thanks pixie, my AF was very strange this month, i normally have AF for at least 6 days and (tmi) but a good bleed for the first three days.. this time around i was very light and stopped completely early morning of cd5 and by the afternoon i had started to get a that stich like pain and emcm...

So who knows!!!!!!!!

OP posts:
pixie04 · 16/11/2007 11:32

sounds to me like it could be a break through bleed not a proper AF it does sound like you are Def Ovulating/ovulated now though.

Have you recently come off the pill?

Have you always had regular cycles?

My cycles were all over the place for the first 7 months of ttc/coming off the pill.

sarahnh · 16/11/2007 11:46

i came off the pill last december!!! My cycles and sorry for boring you were 31 29 30 31 35 27 29 30 36 36!!!!!!!

So i really don't know... i am so positive this month for some unknown reason, i think it is hysteria!!!!!!!

OP posts:
pixie04 · 16/11/2007 12:24

stay positive! its looking good for you. Those cycles aren't too irregular. Mine have been anything from 19 - 71 days in the last few months since I came off the pill in February. I've heard for some people that coming off the pill can take up to 12 months for your cycles to get back to normal and then you've got other factors like weight, diet, stress, excercise ect which can all make your cycles a bit irregular.

Bucky2007 · 16/11/2007 14:28

Well I am still convinced I didn't ov this month . And no egg means no BFP . I don't feel even slightly pg and have no symptoms whatsoever, even less than normal. No AF today though so will be longer than last month's cycle.

pixie04 · 16/11/2007 15:21

Do a HPT 2moro..... what CD are you?

Bucky2007 · 16/11/2007 16:03

Only CD27.

Isobella123 · 16/11/2007 16:12

Hi everyone. AF came with a vengence whilst on holiday.

Good thing is that we have now talked about things and are going to start trying properly after Christmas .

We've got to wait until then as we have a holiday booked!

Good luck to you all and I hope that I don't see any of you on this thread in January (in the nicest possible way!).

pixie04 · 16/11/2007 16:22

Thanks Isobella, good luck for the New Year x

Bucky that's not bad, you've normally got huge dolly parton (.)(.)'s by now don't you? I'm sure you've mentioned it before.

Is it werid that were no starting to know each others pre AF symptoms? LOL

I think it could be a symptom that you don't have any symptoms IYSWIM.... when I got my one sore boob I thought "Oh no I'm not PG I know I get this a few days before AF" and as it happended she showed up so I think anything out of the ordinary could be a sign.

digitalgirl · 16/11/2007 17:45

bucky I do hope you fall into the "no-symptoms-is-a-symptom" category

Well I got more EWCM today after saying it had all gone. Am still waiting for sore nips. But will jump on DH tonight just in case this is a no-sore-nips type of ovulation.

Have been a good housewife today. I've baked muffins and FIL's birthday cake (will ice it tomorrow). Digitalhouse is nearly in order.

GryffinGirl · 16/11/2007 17:47

does DG stand for Domestic Goddess then?

Sorry starlight, did a test this afternoon and BFN, Feel that AF is just playing games and she will arrive but not until spent fortune on tests. I will learn!!

Anyway think because of the BFN's we will not a get a BFP this month as we probably did all our serious BD at the wrong time!

Good luck to other testers. X

digitalgirl · 16/11/2007 18:47

ck boooo to bfn! hope you find out one way or the other soon.

gg here, have a warm pumpkin muffin. it goes well with ice-cream.

Sorry to hear about BFN Coolkat. Better luck next time, hey?
I am still resisting the lure of the tests. Nausea continues unabated but I am starting to wonder if there isn't something wrong with my ears...

Have a good weekend everyone, and good luck to anyone testing.

07mumstheword · 16/11/2007 20:31

Is everyone going away for the weekend then? Sounds like you're all off, hope not!

Sorry for BFN Coolkat but it aint over til the fat red lady sings!

I'm struggling ro resist the tests. Symptoms - my boobs have grown! That's it! Nothing else, zilch, nada, SO can anyone help? I had a on my OV test a week last tuesday so I am 10 DPO today. How soon can I test? I'm due on next Fri (27 day cycle). If I use a First Response (that you can do 4 days early) should I wait until Tuesday (4 days early) I think someone said you can sometimes test 10 DPO? So I could do tomorrow with FMU 11 DPO? I'm so bloody impatient!

sarahnh · 16/11/2007 20:48

hi mtw, i think you can test from DPO on some of the ultra early tests if you can find any, though if you can resist i would wait til tues, just in case you get a bfn cos its too early...

I'm on a complete downer right know, just found out that one of my friends is 12 weeks pg, she already has one dd from a previous relationship who she nevers bothers with and here is she getting pg again... i know that sounds really mean, but with so many of us desperately trying, it justs get my back up!!

Sorry for the rant everyone, promise i will be back to my positive self tomorrow xxx

OP posts:
sarahnh · 16/11/2007 20:49

sorry mtw meant to say DPO10!!

mtw I have cracked last two cycles and tested 11dpo, it happens to the most rational of us. Try and wait, but if you can't and it's a BFP you must post immediately!

sarahnh that sucks . earlier this evening I realised that we're having a gathering round ours on christmas eve, my PG friend will be coming, she'll be five months by then, they got lucky first time and if we had been as lucky we'd be the same number of weeks. she'll be the first of all my girlfriends from school to have a baby so everyone will be cooing round her, it will be easier if I have a (secret) BFP by then...but I know that it's just as likely that I won't.

sarahnh · 16/11/2007 22:13

thanks girls, your words of wisdom really do keep me sane.. i just hate feel bitter about other people good luck, oh and by the way for those who know how sensitive my sil is .. she was the one who old me about our friend by sending a text saying "guess who's pregnant?!" grrrrrrrhhhh, for those that don't know she was very insensitive about me and dh's quest ttc!!!

OP posts:
07mumstheword · 16/11/2007 22:30

Sarah It does seem unfair and it must be completely normal to fee because I do every time I see or hear about a pregnant lady! It will be our turn soon. As for your SIL, well what can I say? What goes around comes around?

Thanks everyone for your comments about me testing early How bloody irrational can one lady get? I've heeded your comments and given myself a good old talking to. I will stay away from my HPT stash until Tuesday!

ClairePO · 17/11/2007 08:56

so who is testing today then? anyone?

ScaryHairy · 17/11/2007 09:39

I cracked and did a test this morning - negative.
I won't be wasting any more tests this month because right afterwards AF arrived.

I really don't understand it. AF is 4 days early. I always seemed to have a 14 day luteal phase and it is 12 days since the OPK detected the LH surge - 11 days since I thought I ovulated. All very confusing. Clearly my body has gone mad.

Good luck to anyone testing and I hope you all get BFPs.
