@Nobeautysleep haven't really thought about when I would test, maybe next weekend if AF hasn't arrived, pretty sure it will rear it's ugly head before then though!

@DinkyGT I don't temp as i don't think it would work for me. Just try and keep positive, I always drive myself crazy symptom spotting!

Just had my letter for my Covid vaccination, trying to decide what to do. Assuming AF arrives this month then I wouldn't be pregnant when had the jab, so wondering if it's a good idea to just get it done as latest guidance says doesn't interfere with fertility. Anyone else thought about what they would do?

DinkyGT · 17/04/2021 17:43

Really stupid thing but I feel I need to vent - on the app where I chart my temps etc some people have just told me that according to my chart I only ovulated yesterday meaning today is 1 DPO. This then means me and DP haven't DTD for a good few days as I thought ovulation was earlier so will probably be out this month now AND it means the bastard TWW will just take longer now. It's really upset me!feeling all over the place emotionally today.
This whole thing is just so frustrating!!!!

Nobeautysleep · 17/04/2021 18:27

@Cantthinkofaname99 there was something on the BBC news website today about how pregnant women should be offered the jab. I think it said Pfizer and moderna were safest, perhaps you could call your doctor and tell them you’re trying so which vaccine would they recommend?

@DinkyGT that is so upsetting, I would feel exactly the same as you. Big hugs.

dunkedbiscuit · 17/04/2021 20:32

@Cantthinkofaname99 I've had both my
jabs (Pfizer) due to working in a frontline role. I think if I had fallen pregnant before either appointment I would of spoken to GP further to weigh if up, but as I'm still not pregnant and at high risk for coming across COVID at work for me it was the right decision to go ahead.

dunkedbiscuit · 17/04/2021 20:35

@DinkyGT I would be upset with this too 😞 I hope they are wrong!

LoopeyK · 18/04/2021 07:23

Morning
My books are so sore I can barely touch them today, I don't temp qatch either as I would obsess over it.
I'm currently 10dpo I felt slightly nauseous late last night but nothing much, I do try not to symptom spot but this group makes me think about it haha 😅
Supposedly 6 days until af arrives so will just wait and see if it turns up

Cantthinkofaname99 · 18/04/2021 22:24

Pretty sure I'm out again think AF is here, although weirdly not really had many cramps, just starting to get a stinking cold, so maybe my throat hurting etc means I'm not noticing the cramps!? 23day cycle (22 last couple of), so looks like I'm off to the drs.

@dunkedbiscuit thanks for letting me know what your thinking is, I think I'm the same, as long as not pregnant I will go ahead, I may end up putting off 2nd dose, but who knows what situation I will be in them!

@LoopeyK I know what you mean sometimes I think coming on here makes me symptom spot more, but the support more than makes up for it!

Jellybean023 · 21/04/2021 11:10

How’s everyone doing? Any updates? AF is due today for me and hasn’t shown so far so keeping my fingers crossed.

LoopeyK · 21/04/2021 12:20

Afternoon
Af due in 2-3 days for me, took a test on 10 and 12dpo nd bfn so far so think I'm probably out again this month

Jellybean023 · 21/04/2021 12:53

Looks like AF is here for me now so I guess I’m out too :-(

DinkyGT · 21/04/2021 20:28

Oh I'm sorry @Jellybean023 xxx big hugs xxx

LoopeyK · 23/04/2021 07:12

@Mybobowler glad your ok, rest as advised

I'm out yet again this month af just arrived this morning 😪

That's quite months exactly now but just going to try again next month, I do think we need to be dtd a little more tbh so will see what happens next cycle

dunkedbiscuit · 23/04/2021 09:04

Sorry to hear that @Jellybean023 and @LoopeyK 😞

AF just ended for me so onto cycle 4 I go..

LoopeyK · 23/04/2021 09:12

Good luck to all those ttc again, this is cycle 13 for me, we are giving it till July and if nothing contacting the drs although I'm so scared they will find something wrong 😫

Jellybean023 · 24/04/2021 13:25

@LoopeyK if it were me I’d go to the doctors sooner rather than later. At the end of the day, if there is something wrong there’s a good chance they can do something about it and the sooner they find it, the sooner you can get it sorted and move forward with making that baby! And if they do their tests and find nothing wrong then you’re no worse off and can just keep trying.

Everything worked fine for you first time round so it’s unlikely to be anything really serious.

LoopeyK · 24/04/2021 13:44

Drs booked for a telephone appointment on 5th May 🙂

DinkyGT · 24/04/2021 14:23

Hello all! Hope everything is going well for you all.
I'm 8DPO now and since mid week I've been hit with extreme fatigue and feeling sick. I've also been needing to wee a lot more than usual. I'm thinking I'm either pregnant (🤞🏻) or diabetic 😂😂
I know it's still too early to tell but I'm remaining hopeful, despite the later than usual Ov and not so well-timed deed doing 😂

Wishing you all the best this cycle xx

dunkedbiscuit · 25/04/2021 09:29

@LoopeyK good luck for the doctors appointment , I hope they can give some reassurance x

Jellybean023 · 25/04/2021 10:09

I’ve also got blood tests booked for next week now. Google is a terrible thing but I’ve convinced myself something is wrong. My periods have been much much lighter since having my first which apparently could be an indication of a problem so...well fingers crossed it’s something fixable if it is. Age is also not on my side so I’m keen to get check out as soon as possible.

DinkyGT · 28/04/2021 19:56

So I'm out again for this month!
Not too unhappy as there was a blip with my ovulation tracking so I expected it really but onto another cycle!
Anyone else on day 1 or thereabouts? Xx

Nobeautysleep · 28/04/2021 20:42

@DinkyGT sorry to hear this, fingers crossed for next month!
@Jellybean023 have you had your blood test results?

I thought my blood tests were fine, according to the receptionist they were anyway, but now the gP has sent a message saying I need an appointment to discuss them

Jellybean023 · 28/04/2021 22:30

@Nobeautysleep haven’t had them back yet but I only went in for them Monday afternoon. How long did yours take to come back? Did they ask you anything like what day in your cycle the bloods were taken? I haven’t been asked and wondering how they can possibly know whether hormone levels are normal without knowing that!

Nobeautysleep · 29/04/2021 09:08

@Jellybean023 it’s been 3 weeks so I thought all was normal but they did say at the time that some tests like the vit d ones might take longer

WaitingForEgg · 29/04/2021 09:51

Can I join?

DD is 5
Cycle 9 TTC number 2

I got my peak on 22nd April so think I ovulated 22nd or 23rd. This is my first month temping too. I also had my corrected 21 day bloods done today (I have longer cycles)

Does anyone know if thicker discharge post ovulation is a thing? Yesterday I got a lot of thick discharge randomly. No idea if it signifies anything...

Jellybean023 · 30/04/2021 15:58

Welcome @WaitingForEgg. I’ve no idea about the discharge I’m afraid.
