just hop on. Grin

Let's hope for lots of positive vibes & lines and if the lines stay away, you'll at least find 24/7 shoulders to cry on! Glitterball Brew

No tickets required, just bring some pee in a cup and you're in! Wink

Hope I've tagged all the passengers but if you're not tagged - hop on anyway!

@Sam8582 Yeah I got Preseed. I almost got conceive plus I think they’re very similar! It had individual applicators too! It is quite funny trying to use them at first - not exactly romantic 😂

Capricorn8990 · 02/07/2021 21:12

@Gummybear17 ahhh wonderful progression xx

Gummybear17 · 02/07/2021 21:23

@Capricorn8990 thank you . I have everything crossed! X

WantStickyBean · 02/07/2021 22:16

@Fiep I can see that! Look forward to the picture from tomorrow morning.

@Gummybear17 what a lovely progression, I'm so pleased x

I'm 3-5DPO, no symptoms yet but not really expecting any. Going to try and wait until AF is due to test but that's another 10 days. At least I know there's a chance I might have ovulated later so I don't get my hopes up if AF doesn't arrive when I expect.

Fiep · 03/07/2021 06:12

@WantStickyBean keeping everything crossed for you.

Ok here is my FRER from this morning. A vvvvfl definitely appeared within the time limit. For 9dpo I feel this is pretty good?

Showed DH, he was a bit annoyed at having a pissy stick waved at him at 6 in the morning in bed. “Can’t see anything”. Squints “ah yeah but that’s just one of those you-know-what-lines, aren’t they always there?”
I was like “look man, I’ve pissed on a lot of FRERs only to be met with pure white, this line is definitely NOT always there!”

OP posts:
YummyMummyXoX · 03/07/2021 06:50

@Fiep I can see the line Smile yayyy
send me some baby dust X

H8theW8 · 03/07/2021 06:53

@Fiep that FRER looks like mine at 9DPO when I was pregnant with DS! Congratulations 🤩

@Anonymouss864 a positive OPK doesn't always mean you will ovulate. Most women get 2 LH surges during their cycle so it's good to test throughout just to be sure. The first surge can be your body trying to ovulate and then failing (this is common and due to stress, illness, etc.). It's the last surge that indicates ovulation (although you can't confirm it's happened without charting your temp) x

TtcNumb3r · 03/07/2021 06:57

@fiep if he can see it at all that's great 😁 Congratulations!! sometimes I feel a bit jealous that men can block it out until a few moments before the birth when we're pregnant from the absolute squinter of a line 🙃

Nai86 · 03/07/2021 07:43

@fiep so happy for you ❤ I can see the line!!! Share your remedy with us 😂 have you used anything in particular taken anything in particular? As @YummyMummyXoX says spread the dust too 🤗

Nai86 · 03/07/2021 07:47

@H8theW8 so literally test everyday with an OPK? Did you often have 2 LH surges? I might try that this month. AF is at the point of leaving this month so I might just start testing straight away just to get into the habit is there a particular time of day you test? Is it pointless testing before 10am? I did read somewhere its best to test from noon onwards as the LH hormone is at its highest at this time

Gummybear17 · 03/07/2021 07:57

@Fiep mine looked like that at 9dpo. I've taken another today and I am pretty pleased with the results!

DeNovo · 03/07/2021 07:58

@Fiep I see it!!! And if he can too that’s great. So exciting! 😍

I did one this morning on a strip and nada - BFN as I expected! Will test again on Monday or Tuesday I think with a FRER

Gummybear17 · 03/07/2021 08:02

@Fiep and my OH is the same . He looked at me on Wednesday when I did my 1st test which yes was a real squinter. And he was like ' I thought you weren't testing until at least Sunday , It doesn't mean anything' I hope it's just his defence mechanism after our MC in May , we never really talked about it which was hard for me but he's just not one to share emotions .

Fiep · 03/07/2021 08:20

@Gummybear17 that must have been hard that he didn’t share his feelings. It does sound like a defence mechanism.

OP posts:
Gummybear17 · 03/07/2021 08:25

@Fiep it also made me feel like my whole response was an overreaction. He literally dropped me off at the hospital and went to work. I think he thought I was just being a 'drama queen' when I said I was bleeding. It was so emotionally draining as it was on my little girl's birthday too :-( oh well onwards and upwards .

Anybody else struggling with hay fever . My eyes are burning so much I had to stay in all day yesterday. I don't want to take antihistamines at the moment. Any tips ??

Fiep · 03/07/2021 09:04

@Gummybear17 oh I can imagine you’d have felt quite alone 💔
I think miscarriages are so under-recognised in terms of the pain they cause and the fear they instil.
Maybe for your DH work was a coping strategy but it left you alone and invalidated 😢

OP posts:
RosettaTheGardenFairy · 03/07/2021 09:36

@Gummybear17 - I'm so sorry you were left to feel that way. Miscarriages are brutal in so many ways. I can think of no other part of life that is so common, yet so un-discussed and that we as women are left so under-prepared for.

I can understand your husband's hesitancy, but at least you have a bus-load of women rooting for you!

H8theW8 · 03/07/2021 10:07

@Nai86 I usually test twice daily from CD12 but it depends on how long your cycle and LP is. If you're not sure, test every day, morning and afternoon/early evening (between 10am - 8pm is recommended). That'll give you an idea of when you ovulate and how long your luteal phase is. The day you ovulate can change month to month though.

Last month I was using CB digital OPKs and strips. I got flashing smilies CD15 & 16 and then my static on CD17 which suggests O will happen within 24-36hrs. However, the whole time I was getting positives on the CB, my strip tests were negative so I kept testing and got another surge on CD23, peak CD24 and O'd CD25.

Nai86 · 03/07/2021 10:52

@H8theW8 thank you so much for that. Usually mu cycle is 28 days on 3 days for my period. This time my period came early by 3 days (so 25 day cycle) and AF is still here. Hmmmm strange. Soon as she goes I'll start testing 3 times a day. I also use the CB digitals and a similar pattern happened to me that happened to you.

When you say strips ... what strips are they, I'm going to buy some ready. All I have at the minute is CB digitals.

See @Sweetpeasandpeonies @YummyMummyXoX still learning lol

Fiep · 03/07/2021 10:53

@DeNovo I did a strip one and it was completely negative too. I think it has a sensitivity of 10 units per ml (can’t remember the unit) while FRER has a sensitivity of 6 point something, so it just goes to show what a difference sensitivity makes this early on. Concentration of HCG would have to be nearly double as high to show.

OP posts:
Fiep · 03/07/2021 10:56

@Nai86 I used PreMom Easy@Home LH strips plus the Clearblue digital this month to pinpoint my fertile days.

OP posts:
Nai86 · 03/07/2021 11:28

@Gummybear17 so hear to read what you've been through sending lots of hugs and love to you ❤

@fiep I'll be ordering some of those now too 🤦🏽‍♀️

Nai86 · 03/07/2021 11:29

@Gummybear17 sorry *

dunkedbiscuit · 03/07/2021 12:15

@Fiep I can definitely see that like, congratulations!!

@Gummybear17 I've come on here to see if you'd done more tests (I'm overly invested in you peeing on sticks I think 😂) so chuffed to see the last couple you've done, what amazing progression! How are you feeling about it now?
