Well girls here is another thread.

I do not have af visiting this early... my cycles are 29-35 days.....and this month it is 23!!!!! very very odd.
It is also very painfull and heavy! Persona monitor on its way...bought off ebay. I have been told that I have 5 days to press 'm' button so hope it comes by thursday!

Runtus...can I ask you about clomid?......why did doc decide to start you on it. Just asking as I will have been ttc for 1 yr in Dec......wondering if the quack will refer me or start me on clomid???????? I bet you can not wait to get going with it!

hester deciding how much longer to give this ttc is a difficult one!

I swore that I would give it until I was 41yrs! (I am 41 in 3 days)!!!!!!!!!! now that it is here........I just feel that I should give it another year! this is because I have only been trying for 1 year......So if you are strong enough...I think you should join me!....'the two old dolls back on form' we can do it together!.....come on... take my hand Hester come with me and we will travel this rocky road together

hi jeddah - sorry about my duff persona info - fingers crossed it comes before day 5!

I'm sort of due for testing but actually more likely just due for a late visit from AF. It's CD38 for me today and I'm 'usually' 35 but had BFN yesterday. I have no symptoms for either pg or AF and feel in a complete limbo land. Partly want AF to come so I can start using my persona and get some info and partly frustrated if I'm going to have an even longer cycle that it is even longer (ie at least 3 weeks) until I will O again.

Jedsah, my dr said he felt I wasn't ovulating because my cycles are so long....anything up to 40 days so far. As I was always pretty regular before I went on the pill ( a million years ago)he took it as a sign of something being wrong and sent me for day 21 blood tests, which showed I didn't ov this month. Now just waiting to start the pills.....

If your cycles are long as well, have a word with your dr - can't hurt!

AF just arrived for me

Oh well, at least now I know and can start using my persona rather than trying to guess what my body is doing!

A little frustrated that I have an annoyingly long cycle (38 this month) and so it will be at least 3 weeks until I Ov but what can you do about the body you were given??? Will have to cheer myself up with some practice BD in the meantime

Fingers crossed for your mommyD - no pressure but you seem to be our best bet for a BFP

They do say that a woman can be irregular in ov but the LP is roughly the same. I am dying to know if this is true......because I have been using OPKs and had some funny readings with them....I just don't know, but I have a feeling that my LP is irregular aswell, but will find out for sure with persona. If it is I will be even more pissed off!! but we will just have to see.

Starting tomorrow I will be using persona for the first time on ttc #2, which will be my second cycle. I couldn't use it this past month as I forgot to reset it after lending it to a friend

Previously I used persona when I got pg with DS. I think it's different for everyone but it took 3 months to tell me my O dates and then we got pg the first time it did! So as you can probably guess I'm a big fan of it. It's really easy to use and as long as you are ov'ing it will tell you exactly when that is.

Good luck for this cycle.

i've just spoken to my friend from school, (first time in about 5 yrs, and shes PG - 10 weeks! it's not fair, she already has two... i mean it's rude not to share don't u think!) lol (i'm only joking!) but still it's NOT FAIR! lol.

Do you know what girls.......I am sooooooooooo pissed off.

Bought a persona monitor off ebay and we paid with paypall. Then gets an email from the seller saying that it will take 10 days for the money to clear and he will send it as soon as it clears (basically it will be with me in about 13-14 days!!!!!!)

I have started my period and it has been 9 days since I bought the monitor (money has left our account) I really really need it by thursday (cd5) do you think it is too cheeky of me to ask the seller to send it or will he think I am a right cheeky bitch"!

If I knew that paypall takes so long I would have send him a bloody cheque!

Jeddah - are you sure that is true? I thought one of the joys of paypal was that the buyer got the funds immediately and so could send stuff quickly. Whenever I've paid with paypal the buyers have always sent me the stuff straight away.

Anyway, I definitely think it's worth contacting the buyer and explaining that you need the stuff quickly. After all, who cares if he thinks you're a cheeky bitch and you've got nothing to lose.

agree with rudy paypal is instant- the money maynot be in the buyers account but it is in their paypal acc. there is no reason to delay postage. Are there ebay guidelines on this??? Not sure- you could if this goes on leave negative or neutral feedback. As a seller I post as soon as i have email verification form paypal.

Jeddah- I have a persona that I am not using - was gonna put it on ebay.....if you can get out of the other one and get your money back I'll post mine....will accpet whatever you paid for ebay one....and will post for free as it's not that heavy!!....meant to say that I would set it for you so that you were on the right cd......would need to buy some wee sticks to set it...but i presume you'd need some of those anyway??

well if he does delay i would make reference to it in his feedback.....'unneccesary delay for funds clearing through paypal' ....but i'd wait until he's left you good feedback first!!!

think I'll look out my persona stuff at the w/e and put it in the for sale lot.....just don't think i'll use it!!

quick EWCM question....AF today and think I had EWCM 15 days ago - does that mean you O the day after you have it? Or should you BD when you have it?

I say think as I've not seen it before, or even heard of it (- I am learning soooo much from MN !) but it seemed to fit the descriptions!

rudy...it's hard to tell O by ewcm alone....I can say that ewcm comes before O and is gone straight away day after O (I temp so pinpoint ovulation that way). Some women get patches of ewcm after O. grrrr ttc is never simple!!

But as it was 15 days ago I would say that you ovulated then and had a good healthy 14 day leutal phase!
