hi cbcb how exciting that you're on a 2ww, despite the odds! I know SweetKitty got BFPs twice from single bd cycles, so you're in with just a good a chance as the rest of us.

CBCB the toadstool has been a bit of a love shack this month yes as DG says "don't come a knockin if the toadstool is a rockin" The BFG and I have been working hard on our BDing skills LOL hopefully we've gotten it right this month. Of course your as entitled to your BFP this month as the rest of us. Sod it if your in the mood grab your man and get BDing! what will happen will happen. Maybe having a couple of months off and feeling a bit more relaxed may mean this month is your month

Where are all our testers? Who is testing when? Come on ladies own up!

coolkat · 08/11/2007 19:48

Evening all,

Eww it could be such a good weekend on ere with all these tests looming, I am testing Sat morning if get a BFN drowning my sorrows Sat night!! Def going out as treated myself to two pairs of shoes today - how shameful! And on a quick nip into town after work!!

Well nothing more to report still CM Ewww !

Please to meet you cbcb and Isabella fingers crossed for BFP's.

So anyone else going to test?

Bucky2007 · 08/11/2007 20:27

ooh its like a reunion . I love reunions

CD19 for me here, so no testing for me for another 11 days! DP is away with work today so its just me and Mr Finn tonight. He has already tried to steal all my chips and licked my hair when I took off my shoes... so is not such a good date .

We definitely need some testing action round here. There is absolutely no excitement on (.)(.) watch here, nothing happening whatsoever. I looked back at last month and by CD25 the Dolly Parton symptoms had taken hold, so maybe its a bit early still? Starting to doubt if there is an egg this month though.

biglips · 08/11/2007 21:24

hiya girls.....just a quick "hiya!"...im off to have my bath on my birthday....ahhh bliss!!

all the symptoms i had r now gone apart from alot of White CM, sore boobs, hunger, ive got a spotty forehead, less peeing .

Yes it is all quiet on here....come on anymore testers and BFP's???....we need that bit of positiveness on here

ive got another 7 days till i test if the TEW doesnt get there so la la laa laaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

oh yes and "Ovulation bleeding"!!!...thats new... i wonder where the doc had heard that from!!

Hello all. I'm CD12 but now officially on the 2ww. Had on OPK Tuesday morning so 48 hours gone I've we've done all I we can for this month.

I've had a really gripey tummy & aches in my lower back but it simply has to be wind as def no symptoms possible yet. I've been eating really healthily since Monday and all those fruit & veg are playing havoc with my insides!

DG Can you believe it I actually like grapefruit juice now! I drank 2 cartons in 2 days hope that was enough to help welcome the little swimmers!

Bucky Aah Mr.Finn trying to keep you company and it is only fair you share your chips!

Sorry to miss loads of you out and glad to see some old friends have come back but I'm tired now so off to bed.

Good luck to any testers, we must be due a BFP soon.

ClairePO · 08/11/2007 22:54

Evening all, am shattered, far too busy at work, in at 8, leave at 8.

waves at everyone

I've been starving all day and I won't post what I've eaten as you'll start making oinky noises at me. Is that a symptom?

Re ovulation bleeding it is possible, I have had it a couple of times, once at uni when I had lost 3 members of my extended family in a fire and the doctor put it down to stress, it certainly wasn't implantation as I was single. That lasted about 3 months I think. I had it at the beginning of the year when I was up for a promotion at work, so for me at least it seems to be a stress thing.

SM just posted for you in the waiting room...hope AF doesn't hang around too long, as with your short cycles you need to be bd'ing from as early as possible (cd7/8). See you back on the 2ww in a week's time!

well, cd13 for me today and temp rose a little this morning. will have to see if it does it again tomorrow. bd'ed last night as I spotted some more EWCM. i will be so surprised if i'm ov'ing early this cycle! nips are quite tender but not as sore as they have been leading up to O in previous cycles. have also had mild 'womb awareness' sensations. could it be?!

Isobella123 · 09/11/2007 09:10

Quick post while I wait for Mum to arrive. She is supposed to look after DS2 for me for a couple of hours while I get some work done (joke!)

Can someone tell me what the 2WW stands for???

digitalgirl · 09/11/2007 09:18

hi isobella 2ww = 2 week wait, between ovulating and getting a BFP, yay (or AF, booo)

Bucky2007 · 09/11/2007 09:48

Good morning all .

Sorry about AF Shreksmissus . It never gets easier does it? In fact it gets more depressing as the months go on . Anyway, as DG says, be positive and go for it, maybe this will be your month. I really hope so.

TGI Friday! Trains are on strike so get to go home early too...hurrah.

sarahnh · 09/11/2007 09:48

morning ladies, well i have had an absolute nightmare this morning. DH decided that i had to test this am! He bought me a pg from sainsburys cos he said that if it came up good we could buy a lovely clearblue one!!Stumbled out of bed this morning to do the deed, but since i am blind as a bat forgot to put my glasses on.. did the deed tho didn't think it had worked because i couldn't see what i was doing and as dd was still asleep went back to bed. DD woke up 20 minutes later, checked the test and there was a thin purple line... Now really not sure whether or whether it was an evaporation line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please help girls xxxx

biglips · 09/11/2007 09:50

oooooh sounds promising!...can u put a piccy on your profile??

biglips · 09/11/2007 09:54

oh how many DPO are you?

sarahnh · 09/11/2007 09:55

well cycle has been all over the place but according to longest cycle and the fact that i bd on CD22 it would make me 14dpo!!!

OP posts:
Isobella123 · 09/11/2007 09:58

Sarahnh - I think you should do another test!

I thought regardless of how long you left it if you're not going to get a line it wouldn't be there (iyswim).

beaniesteve · 09/11/2007 10:00

hokey dokey - bought a test last night but didn't do it this morning. Want to do it when the boyfriend is there so I am thinking I will either do it tonight or tomorrow morning (morning is better right?)... that way we'll have the weekend to freak out in. I didn't fancy the idea of getting a positive result and then having to come to work.

Couldn't sleep last night... going round and round in my head how we would break the news to our families, and when.

I'm such a worrier. I want to be a parent, I am 37 so I should know how to act like an adult but this would be my first and I suddenly realised I haven't a clue what I am doing!

Anyway - felt fairly unwell this morning and am really convinced that I am pregnant. Only one way to find out eh?!

biglips · 09/11/2007 10:02

sarah - do another test this afternoon and see if the line gets stronger

Beanie - good luck to you and let us know..

sarahnh · 09/11/2007 10:32

will get another test this afo, i know that first mmorning wee is best but how long should you wait before testing (ie building up your wee!) sorry tmi, but i don't want to go through another very faint line and wondering if it is just an evaporation line!!

Also is an evaporation line the same coulour as the test line or is it a different colour??? Sorry for all the questions but i am really obsessing today!!

OP posts:
Isobella123 · 09/11/2007 10:40

I think if you get a line, no matter how faint, you are pregnant.

I think you get a stronger line in the morning only because your wee is more concentrated and there is more hormone present.

If there is no pregnancy hormone there can be no line.

Also as I understand it you can get a false negative but not a false positive.

If I were you I would try and store up some wee and go and get another test.

When I got pg first time around we actually purchased three different brands and got the same result before we believed it!

pixie04 · 09/11/2007 10:48

OOOOOOOOOOOOOh! How exciting! sarahnh If the line you got this morning was a BFP then if you use an early test like a first response or something this arvo it should still show up. If I were you I'd get a double pack then if the test this arvo is negative you can check with another test 2moro AM and don't fall asleep this time. It does look good though sarah I done loads and I mean loads of PG tests and have never had an evaporation line.

sarahnh · 09/11/2007 10:53

ohhhhh girls you are giving me hope, but i am desperately trying not to get my hopes up!! With DD i tested the afternoon of AF after a long drive had had built up loads of wee!! Had to get my hubbie home from work to see what he thought!! Ended going out and getting loads more tests and the all came up bfn!!! Tested next morning and bfn, hubbie went out and bough a cb and it came back bfp!! So going on what happened the last time i don't think that i get much of the pg hormone to start with, but having said that after my massive labour pains on tues/wed i really do think it is a shot in the dark!! Trouble in i cannot stop thinking about it and as a result am getting no work done!!!
