afternoon everyone!

I am in a super-good mood this afternoon because we fond out that my team have won and industry award, so we have some bubbly being brought round at 4.30pm today to celebrate, although only a 2WW sized measure of champers for me

When is everyone's AF due or are we all testing? I am due on Wednesday 5th Dec, so provided AF doesn;t arrive early to pss on my chips this month, I'll probably test arounf then. shreksmissus and DG* are you about that date too?
CBCB well done on finishing the report. Must be a huge relief to get it out the door.

Thnaks for the CM tips twighlightsurfer and your symptoms sound very promising for this month glasto. Bucky maybe you should bring Finn along to the Christmas meet up. h eis practically an honoroary member of the 2WW Massive We can decide our venue on the basis of nearby parks and canine amenities

hello to everyone else.

Symptoms today - sore (.)(.) but then I have them every month around a week before my AF turns up. This has confused me, 'cause I seem to have ovulated around CD14 and AF not due until CD28, but get sore (.)(.) at CD20/21/22/23 when nothing is supposed to be happening . Otherwise, massive thirst (is that a symptom even?) and very mild cramping. Not much really and after getting my hopes up last month I am reluctant to read much into these. They also don't seem to be any different from any other month at this stage in my cycle, but as Shazza said, AF signals are more or less PG symptoms.

I would have come home with the PJ's even before I was PG, but think that's because I'm a lazy ar$e bugger

GryffinGirl · 29/11/2007 15:58

I heard of a good PG test on another thread - pour yourslef your favourite alcoholic drink, look at it and if you think "yuk! you are PG

sooo, clearly I can't be as I am looking forward to my mini glass of champagne

sounds like implantation glasto fingers crossed!

well done for winning the award GG

I was wondering whether to wait till Weds to test, but thought I should test Monday for acupuncture. Might have to buy a First Response though coz only have a Predictor left in the house and I don't know if those are sensitive enough to pick up pre-AF due date.

I may chicken out come Monday though and join you on Wed.

Bucky2007 · 29/11/2007 17:22

This is all so exciting today .

Hooray for GG and her award. Drink some champers for me as I will be skulking around at home in my pyjamas, that I did not buy instead of a party frock. I am however going party frock buying on Monday so will look out for said symptom.

DG if this month is not the month may Father Christmas bring you lots more presents to cheer you up. I think it might be though, how are you temps looking?

Pmsl at 'lazy arse' Shazza thought that was just me, although I am again on dog walking duty. I need a baby soon so I can make DP walk the dog whilst I am exhausted .

All the symptoms sound good...maybe we will be on a BFP run. When is everyone testing, I've got three weeks to go!

TwilightSurfer · 29/11/2007 17:23

Symptom Spotters:
I dug through an old thread and found my post about preBFP CM.....

[TMI ALERT]

"During pregnancy, changing hormones and increased blood circulation in the vaginal area cause a discharge called leukorrhea. This runny, whitish substance shouldn't have an offensive odor, even to your pregnancy-sensitized nose."

Copied from:
www.ahealthyme.com/topic/pregdischarge

Just another +positive+ thing to look for during 2WW .

Last time around it should up for me on CD26 (of a 30 day cycle)...12DPO.

TwilightSurfer · 29/11/2007 17:25

showed not should

glastochick · 29/11/2007 17:43

Am off out for the night now with work. Really don't feel like drinking alcohol - don't know how I'm going to get away with that with this tea, . Might just order orange juice and have them believe there's vodka in there .

Have a day off tomorrow for xmas shopping with my mum, so won't be able to pop back in until Monday.

Good luck with all the symptom spotting and let's hope there's some more BFP's waiting for me on Monday.

Have a great weekend

xx

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 29/11/2007 18:26

Hello all.

It's certainly sounding promising on here with lots of lovely symptoms. I am crossing my fingers and baby-dusting you all ready for your BFPs .

I am still bored at CD8. Am continuing on my b-ding marathon. It is taking serious effort given my seasonal knackeredness. Staying on the straight and narrow has been impossible this week - I am comfort eating my way to december with chocolate and cakes. DG - stop me - tell me I need leafy greens!!! I need wise words to help me to control my carb (non-pg) cravings!!

Hello cycle-buddies! How's everyone getting on at the 3ww?

P.s. Do we get Christmas emoticons again, like last year? I know lots of people think they're naff, but I'm channelling my baby-desire into being ultra-festive instead until a BFP gives me something else to focus on

PoinsettiaBouquets · 29/11/2007 18:48

Hiya, can I sneak in for this month only? Had a 'silly incident' with DH last week and not due on until Thurs 6th. The wait is driving me mad, I don't know how people cope doing it every month, hats off there. It was CD13 and the circs of DC2's amazing conception was on CD10 with half a, ahem, 'barrier' in the way LOL so I'm in with a chance.
Have decided to do a First Response test first thing Monday and if it's neg, try v hard not to test again until at least Friday if AF late. How long do you reckon I'll last LOL?

sarahnh · 29/11/2007 19:42

welcome pb and of course you can join, if only for one month!!

Well ladies, my dh has just left for a jollie boys weekend, so me and dd are heading off tom to see my family til sunday, and no mn access arghhhhhhhh!! don't know how i am going to cope!!!

Big Big good luck to anyone who is testing this weekend, hopefully when i log back on Sunday i will be ready lots of good news!!!

I will have to obsess alone this weekend, argghh xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

uh-oh, I'm spotting brown-tinged cm. this could be AF arriving early. i know i wanted shorter cycles, but i'm only 10dpo. had spotting for the first time last cycle, but that was at 12 dpo and I thought it was due to being such a long cycle.

would so like to believe it's implantation, I did have a rise in temp today... but it feels LOADS like AF.

abby eat organic dark chocolate! it's more intense and should satiate your sugar/choc cravings. I think you're doing very well

welcome PB any symptoms yet?

Hi all, I finally have broadband at home again, may the obsession recomence!!
So I am upping the anti (sp?) this month and I am going to use ov tests and start monitoing my temps.
But can anyone tell me if they know of a way to monitor your temps, online.
I have a new laptop and I thought it came all singing and dancing but it turns out it has no word facilities at all so no excel package to take the downloadables.
And I have just got my lovely new thermometer so want to get started

PoinsettiaBouquets · 30/11/2007 08:24

Only thing vaguely like a symptom is going off my nightly roll-up somewhat since our naughty night. Seems to have a horrid aftertaste and quite often I can't even finish it. DH can't taste it but he might just have killed off his tastebuds with rubbish tobacco LOL. (In case you hadn't guessed I am eating, drinking and being merry until the test hits the fan. Or doesn't.)

Shazza2002 · 30/11/2007 08:59

Morning ladies.

Got a few new symptoms.

TMI for early in the morning but still, a whitish watery discharge, more watery than CM.

Plus, loss of sex drive . DP was a bit umm randy last night, but I just couldn't get in the mood. I felt really bad on DP. But during my last PG I couldn't get enough of it.

Any testers over the weekend?

07mumstheword · 30/11/2007 09:04

I've just caught up having been away from MN for a couple of days. There are loads of great symptoms we must be due some good news soon.

Sorry not to send a personal message to you all but just so much to respond to. That'll teach me for not checking in more regularly

Cycle buddy Abby I'm eating my way into December too. I can not resist dessert and last night I was out with friends (one of which announced she is 6 wks PG ) and had the most gorgeous choc fudge cake with thick channel island cream. Yum Yum. I must get some fruit & veg into me today I only had 2 slices of cucumber yesterday

DG I hope it's implantation, how is it today?

I'm only CD9 and have been using OPK's for 3 days as I OV early last month and I got a this morning - CD9!! I don't seem to have EWCM or any pains in ovary area but I'm assuming the test is correct. I do use my FMU as there is no way I can hold on to my wee for 4 hours and the instructions say it is fine to use. We BD'd last night and intend to everyday over the next few days then I'm officially back on my 2ww!

Don't be sorry shreksmissus I am not gonna pretend I know what it feels like to be waiting because I don't, I know I have been extrememly 'LUCKY' to fall so quickly and for that I am grateful, but what I can do is try and make you feel positive. You have had good signs and why shouldn't this be your month. You have just as much right as anybody else

GryffinGirl · 30/11/2007 10:33

hello everyone

just realised when I said that my team won an industry award, I didn;t mean that I am the boss and my underlings and I won somehting. Just meant that I was part of a (big) team. Not trying to make myself look big and clever

shreksmissus - don't be too down, cycle-buddy! You have great symptoms this month and what shazza says is absolutely right. But the 2WW really draaaaags though.

07MTW you have said the magic word BACON ROLL and not I can't stop dreaming of one. I could murder one this morning. Does that count as a symptom?

hello everyone else. Any testers this weekend? I think I'll try and hold out until Wednesday provided AF doesn't arrive, although I might snap and test on Sunday with a first response

digitalgirl · 30/11/2007 10:46

mmmm....bacon roll...

well ladies, I have the day off today. I'm going to go for a gentle run in a minute and we shall see if I get AF or not. No brown-cm this morning (yet).

great to have you back fairysnuff

hooray for the mtw shreksmrs it's sooo frustrating the 2ww. and as shazza said, this could be your month just as much as it could be mine! btw if I don't get a bfp next week then I'm out of the running for 2007. I'll have to start a thread called "TTC 2008 - this YEAR we will get our BFPs"

gg what dpo will you be on Sunday? I'm too scared to test early I prefer not knowing

Shazza2002 · 30/11/2007 10:50

Have fun running DG

I presume you mean you'll be out of the running in respect of long cycles and not that you're stopping trying .

How's your temps?

You NEED to test Monday rememeber because of acupuncture, no getting out of it *DG, I am watching you
